I love all of your work. Definitely want to see more alcohol inks works. You need an Etsy shop. I’d would buy those squares you’ve punched out. Hopefully I can afford one of your art works. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.❤
Dot from the UK Well, it's 5.30 in the morning and I didn't really think I'd stay awake to watch all of this video, but I have. It was amazing, you are an amazing artist, and your art is right up my street, as we say in England. I loved all of your work. You have a fabulous imagination. Each piece of art was a joy to behold. Thank you for sharing. Iam going to watch all of your videos. I have just found you and so glad I did. I will 73 in May and retired and a single widow living alone, so plenty of time on my hands. I have always dabbled in art, and I love to doodle, but recently have developed arthritis so I have had to cut back on the amount of time I spend drawing due to trigger finger and thumb and pain in my hands. Enjoy making art while you can and take it as far as you can, I hope you never get arthritis in your hands. It is such a gift and privilege to be able to create art. Especially when others get pleasure out of it as well as yourself. Lots of love from the UK, Dot xxx.
What a wealth of knowledge you have acquired, colour combinations, shapes, and designs. Thank you for sharing your work, I love it. I hope you make a mushroom video, they looked such fun.
Hi, I'm watching this video in early November 2024. The next one is more beautiful than the last, and so on!! I'm enjoying 2023. I felt like as to selling your products, I don't know how it worked out, but I'd just take small bites to incorporate anything else into my everyday life. And, too, I think people just know when it's time for a new beginning!! They can be very exciting! Never forget, you're teaching us, different and beautiful things. Judging from all the comments I've read, you're doing a super good job! And we applaud and appreciate it! Thanks kindly, a fellow explorer.😊❤
Love the alcohol inks and I would definitely love to see more recordings. Thanks for sharing your work from last year, you have created some beautiful pieces.
Wow absolutely gorgeous collection. Time effort and creativity just awesome work. I really liked you alcohol ink collection and would love to see more if you can make more videos on them. Thanks for sharing
I think I loved all of them, for one reason or another! I'm sorry that the algorithm won't let you do the alcohol inks, because I can tell you love it so much! Thanks for sharing. ♥
Danke für's zeigen. Unglaublich welchen Ideenreichtum Sie besitzen. Ich sitze häufig vor meinen Farbflächen und weiß nicht weiter. Ich kann nicht loslassen.
You don’t have a problem, you are an artist and we obsess when we find our niche of creativity. Keep going, do it for YOU. Try yupo paper. Ranger inks, circles within circles is my obsession….
Wow! you are very prolific! You are a wealth of creative ideas Bettina. if you had a book showing your process, I would buy it. I really love how in a couple videos, you sit and doodle a just talk about life and reflect on musings. So calming. Thank you for showing us all your pieces. It's fun hear your take on some of the pieces and how you will say..."this one isn't one of my favorites", but then will also mention that it's one of your viewers favorites.
Oh Bettina! I LOVED this video! I could just cry… you are so amazing! Your art really speaks to me and I am so glad that I found yr channel! Those acrylic ink pieces make my heart ache (in a good way)! I wish I had 1/100th of yr talent! I struggle with my art. I do not have any drawing skills whatsoever….so I thought I would try abstract. But even this style seems to elude me. I can’t understand why yr acrylic ink videos didn’t do well. They are SOOOO beautiful. Thank you for going through yr year of art with us. It was so interesting to hear yr thoughts regarding yr creative process. I am looking forward to seeing what you are going to create in 2024!
Terri, thank you for your comment! It breaks my heart to hear you're struggling with your art 😔 a couple of suggestions I can give you are 1. Art/creativity is a muscle. The more you use it, the better you will get at it! I'm not saying I'm perfect, but I'm a good example! I may have a small skill set, but I build on that. There is a reason why you don't see me doing realism, it's because I'm not good at it! I also don't find joy in recreating something that is already there, but that's a different issue. #2 would be to give yourself grace when creating anything. If something doesn't work out at that moment, put it away. Try something different or just take a break. You might come back to it, or not. Or you might cover it all up with something else and that's okay as well. It will become part of this painting 's history. Something secret, maybe only you know about 😉 I love that you're so honest and I'm so happy to have you here. Keep doing what you're doing, as long as you find relief and joy in it. Much love 💕 B.
