Stop burning the ends just comb them out and boil them it looks so much better when I do my yarn braids now I comb the end out and then braid it and then boil my hair after trust me it looks so much better....
Hey dear, I wander if this is related to the type of yarn you used. I also got rid of the excess yarn as much as possible before burning it off may help as well.
