@@LivingWalks No I have never been to Leigh so far. I do travel to England from time to time to see relations and friends, and I worked in London for a while. Quite liking the ‘pocket 2 creators combo’, on two shots it failed to record sound, apart from that it’s been good. I don’t have a ‘smart phone’, but that seems to be the recommendation ! Strap it on to a phone for a bigger screen. I do all my editing on a ‘12.9” iPad pro’ and it connects well with that. Cheers Don

The cafes, restaurants and cockle sheds may be closed, but the views across the Estuary still beckon, and the people of the town are still walking their dogs and taking the air.

Dearest Renata, it's always a pleasure to receive your message. How nice that you enjoyed our little home town. I do tend to take it for granted but I definitely appreciate living by the sea. So now we've quarantined for 10 days after returning from Madeira and am back going for little walks, which is a real help. I miss the Island very much though and would love to return. Sometimes we take for granted many landscapes or places that we are used to seeing all the time and we don't even pay attention to beauty anymore! Your hometown is truly beautiful. Very picturesque and charming. I find it really an ideal place to live in peace! Here we say that things are seasonal, but there is a lot of concern for the variants and we are starting to talk about total and hard lockdown and not localized to areas like now. We will see .... We are moving forward with vaccinations but not too fast. We'll see what happens, but by now we are really at the limit of endurance ... Exactly one year ago we here in my region began the lockdown, before the rest of Italy. A year lived like this is really too much .... But hope and trust must never be lacking, like a smile and positivity. And a channel like yours makes me feel good and travel a bit with the imagination, waiting to go back to really doing it! Hi there Bernie, ha ha, I think like me, he was concentrating on trying not to slip on the ice, the hill was like a skating rink ;) I've found it generally to be a friendly place to be. Lots of 'morning's' and 'hiya's' and little smiles (but generally when you walk outside of the main streets). I totally agree and do like a 'hello' from a stranger for sure!
