That book will be a very valuable resource to me! I learned French at school, way back in the last century. Last September, I made a French waitress laugh, she told me that my French was 'cute'. She meant 'old fashioned'.
Hello Harry, it is so gorgeous with the sun on it, sort of highlights the finer parts. Thanks for the trip out this morning, and the look around. I enjoyed that.
That Mercedes that went around the corner sounded like it had a big US V8 with automatic transmission in it. On the other hand, the coat hangar is superb! Good haul there.
I didn't notice the Merc, there are so many big cars in Leigh that I take no notice of them. The coat hangar is what drew me into that particular shop.
Thank you for that, I have only lived here for 4 years, and it has been the semi derelict snooker (?) hall for some time. Good job I didn't show you what the Grand Hotel looks like at the moment.
I was planning on going to leigh on sea soon was planning on visiting the two music shops that looked promising but now I know that you can buy brocoli potatoes and chocolate biscuits in leigh on sea that has tipped the balance and I definitely have to go now, lol
Well, not in this part of the world! In those kinds of frocks, I might have been called Harriette. I do tell lady friends of mine that the charity shops in Leigh on Sea do get some very good quality dresses and ladies fashion items from the sort of folk who wear something once and then just could not possibly be seen in it again. Makes for some real bargains, if you like dressing up like that.
The sweater is very nice. The book should come in handy. Great video.

Glad you came along, it is pretty with the sun shining.
Great part of LoS to shop! Wow, that beautiful sunshine too 😃 Great coat hanger, have a nice (rest of) weekend, Harry 🖖
I shall do my best! Thank you for coming by.

You went past my house at the start of the vid!
It isn't a bad place to live.
That coat hanger would have came out of a fairly decent hotel somewhere in the world.
The building works was on the site of the old Corona cinema, lived at leigh from 1950 - 1973 now in NZ great post thanks

There are some 'must visit' shops in Leigh, but some are only open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The book shop in the Leigh Road is a must!
@@harryfaber thank you I will keep my eye open for that
I live in the brows way
So, had you bought a frock (isn't that the same as a cassock?) from the hospice shop, would we have to call you Father Harry???

I can tell you are an Englishman trying to speak French, much like an American trying to speak proper English, I suspect.
Oddly, French people seem to be able to work that out, too. Merci.
