In gonna put a tarantula in this. Can't wait this tank kit is awsome I might by another creatures soil and some zoomed vines thanks zoomed hope you do another review on this also some more cool creatures products love yall
Got the creatures cave for my itty bitty juvenile bearded dragon. Put some soft and fluffy moss in there as well. He fits in perfectly. I got it on his cool side. I Read on the zoo med care booklet for them that they like more confined spaces, so this seems to work well! I also have a basking tree that has a hide built in (on the warm side) and on the cool side I have a climbing log with narrowish hiding holes that he also fits perfectly into. Thanks zoo med! If I ever do get pet bugs I would likely use these. I’m using the 40 gal starter kit, with added supplies and decor. Right now he’s on reptile carpet but when he’s big enough I will move him to eco earth mixed with a little bit of sand (reduced impaction risk, not pure sand). Zoo med is my favorite reptile brand, I usually try to choose zoomed products as I love the quality!
This might be a dumb question but... can I use this for crickets or cricket farming ? I feel like this would be way better than having an ugly plastic container and poor setup. I mostly want to do it for the aesthetic though!!
how many gallons would the low profile creature tank be? Looking to keep a brazilian black, pink zebra beauty, or honduran curly hair tarantula and wanted to know if this will be enough room for them when they are full grown
It's...it's a lot. Basically if the pet can comfortably fit in the space of the habitat, it can be adjusted to accommodate a wide variety of invertebrate species. Always research the unique species you plan on keeping and adjust accordingly.
For younglings, it may work, but I'd recommend going with a slightly larger enclosure like our 10 gallon amphibian kit: links.zoomed.com/nt-a10 Always research the unique species you plan on keeping, and adjust their habitat accordingly. Hope that helps.
Many of the Creatures™ products could be beneficial for keeping Mantises, like the Creatures™ Lighting, Feeding Tongs, and Substrates and decor. Natural/fake plants can also be great sources of cover and making your pet's habitat look and feel more natural. I'd also recommend checking out our Nano Breeze or ReptiBreeze Screen enclosures. See our website for more info: www.zoomed.com Hope that helps. :)
Creatures products should begin showing up at Pet Retailers within the next couple of months. Check with your local pet shop for more details or on how to order.
Yes, a UVB and Daylight Bulb can be beneficial for Chameleons. Research the specific needs of the species of Chameleon you plan on keeping and adjust their habitat accordingly. See our website for UVB and Heating options: www.zoomed.com
Zoo Med is available wherever pet products are sold. Our 'Creatures' Line of products was just recently announced, so it may not be available in your area yet. They should begin showing up in stores within a month or two. Contact your local pet retailer to see if they carry or are available to order.
This is gonna sound retarded but... Would these be good for a stinkbug? If you're knowledgeable on the subject what accessories, food and plants should I consider?
The Low Profile enclosure and substrate could potentially make for a great environment. You'll have to research further for more info, but apparently they do well on melon as a food/water source in my quick research. Hope that helps some. Good luck! :)
Yes, exactly! Did a little digging last night and found em online. I've never seen a more perfect bug pet, imo. Though I'm afraid they'd kill this stinkbug and even if not the environment requirement is so different. Just something to look forward to in the future I guess! Thanks again
A lot of this stuff is unnecessary, but I will say the creature soil is fantastic substrate a little expensive $$ but great mix all my tarantulas are on it.
Im getting this for my new scorpion. Thanks zoomed for making this product! More space and better than the bugarium! Thanks for creating this!
Glad you're excited about it! :D
AWESOME im gonna house crickets in one of these for my red eyed tree frog! Zoo med is the best!
In gonna put a tarantula in this. Can't wait this tank kit is awsome I might by another creatures soil and some zoomed vines thanks zoomed hope you do another review on this also some more cool creatures products love yall
Well this came out fast.
When i went to Petsmart to find a koi betta, i found one of the kits.
Am I the only one wondering what the bug jelly's taste like or am I just weird?
Yes, but you wouldn't be the first to ask. ;)
Your not alone
I love these tanks.

