Niko. I was totally impressed with your encounter with "Flight Chops.' (for some reason I'm not a fan of his.) As an "Old Guy," simply a 1,000hr VFR pilot, I have to tell you your "little interview" with Flight Chops placed you HEAD and SHOULDERS above him! You graciously told him how much you liked what he produced, and that you have learned from him. What did he say? Not a damn thing, except that he blew and blew his own horn. I don't care how many airplanes he has flown or thinks he can fly. He should have the good sense, and manners, to return some "kudos" to you. YOU have done a lot for aviation. I enjoy your videos and will watch them as they become available. Flight Chops? Zero, nix, NADA. Mr. Flight Chops can just continue to look at himself in the mirror and say how good he is. You are THE MAN, Niko. Thanks. N-6395T an EAB. The Arrow is, however, my fav. :)
Excellent video. Crazy amount of traffic. It was good to see this for anyone thinking about flying into Sun n Fun. You definitely need to be on your game. Glad you had extra sets of eyes.
Very Cool, Way to Go---I'm 64 and just started flying a couple of years ago.. Way too much going on for me to process for a Sun-n-Fun arrival by air...
I love watching flight chops also, glad you met him. I also met him several times as he makes videos occasionally out of my airport. CYQG. Great video, and glad you guys had a good time. Cheers
Dear Niko, my name is Ne'ko! I wanted to thank you for making these videos because it has helped me with the fear of being up in the air. I actually really enjoy it to the point I would love to learn how to fly. Most importantly I see how safe you are when flying and with your family on board. Very nice. Nice to see and thank you again!!🛩👍
It's Foreflight. Amazing app for iOS ONLY, I think they now have European Charts and capabilities. It's not a cheap subscription but man it is amazing. Every pilot in the US uses it.
Wow Niko, you had me sweating thee approach into Lakelands sun n fun traffic coming at you from all sides, oh, and the green dot thing, didn't see that until you taxied past it, even your departure had me on edge, you can't not but hope everyone is behaving and paying close attention but Niko I enjoyed your video here most of all, calm collected, and cool like usual, I'm glad I subscribe thanks again Niko, and please be safe....
Great video NIko...I was feeling your stress but love the challenge of going into air shows .. even though in Australia we don’t have that level of traffic I’m loving our G5 and feel safer with TAWS awareness. Great to see chops.
Nicely done Niko! I have not been to Sun 'n Fun yet but thinking next year. Those arrivals are crazy! I have been to a few AOPA fly-ins, and you have to be prepared in advance and be on your game. Thanks for sharing!
Niko, what a cool video! I can't wait til next year! S&F2021! It was awesome that you got to meet Flight Chops Steve. He is one of my favorite Aviation UA-camrs. I hope to meet him one day as well. You did great on that complex and stressful approach. I can only guess the pucker factor was really high.
Wow... crazy stuff. I am catching up on the older videos. Air Shows are always crazy. I was a USAF A-10 Crew Chief and worked local shows on base in Pennsylvania back in the 90’s. Since I was one of two qualified to work the heavily cargos... from my early days... I had my hands full. Did they fly that C-17?? Have you ever seen it do a Combat T/O?? One impressive jet.
Thanks for another cool video! You all did great considering that (different/stressful) situation. Loved the airshow footage too. Thanks for introducing FlightChops. Looking forward to watching his videos as well.
Another great video! Great flying into Sun n Fun! Just watching you fly into Lakeland stressed me out. So the instructions were not to talk to ATC? Wow! Don't tell Flight Chops that I like your videos over his! Looking forward to Hawaii video.
Really enjoy you videos. I’m not a pilot but I always feel like I’m learning when I watch your videos. Good Stuff Bro! Thanks for sharing and I always look forward to your new videos. 👍🏻
There are 2 power plants in Lakeland and both are on Lake Parker , one is the old one and the other on the opposite side of the lake is the newest one. Lake Parker is opposite side of Lakeland from Lakeland airport. I grew up in Lakeland
This was beautiful. There is nothing like this in Europe, except maybe the Flying Legends airshow. Aero Friedrichshafen pretty much sucks right now. I hope i get to visit Sun’n’Fun some day. Nice running into Flight Chops, cool stuff! As always, thanks for sharing! Blue skies!
