You all forgot that Wemby might play PF too. He could easily play 10 minutes as a bigger PF, and Bassey actually played really well next to Wemby in limited time
Almost anyone can play PF next to Wemby, especially when Sochan is also on the court. So Julian can and def will get the minutes that Cedi was playing at the 4, even if we draft a SF. Wemby solves most of the size difficulties because he’s so big and takes so much space in the paint. The perfect guy is a guy who can play 3&D like Julian
I really don’t want either one of these picks unless it’s an almost immediate rotation guy.
Spurs are going to have to make some moves if they want to use both, and I would prefer to wait until next year when it’s a much better draft
If the Spurs draft a SF I have to think he is better than Sidy and Champagne. I’d rather see Barlow at backup PF than Sidy and Champagne. I thought he played well next to Wemby.
Blake don’t have a jump shot to be a shooting guard, you gotta be able to shoot to play that position, Blake would stay backup pg , I think tre jones will be traded eventually. We will draft a pg this year to eventually start for us
I definitely think Blake has a n upside .. so yea he should stay the back up ..trading Trey is the answer
Sidy (Height: 6'5.5" Weight: 224 Wingspan: 6'9.75") the only reason he could score, is because there was no scout report on him. When the opposite team will learn the guy is atm the worst shooter in the NBA, he'll be way easier to defend.
But I hope he'll improve his shooting, stop playing Fortnite, and go training non stop.
He’s 20 and his best chance is to be a role player. I wouldn’t doubt him so early. He also costs nothing but a second round pick. If he turns into anything that would be a huge success

Zach Collins is the tanking guy. We only keep him so we could tank for another year
The Spurs have to take Ariel Hukporti in the second round. He is exactly the type of Center that you described for the back up Role. Jumps high, Plays hard, Lob-Thread, good Rebounder, good Shotblocker. An older Prospect, but a Pro for a long time. He plays Ball all over the World on a Pro Level.

Looks good on that clip but I definitely would trade up from the second round after they get their first to picks to get Ryan Dunn if they can. Include him in a lockdown rotation when you need it. Ryan is hands down the best defender in this draft. No one comes close. The only problem pundits want him to shoot 45% from 3. He can work on that. Wemby, Ariel, and Dunn on the floor at the same time would be fun to see when you want stops.

@@Lab-RatI like Dunn a lot. Great Wing Defender. He will never be a guy that drops a lot of Points. But he looks like a cool Connector to me. A Defensive Power House. I think he goes late in the first round. Maybe the Knicks look at him. I think a coach like Thibs like him a lot. But when the Spurs have a chance to take him. Why not?
I think the biggest needs for the Spurs are three Point shooting and playmaking. They have to adreess that on the draft or on the trade market. No question about that. But after that they need Rim Protection behind Victor. I am not high on Zach Collins anymore. His year wasn't good. Bassey is a great Center to when he is healthy. But maybe a little bit undersized. So Hukporti is late in the second Round available and a mobile 7 footer. He is a pro and I think he can fix the problem on a cheap contract.
Only 3 million of Graham's salary is guaranteed, so he's more likely a waive candidate than anything.
