I loved when we stayed there. Even their quick service breakfast is top notch. I have never seen a Disney restaurant empty before but that seem awesome and peaceful.
Our favorite resort! I agree completely about needing more creative mocktails. As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, but loves trying fun flavors- I wish there were more options around WDW.
Stayed at French Quarter my past 2 Disney vacations and will be there for my next trip! I really enjoy the atmosphere and smaller size of this resort! A messy beignet is one of my favorite things
It is such a special place and so incredibly charming. On site beignets, jazz band, Piano Bob, boat to Springs- such amazing amenities for a moderate resort :)
Howdy, I was not aware that you could eat at Scat Cat's without the Jazz Band playing. We might just have to swing by and check it out in October, although I would love to listen to the Jazz band .... 🙂 We will be at Boardwalk so it will be a hop, skip and a jump to get to Port Orleans. Thank you again for yet another great video.
Such a quaint restaurant and wonderfully themed menu. I love that you show the mocktails! I'm not a drinker so its nice to know what is available for a fancy drink!
It's usually more lively when the Jazz band is there Friday- Sunday. It was very special to have it to ourselves for a little bit. We love mocktails!!!
I think I found my next bucket list resort! This place looks beautiful and so fun. The very best disney beignets, the Jazz Kitchen Express in Downtown Disney, has always been my favorite. They are made to order and covered with powered sugar. I'm sure part of the awesomeness is the nostalgia from eating them over the years while walking thru Downtown Disney and leaving a trail of powered sugar, but they are really delicious. Thanks for another great video! Looking forward to visiting Port Orleans 😊
It's so incredibly charming and the boat ride to Disney Springs is a nice amenity, plus of course the on site beignets!!! We've had the Jazz Kitchen beignets before- so yummy. I am always covered in powdered sugar when having them, but it's worth it. Thanks so much for watching :)
I stayed at this resort last summer. The beignets were great and even taste goog the next day. Agree on the chicory chocolate being the best sauce, but the strawberry is no joke either. I also loved the Baton Rouge burger at Sassagoula with the fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese.
Oh this makes me want to stay @ the French Quarter! We have stayed @ Riverside (and Dixie Landings wayyyy back in the day). French Quarter used to have a full service restaurant. I cannot remember the name! I need to get out my 1995 Birnbaum's WDW book lol. All the food looks so so good. The beignet's @ the Mint Julep bar in DL used to be really good but the one's at Cafe Orleans were amazing. Have you tried the one's at Ralph Brennans in DTD? I feel like you did bread pudding there last year? Thanks again for a great video!!!
We're going to Cafe Orleans on our next trip! We did have the beignets at the Jazz Kitchen and enjoyed them. I think we just have a personal connection to Port Orleans :) Thanks for watching Lisa- coffee video will be out Thursday!!!

It was crazy to have it to ourselves for a little bit :) Port Orleans resort is a gem, great amenities for a moderate.
Our favorite resort!

They almost always have the same two- agave garden & pink london spritzer 😂 The best one I’ve found is the Swedish Fish at Bluezoo!
we should start a petition 😂
We LOVE visiting this resort and treating ourselves to beignets- the vibe, the decor and the sweet treats- one of our favorites!
It's magical!!!!

We took our first look pictures for our wedding at Port Orleans Riverside too. Really is a beautiful place :)

It was so empty!!! It was nice having it to ourselves but the music would have been lovely. Thank you so much for watching :)
Love your Disney shirt❣️👍🏻
Thank you :)
The beignets look so good! Thank you for another amazing video! 🙏🙏
They're our favorite! Thanks for all support 🙂.

It like you feel like New Orleans all over again ❤😊❤
100%
Chicken & andouille sausage is the most common gumbo...seafood gumbo's a close 2nd - no sausage, but any combination of shrimp, oysters and crab.
I feel like they just threw the gumbo base on these fries and didn't add anything else, but they still tasted good :)
Food looks a delight, I love your vlogs too guys, they are like my comfort blanket watching flordia vlogs as im from the UK 😅
Aww that's so sweet to hear, we hope you feel like you're there with us!

Sassagoula is a great QS option! We need to do a video on it :)
Thank you again I need some begniets ❤
They’re soooo yummy 😋
Yayy scat cats ❤
We're kicking ourselves for not coming here sooner!

i always thought there was sausage in a gumbo.😀
we need to let Scat Cat's know lol
@@ThemeParkFoodies 😀yeah!
This is steve but gumbo almost always has sasuage
I think they just threw the gumbo stew base on top of the poutine
Gumbo can be made with various meat or selfish
Ah! Makes sense, thanks for the insight 🙂.
If you’re at a lounge have a cocktail!
For health reasons, alcohol isn’t always an option.
I don't really get the mocktail idea. If you are teetotalers that's cool but if I'm gonna drink sugar water it's gonna have booze in it.
Alcohol sometimes triggers very bad migraines for me, plus having to get up at 5am for work next the day makes me lean towards not having it 😂
Food looks yummy beignets is delicious but not with sauce
They're our favorite beignets! Everything really was so good 🙂.
Rip an ear right off beignet
Ears are the best part 😋
Everything looked great but I will miss the savory beignets. 🥲
Ahh we never got to try them!