@@ZooMed yay!
Would this be OK for a Praying mantis? I found a 1 inch one In my garden and I'm looking forward to getting this!
Depends on the species of mantis, but one of that size could do well in a habitat of this size.
Love the look of this! Is the low one good for millipedes?
If set up accordingly for your pet, certainly!
Zoomed❤❤❤❤❤
This might be a dumb question but... can I use this for crickets or cricket farming ? I feel like this would be way better than having an ugly plastic container and poor setup. I mostly want to do it for the aesthetic though!!
Certainly!
I bought the thermometer/humidity gage but it's stuck at certain temperature and humidity. Is that supposed to be like that?
Does the gauge change when moved to an area of different temp/humidity? If not, please contact our Customer Service:
zoomed@zoomed.com
@@ZooMed thank you for your response. It works,I was just rushing it to get to read the humidity/temperature
Is the bugarium good for a ghost mantis? Don't know if it could climb up the glass. Thank you!
If set up and secured properly for your pet, this habitat could work great.
Noice.
how much substrate to put in for millipedes to make a burrow in without the tank being to filled up for the low profile tank?
I would recommend our 1 quart Creatures™ Creature Soil:
links.zoomed.com/ct-80
how many gallons would the low profile creature tank be? Looking to keep a brazilian black, pink zebra beauty, or honduran curly hair tarantula and wanted to know if this will be enough room for them when they are full grown
The dimensions of the Low Profile Creatures Habitat is 10.5" x 20.5" x 8", so that comes out to about 7.5 Gallons. Hope that helps.
can u list the Invertebrate species that this tank is good for?
It's...it's a lot. Basically if the pet can comfortably fit in the space of the habitat, it can be adjusted to accommodate a wide variety of invertebrate species. Always research the unique species you plan on keeping and adjust accordingly.
@@ZooMed like what beetls species can or cannot be good for thr tank
Would this tank also be good for a pacman frog? I know the decor may not but I feel like this would be a great for them

Not with a mesh lid.
What are those bugs called (the ones eating the food jelly)
Those are Blue Death Feigning Beetles.
Hello does anyone know if I can use the creature soil for garden snails? im having a hard time finding a clear answer. thank you!!
You can! Creature Soil has no chemicals and is completely pet/creature safe. :)
What products would you recommend for a Praying Mantis?.

Thank you very much. I'll look in to these products
What's in the long kit and is it OK for an emperor scorpion
It can be a great starter kit for Emperor Scorpions! See what's inside and learn more here:
links.zoomed.com/ct-6
Zoo Med Laboratories, Inc. Thanks 😀👍
What was the grey beetle in the video?
Those were Blue Death Feigning Beetles.
Would this be good for Asian forest scorpions
It'll depend on its unique size, but the Low Profile Creatures Starter Kit could be a good fit for that type of Scorpion.
Does this work for tarantulas
It can! :)
Will this work for a hermit crab?
I would suggest starting with our Hermit Crab Starter Kit and working from there:
zoomed.com/10-gallon-reptihabitat-hermit-crab-kit/
Zoo Med Laboratories, Inc. Ok, thank you
Could you keep a stripe knee tarantula in one of these?
The Low Profile Creatures Kit could certainly be adapted to work with your pet. The dimensions of the habitat are: 10.5” x 20.5” x 8”
will the substrate be safe with a paceman frog?
It can be. See our Care Sheet page for our recommendations:
zoomed.com/pac-man-frog/
My Salmon Pink T is 10 years old. I've used strictly, peat moss. I will try this on a wolf spider to see what happens.
when will this be out?
Creatures products should begin showing up at Pet Retailers within the next couple of months. Check with your local pet shop for more details or on how to order.
Can you put a scorpion in the tall one or is that too small
It's not recommended. It might vary depending on the type and size of scorpion, but generally they would do better in the one with more ground space.
Do I turn a uvb and daylight bulb on my panther chameleon
Yes, a UVB and Daylight Bulb can be beneficial for Chameleons. Research the specific needs of the species of Chameleon you plan on keeping and adjust their habitat accordingly. See our website for UVB and Heating options:
www.zoomed.com
Can these hold water? TIA
While not built specifically to hold water, they probably could. I wouldn't recommend filling them completely though.
I’m thinking of using this for a future red clawed crab tank. It would be roughly 50/50 Land and water.
@@denney5222Did it hold water ? Thinking of doing a similar setup for a frog.
