    The fourth episode of my marathon training has arrived and in this video, I touch on some important topics as highly requested. Other than running, eating, and unboxing new shoes, I talk about my physical and mental health, which in my opinion is a crucial part of marathon training regardless of your starting point.

    Could you sometime do a video of what it’s like to live in Copenhagen? Showing shops, restaurants, and walking about the town??🫶🏻

      Hehe seems like you guys want to watch that! I've shared a lot of places and shops throughout my videos so maybe take a look back at previous ones. However, I won't stay here for much longer... but I'll definitely keep it in mind :)

    Great job Kat! I hoep you do well come May 5th! I ran the Copenhagen Marathon last year, and it was so much fun! The spectators are great! It was so hot that day, that I had salt in my hair from all the sweat. I hope it's cooler this year! Good luck!

      I am really excited! I can't wait to feel the crowds and atmosphere.. It'll be a rush..
      And believe me, I hope so too! Somewhere around 13-15 degrees c and a slight breeze would be ideal :')

    You had me at "shoes". Enough said. There are six shoes in my rotation, including the Propel for daily runs and the Boston 12 for tempo and threshold runs.

    just came back from a trip to Copenhagen! you inspired me to visit and I had such a wonderful time. we tried Hello Pasta (the truffle pasta was amazing) and Jagger which I saw in your videos 💛

    I'm a newbie in running, and I'm having my first marathon in April(10km). Your video was the first one in my suggestion and I'm so glad it was you! I'm in love with your blog😍
    Can you please show and tell a bit more about all the running shoes you have? Cus I usually choose Nike shoes and it would be helpful to get to know about other running shoes. Thank you!

    Happy you can continue running. Do you like the FuelCell Propel? I bought them because they’re not expensive even not on sale. But you often get what you pay. I switched to the 1080 and FuelCell Rebell though and called it a learning experience 😅 hope you like it more.

      To me, they feel amazing! I am super happy with them. I believe I got a 65% discount and I couldn't resist. I believe they feel good for the purpose I want to use them for as a rotation shoe. I'll be running in them on my longer, easy runs s well as recovery runs :)
      Rebell seemed more like a tempo shoe ? idk I'll have another look ;)

    You might wanna look into the hystorie of better help and how they handled privacy things... and other negative things that have come out over time..
    ( i can understand sponsorships are a great money resource so I totally understand if you still keep going with them, just wanted to let you know not all sponsers are ok especially if they can do damage to people)
    Also not saying everyone has issues with them. Just wanted to show there can be a downside to some sponsors.
    Great that you got the go ahead from you're doctor it shows how hard you work at every front and it pays off. I'm happy for you keep up the good work!
    I wonder is there something of a workoutplan for when a marathon is done? I mean there is a wrokplan towards it but i was wondering if there was something for after (yeah probably the first week or so... or more idk weldeserved rest but then what?) Never done a marathon so it might be a silly question.

      Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm aware that there are a bit of mixed opinions which I completely understand. Therapy is a sensitive topic too and everyone has their own experiences. I've personally only found it beneficial, otherwise I would not recommend it to you.
      Thank you :) As far as after the marathon - I have no idea. I'm actually going back to Japan 3 days after the marathon so I'll see how my running continues afterwards. But I can say for sure, I will continue to run and I have a feeling I may get thirsty to look for more marathons to train towards :)

    Can u make a video about the marathon in cph in generel? Like the rules for the run, fx rules about music, the route u will be running I copenhagen, how everything is organized in the term of the race, which clothes u are wearing in the race (and what u have heard is the best) and etc. It would also be great if u told us how you are going to plan the lastfour weeks until the run - like what is recommended of eating, resting and distance close to the run.

      Oo that's a high demand haha! Every info about Copenhagen Marathon is on their official website so I won't discuss that in a video. I'll definitely show my outfit on race day but not until I actually record the race itself (vlog the day). I have more videos planned don't worry :)

    Which shoes do you suggest if someone s starting running on the roads? 5-10k

      First of all, I always suggest for everyone to get a running check at a store. They'll mare sure you get the shoes that fit your style of running! However, I know that asics nimbus 25 and asics novoblast are really popular for beginners, getting into running :)

      About the same! I paid around 95 $ usd which was a bargain! They retailed for 238$ usd

      I'm glad! I unfortunately don't because I haven't got a proper heart-rate monitor. But yes, you're correct! It's important because you want to give the right effort during the right times - push harder on intervals runs and hold back on longer, easy effort & recovery runs. I honestly just go with my gut feeling and believe me I can tell when I feel my heart rate rising! :')
      I will get one though because I think, from a scientific perspective, that it's quite interesting ! 💕

      Absolutely! Take it easy, don't expect too much from yourself and literally just do what feels good for you. Remember patience, recovery and refuelling is important to become successful when running as well
