I’m a relatively new CoHT member as well. Once upon a time I lived for the next trek. That time is upon me once again. Hopefully we’ll share a campfire sometime, somewhere. Cheers!!!
@@jimbriggs3065 I'm at that point in life, too. Completely understand, as it is like coming full circle. I'd say it is pretty likely we're going to share a campfire in the near future.
Hey Jim. That looked like a great place to be with those scallywags!🙃'Hope everything is goin' well for ya'. Has the knife broken in two yet? 🙄🤠'Hope it holds an edge for a little while. Remember, follow your toes, not your nose,...unless its supper time. Take care, brother.
Hey mate! Sure was good to get out and camp with scallawags. The knife’s doing awesome so far…handy little fella for sure! I’ll give you a ring Sunday evening if that works for you. Cheers!!!
New look for an Akubra mate. Certainly you must get an insight into how it was back in the day. Looks like a good time was had by all despite the absence of a few tinnies!
Friend that would be a lot of fun going there. You should of went to po po Aggie first, they have plenty of women and whiskey. Remember the movie Mountain Men with Charlton Heston. Take care and stay safe
LOL! The “Mountain Men” is required viewing in my circle. I visited Popo Aggie and many of the original rendezvous sites back in the 70s and early 80s. I was pretty wild back in those days…I’m still feral but not nearly as wild. Although, drank a fair bit of rum the first night of camp. I’m sure there’s already stories of my escapades that night making the rounds. Cheers mate!!!
Thanks, but no thanks. I can't get warm with three layers of clothing when it's only 30 degrees F. I don't understand how they keep their hands warm in gloves with no fingertips. The food pots looked less than appetizing.
@The-Armed-Pacifist lol! If you notice, most of the fellas didn’t venture far from the fire. While the contents of the pots may not look appetizing, it was damn good eating! Cheers mate!!!
Looked like a awesome adventure! Yummy meal and the fellowship of kindred spirits....musta been amazing to experience!!
Safe travels!
🥃Cheers!
Recently joined COHT. I'm looking forward to spending more time doing this sort of thing. Enjoyed the video.