Also, is there a way we can donate and support you? Looks like your website is still under construction, do you have a Patreon page? I would be happy to pitch in and help. Cheers!
Great Niko!! I remember the first time I flew into sun and fun :) After that, I made a route on my GPS. The pattern never changes and same instructions. The Controllers are awesome!
Great job of flying & keeping tabs on your traffic. Landing on the taxiway. I thought you pulled a Harrison. Its controlled chaos at these events. Really enjoyed this video. Thank you Niko. Fly safe.
Yo niko I love your flying and video’s , I just passed my IFR, I live in Boca but iam based in Kpmp, hope to meet you at some time, I owe you for helping me with my IFR, keep it up
Great video man, really enjoyed. Sun 'n Fun is something I am going to have to drive down and see. It looks like a big variety of aircraft there. Keep the video's coming brother and stay safe.
Wow - really got to keep your head on a swivel for other traffic arriving and departing there. Very helpful to have some competent friends along to help maintain situational awareness.
Whoee! Thanks for the video Niko! My emotionally charged right brain bounced around in the back seat of your Cirrus while your cool left brain juggled those instructions like a boss. Electronics tech on F106's. Almost became an ATC in the early 80's after Reagan fired PATCO en masse for a three day sick-out/protest. Pilots and controllers all, hat's off to you guys 'n gals.
The 106! Wow, one of my favorite planes. Was the fastest in the world at one time, as I recall. I worked Acft. Avionics in the USAF, also. Mostly C-141A's and B's. Lots of others, however. N-6395T
Wow....! That was a great video.... thought you'd talk to more UA-cam pilots but super cool anyway! I know Sonia Sani "Sonikhanem" was there... thought Steveo Kinevo 1 was there... thanks for taking us along with you Niko!
Great job Niko! For the first time Sun & Fun arrival chaos you really kept your cool. I liked that you did not cave to the guy behind you (although you were a wee bit too south of the power plant). I think had you broken off due to him it would have been quite challenging to get back in sequence and it did seem like he did not enter the sequence properly... Of course you had to be there to assess exactly...
I rented a 172M from St. Pete and flew into Sun-n-Fun via the East/West Bridge over TPA. Saw Steve-O and Matt G., but no Niko! Next year man. Nice video as always. I'm still slacking on getting mine up.
Never been to that show. Some day! Was great to see all the inner workings of getting those planes in and out of there. AMAZING! Great that you got to shake hands with Steve! Another one of my favorite UA-camrs. Thanks for bringing us into the show! Great footage, and enjoyed the banter with your buddies. As a Northerner, it never gets old seeing palm trees around control towers. :) This was a fun one! 👍👍
Great adventure Niko, nice flights, nice video, and it was awesome to meet you in person at the show, keep those videos coming and thanks for the great T-Shirt!!!! Flew a new 22 GTS yesterday, I'm hooked! Paul
You missed the night show!, Really amazing! Whole show was great. You need at least two days to see it all crazy traffic! Definitely a multi person approach!
Hey Niko your videos are getting very exciting man!! Good job! I am very happy to see how close and tight together is the aviation community!! Kudos to you, safe landings always and #nevergiveup!!!
Hey Kyp, what’s up? It stands for General Aircraft Parking as opposed to Warbirds Parking or General Aircraft Camping, etc. this way they knew where to guide you. On the way out I had a VFR sign so they knew we were departing VFR. I never clicked the mic during this experience. Amazing organization...
Identifiers were "Cirrus" and "Black Arrow" how do the controllers maintain a safe sky in the aerodrome without call signs? What if there were 4 Cirrus in loose or broken formation? Having said that I've never flown to a big US show like Sun and Fun
If you read the procedures nobody is supposed to talk, there is just not enough time for everyone to ID themselves with tail numbers... it works well though...
Interesting system, I can see it works I know at Oshkosh they run a similar system, calls for seriously on the ball controllers, one or two errant arrivals could ruin everyone's day! I guess since there's all types arriving from sport to commercial aviation types, some with nothing more than airspeed and alti a transponder system wouldn't work. Looks like you had a lot of fun, one day soon I will fly my own design Goshawk to one of your Sun and Fun events and experience the traffic for myself
Hey Niko, someone from the Orlando FAA office called and told me to tell you to call their office. They saw that landing on the taxiway , lolol, that's a no no, lol. Must have been fun!
