Thanks a lot I appreciate that again! I will have to look into it maybe when I open the website I will look into doing that! I might do some research right now!
I've had this one in my Etsy cart for a little while, great to see it reviewed by Whitetail Survival. Now I do wish it had a pop tab lid just 'cuz my arthritic little lady hands can't manage the Shelby anymore, so I'll be opening mine with a Zyliss!! This a good value kit shipped free. I plan to add a compass and adjust the fishing kit for panfish & trout---maybe fit in some repair gear too as needle & thread, tape and zip ties. Possibly a Vic Classic jammed in there somewhere. Should be a fun one to modify. Thanks WS!
No problem I ordered some stuff to make some custom can kits like this one just a little wider and taller when I open the website up I’m going to sell them as me and someone discussed in acouple other comments. I figured I could take this can and take custom orders of stuff that I list on the website that will fit it should be pretty cool
Good to see you getting back to kits. Reminds me of the old You CAN survive kit. First off they should have a pull top for a smooth edge. The foil caught on a jagged edge from the p-38. The can opener is a dumb idea. What if the plastic lid fails and you lose the can opener? Better hope you have another opener. The tea is good. Did really see anything else wrong with a kit except a missing items
Yea I just did the pocket shot survival kit a few days ago and then I went over the pocket shot and accessories it’s a fun little kit but this one is definitely cool and different!
Pretty good little kit for the price. Can makes a usable container for boiling water most kits lack. It would have a longer shelf life with foil packet tea bags and bullion. Just a side note, I like to keep survival gear in sealed containers separate from 1st aid. Why open the can for a band-aid.
Yes I like the way the kit is made plus having the lid is nice so the stuff is not just falling out. I would toss an O2 absorber in each one and if sealed up correctly you should never have an issue with the anything going bad for a good number of years
Yea your right that would be pretty awesome. I would be curious if there is anything like that out there. I would love to make it but I don’t have any idea where to start I do like the idea of building a kit custom tailored to each person it might not be a bad idea for a future website!
@@dustin7562 yea that’s true I would also toss in an O2 absorber I just ordered 20 cans to try to make a few kits like this and if they work good maybe I will sell acouple!
@@whitetailsurvival2430 Awesome yeah I always throw the oxygen absorbers in my kits just in case helps keep the moisture off the Ferro rods and I use one of the Mag bar Ferro rods
Another cool video, decent kit though the salmon kit would never be used as that's an elite sport here and would cost a fortune to participate. Love the tea, hate coffee. Peace from Scotland
Some tea is good and some coffee is good I drink both on a regular basis 😃 I do think the salmon rig in here would work great as a catfish rig also the large hook set up the way it is would be great for that also!
Nice can. I like that it comes with a lid.
Yes me too I do like that you can seal the kit back up after you use it!
You can get cans and a sealer dirt cheap and make all the custom kits you want. I prefer a soup can size.
Another excellent presentation

Dang, that's a lot of good stuff . Very cool kit
Yea especially for the price it was like 25 bucks or something it isn’t bad at all and definitely a different style of kit for sure

Always found these sardine/ Salmon kits cool wish there was a site where you could build your own and they seal it for you.

I'd definitely buy one would definitely make it waterproof and make the bouillon cubes and any other food items fresh longer

cool
Yea it seemed like a cool kit to go over there’s a lot of neat stuff in it
Yeah, you really don’t want to be messing around opening that in an emergency
Yes should probably go and open it before the use