I thoroughly enjoyed this look at your year in art!! Those “stickers” would sell extremely well!! As would your magnets. In fact, I think the “stickers” would look gorgeous as brooches - either printed on wood or with an acrylic backing and a light coat of resin on them. I admire your prolific exploration of different ideas. It’s the only way to find what you enjoy and it gives you a wonderful toolbox of ideas and skills to use in future art. I’m so glad I found your art channel!! ❤️❤️❤️
So much creative beauty! It is all so inspiring … and I would love to see alcohol ink videos too. I can understand your apprehension with deciding to sell your work but think it would make many people happy to have one of your paintings on their wall. And the magnets would make amazing gifts. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and joy with us here. 💙💫
Just watched your whole 23 review and got extremely inspired. Lovely work. I usually paint on yupo and want to experiment more with the inks and doodles. The neurographics are fun too. Thank you for sharing your work. Such a pleasure. I can see the little cut out squares being glued back to back and made into tiny mobiles. Keep going.
It's really fun to see all of your beautiful pieces in one video! Thank you for showing the stack of backgrounds that didn't make the cut. It's makes me feel a lot better about my stack of castoffs 😊The one at 11:11 is stunning! I hope you finish it!
Hi Bettina, I am halfway through your video and absolutely love your work. 💜💙💚💛🧡Alcohol inks look fantastic, but I love your water colour doodles and this is what interests me the most, so I decided to gather the supplies and follow some of your videos and see where it will take me. So inspiring, so beautiful! Thank you very much for sharing! 😍
Thanks for taking the time to do this! Loved the shell painting and hate that you can't do more inks. You have been so inspiring to me. I keep working on improving my artwork and wish I could make videos like yours but enjoy watching your videos
I'm so glad I saw this video. You do the type of art I absolutely LOVE. PLEASE, 🙏 do videos on your alcohol ink techniques, I have never seen the two art techniques combined. You are definitely added to my list of artists I will follow and I would like to see you do all of your art interests.
Awesome! I will try to make more Alcohol ink art and record myself if that's what you all want to see. It probably won't be with doodles, because as I mentioned I don't like covering up the pretty ai background. I wish there was more time and $ to explore all of it! I really want to explore encaustic art, too!
Nice to listen and watch whilst I was working from home. I found it interesting to hear how you related to each peice! Thank you for an entertaining yet honest video ❤
Sat watching this video!! I’m laughing to myself as I listen. 😂😂 I am the same. Nothing goes in the bin🤣 need to start selling things too🥰 I love alcohol inks too
Thank you so much Bettina I really really enjoyed looking at all your artwork and I love ❤️ ❤❤ it all. And I must say that you are addicted to alcohol inks. I really really think that you should think about selling some of your artwork, but only if you feel comfortable with selling it. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Ohhhhh, this was. TRUE delight drooling over your projects!!! I’m glad to hear you lose focus or interest on projects, as do I and I wonder if I should continue without any more love for the journey. I’m going to say it’s ok to pause or stop since you do! You are AWESOME ! Loooove neurographics designs.
Glad you enjoyed it! And yes, it is absolutely OK to pause and come back to it, or not! I think that is why I have been shying away from working on canvas, because I tend to abandon my work, and move on to different things, and canvases just take up too much space, haha!
@@_bettina_fernandez_ I ordered a canvas (almost like painter’s dropcloth) apron from Amazon for $10. My big plan is to paint on it with my 2 young grand daughters and give it to their Mama for a gift.
I enjoyed this video 🥰 I do enjoy seeing how you work with the inks. Your work is beautiful and inspiring. I do know how hard it is to part with your art work but the idea of stickers and magnet is a wonderful idea. I was putting together some doodle books while listening to you but I kept getting interrupted having to stop and look at your amazing art work 😉 Have a wonderful day!!
I loved the video!!!! Thank you for sharing. To me art is a process, that’s the part I love. It is therapeutic & brings me joy. I so relate to your comments about getting past the fear of starting. I’m having trouble with that right now and your videos so inspire me !!! It’s so fun to see our process & progress as we do more art & practice. Also how we need to try new things, whether it’s different colors or medium. Love it all! Can’t wait to see what’s next. Love all your ideas too! The magnets & push pins.
I loved the ones at the end, when you opened up the booklet of pages, and showed the last couple blue/green and water wave etc. gorgeous! I made a lot that is taking up too much room as well. i have thought of building a big bonfire out back with them. But really, i will more than likely just paint over them. I built wooden frames and all that so a lot of work involved. It is to some people, pointless i guess, but if we like doing it, that's enough reason. good luck!