Saw your Cirrus sitting by the others! Few of my friends and myself flew in two Cirruses, instantly saw yours and was like "wow, this is real...." Great video as always! Maybe I have a picture I took of her :)
Niko. I was totally impressed with your encounter with "Flight Chops.' (for some reason I'm not a fan of his.) Great video. That base/finals was interesting for sure. And man those ATC's were a blast to listen too. Seems like a great venture.
Excellent video. Crazy amount of traffic. It was good to see this for anyone thinking about flying into Sun n Fun. You definitely need to be on your game. Glad you had extra sets of eyes.
Oshkosh light. Good practice for the "Big show" up north. Love making the 27 approach with the late turn into the numbers!
That controller on the inbound flight was awesome - that must be an totally stressful job
Good job. Thanks for the hard work on the video. Well done.
Your RIO in the backseat was cracking me up with his comments! I always wanted to be a pilot.
Very Cool, Way to Go---I'm 64 and just started flying a couple of years ago.. Way too much going on for me to process for a Sun-n-Fun arrival by air...
It took me 10 years of flying to build up the courage to do this so no worries...
I love watching flight chops also, glad you met him. I also met him several times as he makes videos occasionally out of my airport. CYQG. Great video, and glad you guys had a good time. Cheers
Thanks for showing us the arrival and departure like that. Most of us will never get to attempt an event like this. It's fun to see how it works!
Love that approach! I did it in an Aircam. KOSH too. Exciting, amazing, and tons of fun.
Really enjoyed all of the controller chatter. Clearly a very experienced crew on the ground. Well done Niko and crew. Great stuff!
ATC was great!
Super fun video, nice music!
Hey Niko, how is the app called you’re using for creating your flight plans. I mean at approximately 1:15min. Greetings from Germany Hamburg 👍✌️
It's Foreflight. Amazing app for iOS ONLY, I think they now have European Charts and capabilities. It's not a cheap subscription but man it is amazing. Every pilot in the US uses it.
Niko's Wings thanks a lot 😊
I see. If you call it a “Skinny Runway” it’s no longer a taxiway. 😁
So cool to see your perspective
Great video NIko...I was feeling your stress but love the challenge of going into air shows .. even though in Australia we don’t have that level of traffic I’m loving our G5 and feel safer with TAWS awareness. Great to see chops.
Nicely done Niko! I have not been to Sun 'n Fun yet but thinking next year. Those arrivals are crazy! I have been to a few AOPA fly-ins, and you have to be prepared in advance and be on your game. Thanks for sharing!
This sounded complicated and stressful arrival! Hope you guys had fun. Hope to make the trip from the UK next year!
Niko, what a cool video! I can't wait til next year! S&F2021! It was awesome that you got to meet Flight Chops Steve. He is one of my favorite Aviation UA-camrs. I hope to meet him one day as well. Thanks for your service! Have not seen a combat takeoff and I’m sure it’s an incredible sight...
Awesome video. I have Fun 'N Sun on my bucket list. Maybe in 2020.
Wow! Thanks for sharing your experience. I hope to make it down for one of these events one day.
Thanks for taking us along
Thanks for another cool video! You all did great considering that (different/stressful) situation. Loved the airshow footage too. Thanks for introducing FlightChops. Looking forward to watching his videos as well.
Great approach and landing. Plenty challenging and you did a great job with it. Nice job! Great video. Good teamwork, too....
Another great video! Great flying into Sun n Fun! Just watching you fly into Lakeland stressed me out. So the instructions were not to talk to ATC? Wow! Don't tell Flight Chops that I like your videos over his! Looking forward to Hawaii video.
Thanks for taking us along to Sun n Fun!
FUN! It’s really fun to watch this craziness. I can’t imagine how much fun you guys had actually in it. Yes, that it. You guys were definitely in it.
Great Pilot, Respekt Niko
Really enjoy you videos. I’m not a pilot but I always feel like I’m learning when I watch your videos. Good Stuff Bro! Thanks for sharing and I always look forward to your new videos. 👍🏻
That was amazing Niko! Great job flying! Thanks so much for sharing that experience!
There are 2 power plants in Lakeland and both are on Lake Parker , one is the old one and the other on the opposite side of the lake is the newest one. Lake Parker is opposite side of Lakeland from Lakeland airport. I grew up in Lakeland
I thought you were doing you impression of Hans SOLO when he landed the Millennial Sparrow on the Taxi Way in Santa Monica?
