@@Quadi11 I fully understand history. Its just a dam shame. We as a race haven't came together yet. At this point I highly doubt I'll live to see it. Hopefully my great great great great great great great great great grandkids will.
@mrs.conscious right but where do we start ya know and I hope u didn't take it as I was trying to be smart or Insult your intelligence just was making a statement. 1/25/2024 I love the neatness of the style. This would work perfectly for those who may be tender headed and may not like their edges being pull from one state to another.🤭 Does this style last longer than having it braided to the scalp or is it about the same? Does it depend on how quickly your hair grows? Does it take a while to loosen up? I love it!! Her hair is so thick. She’s a pretty little girl. This gives Moms a different way to style their daughter’s hair if it is hard to grasp yet you want it to look neat!! Off topic. Love your nail color.😊👌🏾👏🏾
Thank you. For me personally, it's the same. My daughter doesn't like wearing a bonet or any sort of head wrap to bed, so it's lasts about 2 weeks. Her hair has since grown longer, which has extended the loosening process and hair sticking out. Thank you 💅
Good job! Just did this on my little sister's ¼ inch long hair and it turned out perfect. I didn't believe the outcome. I actually documented the whole process and the video is on my channel. African hair is so adorable ❤.
I wish I knew about this when my oldest daughter was younger. She’s so tender headed and braiding her hair was the best way to not have to do her hair so often. But if I would’ve did it this way, it would’ve been way better so she wouldn’t be in so much pain.
Offering another option for Mom's with children whose hair grows slower than other children. All children want to look pretty and handsome from birth✌🙏💜
This is lovely. Good job sis. Pls can you explain if the hair gell later turned white on the girl's hair. Each time i use hair wax the hair turns white but i noticed this is shinning.
I can't remember, and I don't have the recording anymore. If you search for "R&B non copyright music for vlogs," you will find good channels that have beautiful mixes.
Question: Does it matter which direction you thread or put the needle through to make a stitch? Or does it matter if you stitch upwards on right side then stitch downwards on the left? Wondering if there’s a pattern recognition for this or not. Thank you
If you're looking for a fuller look, you can add crochet hair. I'll be doing a tutorial soon, where I am adding crochet hair at the ends. Look out for it 🙂
Amazing. I want to see the take down method. My 7 year year got ahold of scissors 😢 cut off her box braids Friday night. She doesn't care, so she says, but I was practically in tears. I have a consultation and this may be an option.
I want to start doing more crochet, but my braids are loose asf. Str8 backs in my city start at $45. I saw another youtuber use this method, but hers was a little more complicated. The fact that these aren't criss crossed would make it so much easier for me to do this. How long do these last?
This technique of knots looks like so much tension on that poor baby's head not to mention difficult to remove. Definitely much better needle techniques out there that won't be damaging the hair and protective
Is this method tight I see your really pulling to the point that her little head is moved. I love her thick beautiful hair as was. Nevertheless at the end of the day. You’re her mom.
I'm sorry but this is beautiful but the thought of accidentally getting punctured with a needle on a child or in general if being used constantly by other people is not safe. Just being honest 😮💨
If it makes you feel any better, the needle used is blunt-tipped. Dull, like the ones used in hair weaves. Personally, I like to use the blunt plastic needles used in embroidery and knitting.
It looks to be the point and thickness of a metal rat tooth comb. Which means it’s dull and can be sanitized with alcohol. Not sure a mother/stylist who’s meticulous enough to carefully prep and execute this style would forget to protect her baby/client.
What amazes me the most is how this race does not realize how unhealthy these corn rows are to the scalp and then wonder why they become bald so early in life especially the women .. why put kids through this?
I gotta give this a thumbs down 👎🏽.. That child looks scared .. You definitely can find an easier style to do that’s less stressful for the child and more comfortable for you both..

Now this is what you call stitch braids ❤️
😂 Yes. Literally. Now I have to try this method as I'm still working on trying to perfect it the braiding way.
Yass, a better easier way for me to have Cornrolls without needing to know how to actually braid. God bless you sis 🤩
Right! I have to try this way now. Maybe that's why it's called stitch braids. So neat.
That girl has a beautiful head of hair
Is this easy to undo though? Maybe a video on undoing the hair would be great too
The undo is not as easy as doing the hair. You really have to be patient, so you don't cut the hair while cutting the thread.
Wow. What a lot of patience you both have. Truly a great job well done. So talented.
Thank you so much!
You are welcome, 🥰
Very nice result. What a patient little girl❤
I love that this is done on very short hair, yet it's still fab!!!

