1:30 The name change had something to do with a $15m and $22m judgement against the park for a recent death and another severe injury at the park. The park was closed for a short time, then reopened under a new name and owner (the previous owner's neice).
@@ATVG Another site said that Mike sold the property to his brother, Tim. Tim may have listed his daughter (which would be Mike's neice) as the principal. Tax records don't show ownership transfer. By far you missed the best park is Ga, Iron mountain, it has a little of everything, hills, rocks, mud, sights, and some real sketchy trails for the no fear ttpe of riding as well, atv, bikes, jeeps and sxs all welcome
You missed Iron Mountain as well as Sunnyside and Fat Daddy's. Durhamtown is one of the most overrated park in the country. They often close down trail systems and tracks after rain because they don't want to perform trail maintenance.
@@ATVG Iron Mountain is in north Georgia and has really nice scenic trails. The park is just a few years old and they have already built a really nice campground and welcome center. They also have a ton of SxS rentals and they just opened a new restaurant. Trails are pretty moderate and a lot of fun when it rains. Sunnyside just stopped operations in January due to an ongoing law suit with a mining company that is adjacent to their property. Hoping that it will reopen soon as it is the closest park to dune riding in the east. They filmed two seasons ofTruck Night in America there. The problem with the state areas like Beasley is that they are often closed due to weather, hunting or logging. Fay Daddy’s is a small park near Waycross, but a ton of fun. One side of the park is dune type riding and the other side is mud trails. I have all three parks on my channel. Durhamtown is really geared tomMX and sport quads. Besides the GP track, there isn’t a challenge for SxS. They have a bunch of amenities, however their riding fees are pretty steep and they have no night riding. Biggest issue with them is that they will close a ton of trails after a hard rain in order to prevent trail maintenance, but they still charge full price. Great insights to the parks that you list., keep up the good information.
@@ATVG it’s our local park, we live only 50 miles from it, best parts are drag strip, got a couple decent hill climbs, got a huge bowl in ground to play in, small campground, decent gear shop, bad is price, around 70 bucks a sxs + 10.00 for rider, We’ve started going to Hatfield McCoy Around 5 times a year, that place will spoil you😂
Do NOT go to Beasley Knob!! The place is a death trap. I can tell you from experience that NONE of us locals ever ride there anymore. You'll destroy whatever you take there or worse! And I have to ask? What do you know about off roading in general? Because you sure don't seem to know Jack about places!! Ever heard of Google maps dude?

Thank you for the additional info. Hopefully nobody gets hurt again, and it stays open for a long time.

Sounds awesome. Thanks for your comment so everyone can check it out as well.
Iron mountain?
Have you been there? If so, what's your favorite part about it?
Can a 15-16 year old typically drive an atv or utv at these parks or no?
I would recommend calling their office to verify.

Sunnyside is temp closed btw. I got burned out riding at iron mountain. Too many big ruts that never got fixed by side by sides and jeeps
The night riding at iron mountain can be fun. I have videos of that on my channel. Just make sure you have a light bar
Durham town is by far the best

Moccasin creek 🤣
You love it, or what?
@ATVG absolutely not. Fat Daddy's ATV park is far superior and not that far down the road, still within Blackshear.
@ATVG I will say the staff at Mocassin Creek was among the nicest people I've met. The park just really doesn't have anything to truly offer.