Thanks for another excellent video Nikko. That was pretty intense but you made it look easy.
Blue skies!

That is good to know. I may be getting a Patreon account soon.
Yet another great video, thanks Niko.... that ATC on departure.... 😄
Great Video Niko! Enjoyed the "trip".
I definitely didn't see any green dot! Wow! Great job! You're right that was more processing that a freaking Cray Computer!
WOW 😲 that’s some “bad ass” traffic management! Thanks for posting this awesome video 👍🏼👍🏼😎
That was insane, had me smiling from ear to ear the entire video :)
great tour thanks for the sites and the experience.
Great team work on the approach and landing.
Great Niko!! I remember the first time I flew into sun and fun :) After that, I made a route on my GPS. The pattern never changes and same instructions. The Controllers are awesome!
Good to know
Very cool! I was there on Sunday, but they shut it all down early for the weather. Better luck next year Niko!
Great job of flying & keeping tabs on your traffic. Landing on the taxiway. I thought you pulled a Harrison. Its controlled chaos at these events. Really enjoyed this video. Thank you Niko. Fly safe.
Sweet one Wow busy place lots of planes Flight Chops he's a cool dude great video Niko
Yo niko I love your flying and video’s , I just passed my IFR, I live in Boca but iam based in Kpmp, hope to meet you at some time, I owe you for helping me with my IFR, keep it up
Hey Niko. Will you please do a video talking about the requirements for landing out of the US and all that's involved, thanks
Ok
You did a great job in a stressful approach and traffic situation . Lol ATC.
Insane. Glad to have this to “mind” prep for KOSH. Your TIS-B was lit up! Great video.

@@mmichaeldonavon Glory days!
I like the "Rock em Hard SIR" - Thanks for the Video!
Wow....! That was a great video.... thought you'd talk to more UA-cam pilots but super cool anyway! I know Sonia Sani "Sonikhanem" was there... thought Steveo Kinevo 1 was there... thanks for taking us along with you Niko!
I spoke to all of them, only interviewed Chops though.
I'll bet it was a great time...! Blue skies and soft landings!
Just like Harrison Ford, except you had permission
LOL
ahh the old Ford maneuver.
Awesome! wish I could have been there.
It certainly helps to have those extra eyes in the cockpit , nice landing though .
...Awesome Brotha. Every flight is a lesson
Great video as usual. Damn I love the Viper, too bad it won't be at my local airshow this year.
Flying in looked very stressful! Great job! Thanks for another great video!
Yup but it all worked out fine in the end
Great Video - I need to get down to that event next year.
I rented a 172M from St. Pete and flew into Sun-n-Fun via the East/West Bridge over TPA. Saw Steve-O and Matt G., but no Niko! Next year man. Nice video as always. I'm still slacking on getting mine up.

Great video thx for sharing!
Never been to that show. Some day! Was great to see all the inner workings of getting those planes in and out of there. AMAZING!
Great that you got to shake hands with Steve! Another one of my favorite UA-camrs.

Awesome music mix Niko!
CAVU to you!
Great video. Nice job...
Hi Niko
That was fantastic!!!
Thanks for the video and safe flying
Arturo
Niko, another great video!! Did you do a run up prior to taking off being rushed and all the traffic? if so, where on taxi route? tks, phh
Of course I did, when stuck in traffic a bit earlier turned the tail away from the guys behind me and did it.
nice video thanks for sharing.
You missed the night show!, Really amazing! Whole show was great. You need at least two days to see it all crazy traffic! Definitely a multi person approach!
Next time for sure
That was fun, thanks for the ride!
That was great Niko, and thank you for taking us along.
Actor Harrison Ford landed on a Taxiway but he miscalculated!
Great Video as usual. Enjoyed it

Fabulous! what was the "GAP" sign for ?
Hey Kyp, what’s up? It stands for General Aircraft Parking as opposed to Warbirds Parking or General Aircraft Camping, etc. this way they knew where to guide you. On the way out I had a VFR sign so they knew we were departing VFR. I never clicked the mic during this experience. Amazing organization...
On one of your videos you say you're from Patra. My mother is from the bozaitika.
Small world!