Best video on this method Iv seen thus far! Thanks👌🏼
Very pretty, and I see that you were very careful not to stick her scalp. I didn't see the child jump not once from being stuck...good job

That looks truly lovely on her. Never would have guessed the unusual technique behind achievement of the look
❤ Beautiful! Can you show how to start the needle and also how to take them down?
Yes I will 😊
@@simplyhairandbeautyhy sis can you please teach me how to braid, from the start.
i love the real-time format
Absolutely Beautiful!
Beautiful and neat, I can try it
I love this ❤, it makes it soo easy to do cornrows 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Wow ❤ Such a beautiful transformation 😍

Nice and the kid was very patient
Im so impressed that look very nice my first time seeing this wow incredible I love it very neat also great job
Awesome job 👍
Beautiful and creative!!!!!❤
Thank you! 😊
Wow. Amazing!! So this is the option if you can't braid those stitch braids.
Yes 😊
Her hair has since grown, and I'm now able to stitch braid using her hair only.
Beautiful hair style
Thank you for the tutorial!
Beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing. Do you already have a video for how you end the braids?
So beautiful ty!
Good work 💯
Nice work...will try for my son😊
👍🏾 for showing the product used
Truly amazing!!
Just Awesome Patience!❤

Thank you. No this particular gel does not turn white .
How did u sew the back.. Can u do a video of how u sew the back and what of tye tread got finished how did u sort it out
@mercychima382 I will upload a video that details how I sow the back and how to add thread if it gets finished before the cornrow is complete. Thanks
this is beautiful and she has a pretty face
Ok 👍🏼 can you do a video on how to take down the hairstyle
Beautiful video omg! Could I possibly install a sew in on these?
Thank you 🙏
Yes you can install a sew in.

Very skilful
wow just love it❤
Amazing! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Thank you. Now I'll not need to take my daughter to salon again for school braids.
Wooow so neat
Do you have a Spotify playlist? I love your song choices.❤
Thank you. No, I don't have a Spotify playlist. I recorded the music from a UA-cam channel that mixes RnB background music.
@simplyhairandbeauty Which UA-cam channel if you don't mind sharing? I might be able to get the titles of some of the songs.

NICE GOOD 👍 JOB
❤❤❤❤❤
I would like to do the same but I am afraid of breaking my hair in front because they are very fine. Do you thibk that I can do it? Thank you
Yes you can but it will have to be a very gentle process. When gripping the hair in the front, try to use as much hair as possible.
Thank you but my hair in front are very very thin 😢
Can u show how u take this style dwn? It looks like its a ton of knots created.
When I leave it in for longer than 3 weeks, the thread becomes less visible, so I only leave it in for 2 weeks to make the take down easier.
❤
Would this be a good way to attach crochet? Or would they be too heavy..love your work!

Thank you🤗, it lasted for 2 weeks.
Is it a lot of work to take the thread out?
@@Simba.Luna.no just cut the thread and pull

The needle and thread normally lasts for 2 weeks.
Keep practicing doing your crochet braids, eventually you'll have a satisfying grip 😊

thank you the woman from south Africa really didn't show anything she went so fast
Wow
how did you get this new technique of doing hair style. im African but i can't do that maybe you can teach me some har style
It's my childhood hairstyle that my mom did on my hair 😊
Beautiful but be more careful with that needle!🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️
Wow ❤❤
When you started the first stitch, did you go under or over the piece of thread in the middle?
You go under.
Loving the idea but it’s better when the pros uses the back of the needle rather than the point. The other method is better and safe
Wow😮😮😮❤💯🔥🎉🎊
👍👍👍👍
This hair is long. I can braid it with or without extensions. It will grow better
Ok, video of the take out...
I will record one, thanks.
@@simplyhairandbeauty thank you 😊
What kind of needle and yarn?
I used a needle I purchased from the beauty store. I chose the thickest one.
I can't recall the brand name of the wool.
So is she going through the yarn each pass?
Yes
Please how do you loosen the hair
I use sharp pointed scissors.
Where can I get that needle? And is that thread or yarn ?
You can get the needle at any beauty supply store, and I used yarn.
How do you detangle it😭😭
It's quite a process that requires a lot of patience because you don't want to damage or break the hair.
Where can i find that gel?
At Dischem, a beauty supply store in South Africa 🙏
That shii obviously hurt (in some parts shes twitching from the pain )😢 it's never that serious ! Looks tight and uncomfortable 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Where are you located
In South Africa, in a city called Durban
How long does it last ?
2 weeks

There's plastic needles too, totally safe

Look like it hurt
If you soften the grip, then it doesn't hurt 😊