I have just purchased a full set of alcohol marker. I was excited about getting them, and when I got them, I was overwhelmed. What to do, what to do, oh God, they scared me to death, lol. Just now, as I watched the video of the compilation of Art for 2023, with your beautiful artwork, the segment with alcohol markers. I got excited all over again . Please include these (if you can), I would love to see you creating with this medium. There is so much to learn here. On a side note , if you can bear to part with the magnets and push pins (have you thought about jewelry, they would ake great earrings, etc). You really should offer them for sale, I am sure there is a market for them. Also, on the cut-up bits, have you considered trying Mosaics? There are some beautiful ones out there. You wouldn't have to change your style, as your style could translate well to any medium.
“I have a problem…”. This statement made me laugh and and totally relate! I haven’t used my alcohol inks in years…I need to pull them out from storage and play with them again. Thanks for sharing all of your beautiful artwork!
I love your artwork and enjoy your videos immensely. The doodles are always inspiring and I also really love your alcohol ink pieces. They would make beautiful bookmarks, if you cut them into rectangles. You could mount them on card stock for durability. Just an idea - I would think you could sell them pretty easily. I enjoy your way with color and design, and I also love your sense of humor and your soothing voice, which I can listen to for hours. Looking forward to creating art with you in 2024!
I like to buy cheap plastic outlet covers and put alcohol ink on them. Then you get to see them all the time. Looking at the large beauties you were showing (just alcohol ink) I kept thinking...these should be framed. Just beautiful!
Thank you for your let us see all your lovely artworks! It is so inspire 😍 I can not tell what I love most, everything is so beautiful and inspire. I could see some of your art as wrapping paper or printed on silk. Your work is amazing! 😍🤩❤️
Thank you! I admire your creations! I genuinely value the effort you put into revealing the behind-the-scenes process. Witnessing the transformation through your experiments is truly enlightening.
I know right? It's always super interesting to me which videos do well, and which don't. The only time I have dabbled with alcohol ink on canvas, we're the ones I showed in the video. Does the gel medium work well for the AI to flow? I do want to bring them on a canvas, so I will have to experiment. Thank you for your ideas!
@@_bettina_fernandez_ The acrylic medium (clear if over collage) creates the non-porous surface and if you use a glossy medium I think that does help them flow better, but I have also had good luck with matte medium, just a different look. And I do really like using the copic refills rather than Tim Holtz, they don't seem as "sticky"? Sometimes I dilute them w/alcohol and spray them...soooooo much fun!
Wow! You are so productive and inspirational!! Love your work!!! I am learning doodling with your videos. Would really appreciate if you show as how you work with alcohol Inc.
New subscriber here. You definitely are a kindred spirit. In all my different mediums of art, usually pile up. I used to rubber stamp cards with the intention of sending to people...Not! During COVID I found my mother's watercolor supplies. I love funky unique art but find that I am a type AAAAA+++ person. I have tried flowers, oceans, forests etc. they are ok but I do love your style of art. Thank you for tons of inspiration and for being raw and honest that you have piles of unfinished or doesn't strike your fancy work. I bought a sketchbook and was afraid to do the first page because what if it wasn't perfect or presentable...did I mention type A personality! I usually do card size piece of art and give to friends to put in frames. I just don't know if they like my/ our unique concept s. So, thank you for confirming my inner soul ... To just enjoy creating. Thank you for commenting about too must pressure on ourselves. Nice to know we are not alone. Sorry for the long art therapy cleansing my soul but bless you and thanks for inspiring me!!!! Donna.
Thank you so much Donna! I'm so happy to hear you're creating! I've always felt that art had to be perfect, because when you see a finished piece, it looks perfect, especially realism. What I didn't understand until I started getting back into it was, that it takes layers and stages of ugliness and disconnect and wanting to give up and throw it away 😆 before realizing that it will all come together somehow in the end. I love abstract art because I feel that I can't mess it up. If I ever were to draw something else, I think it would be nature related, plants foliage, things like that, because that also doesn't have to be perfect, if that makes sense. I'm so happy you found me and connected with my art and my process! I hope you'll find lots of inspiration! ❤️💕
I greatly enjoyed this video, Bettina, and very much appreciate all your effort in putting it together 😊 I adore your creative style, in all its forms, and am inspired by your beautiful artwork 🥰 Love the magnets and coasters and your idea to turn the “flowers” into stickers! I would love to cover a water bottle with them 😃 ( my daughter creates epoxy tumblers 😁) I enjoy rewatching your videos, but also really look forward to what you’ll create and share with us in 2024. Take care and God Bless ♥️ - Kim from Alaska 😊
I just discovered you with this year-end video, and I'm wowed by the wealth of doodle-pattern ideas! I will definitely be going through your 2023 playlist. And I loved the boot!!
