You most likely figured it out by now, but I would be looking into the key ignition switch being worn out. I have seen this issue happening to others, and the fix was a new ignition switch. Around $30 on eBay. Had a similar issue with my head light switch. I would be driving and my left or right headlight would just turn off. Eventually, both would stop working while driving, unless I rode with my bright lights on. Intermittent issue in the steering column you may experience soon as well.
Thanks a lot! I did replace the ignition switch which helped out the intermittent power to the gages. I ended up replacing the clutch interlock switch under the clutch pedal as well. It starts now. 🫡
Been having this problem with the headlight coming on randomly, replaced the high low turn signle and the back side of the ignition switch which was real bad off, now the light comes on even worse now...going to put a kill switch on the battery so I do not have to jump it every morning. then headlight comes on in the middle of the night when it is cold outside even though everything is turn off....pulled all the relays out and the headlight was still on. I have no idea what is going on with this, all the wires look good

Curious to know what did you find out was the problem? I am currently having this issue and NO mine is not the battery or ignition switch.

You do know you got to push the clutch in the start it right
