I appreciate your commentary/ thought process. Hot press paper is always smoother than cold or rough press. Love the addition of the color pencils. I've been following Kolbie Blume (watercolor artist) . When she is finished with her painting, she will put Loved and Learned on the back (in her sketch book) And then put at least one item down for each. Love the colors and the bubbles.

I wonder if spraying with alcohol would still give you the fluidity, but then dry more quickly so as not to soak the edges.

I noticed that you added some white bubbles or circles on the upper right hand side of yr piece….I really LOVE the colors in this piece. From beginning to end, I enjoyed yr comments, doodles, etc. I, too, have dotting tools and love to use them in my art. I really like the little squares that are white on the top. They look like some exotic water plant floating in a pond or lake. And yr stones are wonderful. I am going to try adding shading to my art, too! Thank you for your videos!! They are some of my very favorite!❤

Yep! Those shapes have made it into other paintings in some form or another, yes. It's OK, I don't have to love everything I doodle 😆

I just love this piece! The little transparent white bubbles created such a nice balance to all of the white elements. It's like they are little champagne bubbles that draw your eye to that quadrant.