Absolutely loved this video so much ! One of the viewers commented that she has tears of joy when she sees your art work….and I can fully understand and appreciate what she means, as I, too, am also often moved by the visual wowsomeness ( just made that word up but it seems to sum up how I feel !! ). I didn’t realise about the low viewings on the alcohol ink videos…..that’s such a shame , as I really loved them !! I do understand what you say about YT algorithms and suchlike…..so maybe you have to think of a way around the titles of the videos so that YT does not realise that it is going to be a video with alcohol inks ? 🤪🤪🤪🧐🧐🧐 I am going to go back and rewatch your videos with the alcohol inks and also there are many more of your videos to revisit from earlier in the year, too. Thank you once again, Bettina, for this fab video and all the work that you have put into it. An idea to use the collection of cut up pieces….how about making a mosaic with the different pieces ? You are such a huge inspiration and you have become one of my absolute favourite artists here on YT. With very best wishes for 2024, Sheila (UK).
what an amazing video, and you were just so honest. The inks are stunningly beautiful! The cuttings would make the most fabulous mosaics!!! Your work is simply wonderful!!
About 12 minutes in your video, I had to pause this and ask, my God woman - why are you not doing Illustration work? You seriously underestimate your ability? Edits to say, in your alcohol ink Art pieces should print them off and make name some serious profits? Love, LOVE your style and creations there. It is very inspiring for a new person who is also interested in alcohol inks. ❤❤❤
I love the alcohol ink paintings (especially the palest ones and those with doodling), but I don't want to buy a whole new kind of supplies, so I'm keener on the watercolour and doodling videos. If I invest in alcohol ink at some point, I'll be back to follow those videos, because they are gorgeous.
Thanks for the interest! I'm thinking of making a second channel doing more alcohol ink projects and all the other stuff that I do behind the scenes. Because alcohol ink projects usually get buried here with all the watercolor I do. If and when that happens, I will of course mention it on my channel here 😊
You really should start selling. I know its scary, but what have you to lose? Really? Dont be put off it moves slowly, just keep going...after all you cant store it for the rest of your life, so even if its not a business its still good to sell off to make space. It gives confidence and also a little cash for a coffee at least. Go for it you wonderful Artist 🎨 ❤
Please do include inks when possible. You don't have a problem. I see others who use inks with watercolor and of course there is the line artwork with inks that is beautiful.
8 months since you posted this - wow. You should exhibit these or get yourself into an artists co-op so people can buy them. New subscriber, very inspirational.
I love all of your work. Definitely want to see more alcohol inks works. You need an Etsy shop. I’d would buy those squares you’ve punched out. Hopefully I can afford one of your art works. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.❤

I would love to see more alcohol ink pieces please ❤
“I have a problem…”. This statement made me laugh and and totally relate! I haven’t used my alcohol inks in years…I need to pull them out from storage and play with them again. Thanks for sharing all of your beautiful artwork!
😆💕
I love your artwork and enjoy your videos immensely. The doodles are always inspiring and I also really love your alcohol ink pieces. They would make beautiful bookmarks, if you cut them into rectangles. You could mount them on card stock for durability. Just an idea - I would think you could sell them pretty easily. I enjoy your way with color and design, and I also love your sense of humor and your soothing voice, which I can listen to for hours. Looking forward to creating art with you in 2024!
Would really love to see more of your alcohol ink creations. Please consider more videos please!
Beautiful! ❤your art
Thank you 😊💕
❤❤❤❣ Thanks for sharing!!!
The alcohol ink is my favorite is the most interesting work u have
I don’t understand why u are not full on … yes is beautiful
I like to buy cheap plastic outlet covers and put alcohol ink on them. Then you get to see them all the time. Looking at the large beauties you were showing (just alcohol ink) I kept thinking...these should be framed. Just beautiful!
Ooh, I haven't even thought of outlet covers! I'm currently working on Christmas baubles and it's so much fun! I'm loving how they're turning out 😍
I just found your channel and I love your sense of humour! And your art is so mesmerizing :D
Oh, wow! Thank you so much for the super sticker Sharon! I really appreciate it and I'm so happy to hear you enjoy my videos! Much love 💕🙏🏻
I loved your video so real😊 I have so many items I just don't know what to do with. I also love alcohol inks.
I just started Niro art
I love this...seeing your "evolution" over the year. I'm surprised that the alcohol ink videos didn't go well. I LOVE them too!
I love your art. Just an idea with all the shapes and cutouts make a mosaic. I can see a beautiful one made out of your art.
Thank you 🫶🏻 And yes, definitely a mosaic piece! ❤️
Love your work! Thanks for sharing! I had to laugh at all your "little" embellishments. Great idea! You are an inspiration!
Thank you for sharing all of them 😊
I greatly enjoyed this video, Bettina, and very much appreciate all your effort in putting it together 😊
I adore your creative style, in all its forms, and am inspired by your beautiful artwork 🥰
Love the magnets and coasters and your idea to turn the “flowers” into stickers! I would love to cover a water bottle with them 😃 ( my daughter creates epoxy tumblers 😁)
I enjoy rewatching your videos, but also really look forward to what you’ll create and share with us in 2024.
Take care and God Bless ♥️
- Kim from Alaska 😊
I just recently tunned into your channel thank you for sharing
Thank you and I'm so glad you found me 🫶🏻💕
I have just found a way to be able to layer watercolor and acrylic while preserving the underlayers using hairspray on 98 lb mix media paper.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing!
I am going to go back and rewatch your videos with the alcohol inks and also there are many more of your videos to revisit from earlier in the year, too.
Thank you once again, Bettina, for this fab video and all the work that you have put into it.
An idea to use the collection of cut up pieces….how about making a mosaic with the different pieces ?
You are such a huge inspiration and you have become one of my absolute favourite artists here on YT.
With very best wishes for 2024, Sheila (UK).
how to use the little square? Earrings, necklaces, pins.
what an amazing video, and you were just so honest. The inks are stunningly beautiful! The cuttings would make the most fabulous mosaics!!! Your work is simply wonderful!!
You're not alone, Your Art Spirit,me too, don't give up, 🙏🎉
About 12 minutes in your video, I had to pause this and ask, my God woman - why are you not doing Illustration work? You seriously underestimate your ability?
Edits to say, in your alcohol ink Art pieces should print them off and make name some serious profits?
Love, LOVE your style and creations there. It is very inspiring for a new person who is also interested in alcohol inks.
❤❤❤
I love the alcohol ink paintings (especially the palest ones and those with doodling), but I don't want to buy a whole new kind of supplies, so I'm keener on the watercolour and doodling videos. If I invest in alcohol ink at some point, I'll be back to follow those videos, because they are gorgeous.
10:33 There's a huge pearly clam waiting to come out.
I would buy your magnets! How do I do that?
Oh my gosh Alcohol inks are so beautiful, please send me a how to.
Those little pieces could be used to create a mosaic piece
How did you get the perfect little squares cut out?
Ooh, you don't want to know 😆 hours of cutting them by hand 🙈
love your creativity. Please do some videos with alcohol ink Cheers from Julie

I think you can open a "shop"
And sell the christmas tags.
I love the one you said makes no sense, it looks like a cornucopia or a cocoon.
I have just subscribed and would like to see how you do alcohol inks.
Thanks for the interest! I'm thinking of making a second channel doing more alcohol ink projects and all the other stuff that I do behind the scenes. Because alcohol ink projects usually get buried here with all the watercolor I do. If and when that happens, I will of course mention it on my channel here 😊
Why don´t you use those scaps to create pictures like mosaic tiles?
You really should start selling. I know its scary, but what have you to lose? Really? Dont be put off it moves slowly, just keep going...after all you cant store it for the rest of your life, so even if its not a business its still good to sell off to make space. It gives confidence and also a little cash for a coffee at least. Go for it you wonderful Artist 🎨 ❤
Regarding the ink art,
I agree yt is not nice
if you move out of your lane.
However, new "lanes"/ trends are created every day
You could definitely sell your artwork.
