I've mained EO since the start and I just tell people that I'm a coffee enjoyer. I love just always having a button to press, and her midrange abilities lets you weave in and out of melee whenever you need to.
I will say though, hype management and managing dom set uptime in inferno is extremely challenging. It made me really think about my timings and just exactly how challenging soulfist can be.
I been thinking about running it for my first inferno clear!
i actually scrapped my soulfist a week ago. i don't personally like playing her, and the GL i made instead is so much more fun for me. but we all like diffrent classes. i actually like going fast as well, running a tai-scrapper as my main, and the speed is so fun, but soulfist just felt off to me. and yes i did build her, but still unhappy with her.
i love soulfist, made one thinking i wouldnt like it that much, my mains are wardancer n guns, so i like spamming stuff
and soulfist was just what i wanted to play, i have no issues wit mana like wardancer or 2 billion animations like my guns, it just feels great to play, love it
With the last power pass & boost event I made an EO Soulfist alt out of the blue, was actually planning on another class. Now she's at 1450 with full dominion set, important tripods at lv 4-5 (lv 5 bought & library transferred, lv 4 dropped and added with bound sage powder), 19 weapon thanks to free honing stones and all lv 7 CD gems. She's at a satisfying point and feels really fluent and I enjoy the midrange-range-melee combat skill variation. Also "playing the hero" with Purify in G1 Valtan xD

Right now I can buy 20 legendary engravings for both her class engravings for the cost of 2 surge books for my main deathblade. Maybe I should build a soulfist or other cheap class as my first endgame class to farm easier

Been playing sf since release but I played RS all the way till 1415 and then made the swap. EO is definitely really fun and I plan to have both builds at the endgame
Personaly I tried Soulfist, but outside of chaos dungeons I didn't really enjoyed that class and she ended like Bard and Berzerk before: I deleted it. I tend more and more playing only 4-5 classes (each 2 chars) which I absolutely like, rather than having every class in my roster. Don't get me wrong, I tested all classes, but only a few really stand out to me: Gravity Training Destroyer, Support Paladin, Pistoleer Deadeye and Shock Scrapper. I know, those classes are easy at their core (easy to pick up), but I find it more fun to have "easier" classes so I can focus more on bosses or "extra jobs" during raids, others won't do: Making calls, scout, intervene when something went wrong etc.

I agree with legion commanders feeling like new content on alts. Vykas especially felt so different when my artillerist did it vs the countless times I did it on bard.

Even tho I just got to Feiton with my EO SF I'm thoroughly enjoying her. Thanks for the great vid! She is definitely my new main and makes you feel a lil special since there arent alot of soulfists in NA.
Vykas gate 3 EO Hype Management. Hype 3 at start of fight. Hype 3 right after typing test recover during throne. Hype 2 into stagger check and back into normal management. Try to have Hype 3 for tentacles but Splendid Flash Bomb makes this less important. You should be about 1/4 -1/3 into hype 2 going into final phase.
100% agree. Alt's are amazing, doing content again with them is completelly different. Only those who play an alt for gold are the ones who get burned or bored.
EO soulfist one of my main 6, and agree in full! Super fun, super engaging, and cool strategic opportunity.
Also, only one of her 5 dps skills are Backattack, so very free to move around map and boss!

I was already on my way to transitioning my main to soulfist. Currently my zerker is highest ilvl at 1460, now soulfist to 1420 and just built my relic set. It feels soooo good, I cannot wait for dominion fang and 1445+ on her

I remember that video you made about building alts and it was the best advice I’ve ever gotten. Building alts made the game so much more fun and even though it cost me 450+ pheons it was worth it

Personally i like Soulfist a lot; It was my first character but i ended up swapping main to a scrapper. Currently my Scrapper feels really good to play and i love it, but my Soulfist has always been one of my favorite classes, so currently im pushing it as high as my main so i can enjoy playing them both

Don’t sleep on PS shadow hunter. It’s fast paced and uses swiftness. You also have 8 skills all the time instead of 6 with demon form. It’s a different game when the normal skills actually do damage and aren’t just meter generators. The skills you swap the identity generators for are also more fun to use. Try it out!!
I used to have this on my SH alt, I love the gameplay but eventually switched back to DI and the only reason is exclusively for the heals when you transform.
Funny I powered passed a Soul Fist and hated so purchased a Scrapper power pass and love it.... consider it to be my new main over Striker.
honestly i would play more character but the 6 limit for gold rewards makes me lose motivation doing the extra work..

It’s funny watching your channel (and stream) because we seem to have a lot in common i main control Glavier I have since release and I played Soulfist since early on I love swiftness so most my toons are swiftness for the same reasons you like it I don’t care about meta shit but sadly the gate keepers do I have been dropped from parties but oh well at the end of the day we like what we like
This is why I made a static group. One of the static is switching his main to arcana it is much easier to main your preferred class if you have a static. Granted he is "good" at the game so none of us care

I pretty much only play the kung fu class from the start, but looking at a few vids I made my first gunner class and I am loving it. Hawkeye/Sharpshooter is a really fun class to play, you should give it a try .

I deleted mine back when we first started. it was my 3rd alt at tier 1 and I hated her chaos dungeon skills . I main a GS and a deadgeye so am not complaining about pressing buttons ;)
I love playing destroyer man, I know people think it is a braindead class but man it is so much fun past valtan, I agree that it is a braindead class up to there, but it can not be as well, taunt is very powerful and gives a 3 second window where the boss does absolutely nothing, opposite to most of the classes, when the boss corner you is a dream coming true, you create the perfect opportunity to back attackers and still get the mvp, and one last but veeeeeeeeeeery important thing, I just hit for 9 digits yesterday xD, I believe it is not a very common thing especialy at my lvl, 1477.5 with lvl 7 gems.
I regret powerpassing a soulfist. It's fun at first, before you realize that if you fuck up hype 3 you do no damage whatsoever. Yes, this is at 1370 with only 333 engravings, but it feels so underwhelming in the damage department and I am not willing to waste resources/mats to see how it is at 1445. Also it's one of my "chaos/lopang/boss rush" fire and forget alts now so she still has some uses, but I will probably never push her beyond 1370.
soulfist for sure is one of the classes that need actual work and not one of those where you can kinda cheapo out and still run everything doing decent damage, I think unless you like the concept and what the class can theoretically do and want to push to Legion Raid content some if not most classes aren't really worth having at all, since they only start to shine on 4x3 or even 5x3 engravings and e.g. need a like 1500 spec or sth to pretty much start working at all.
Soulfist is a great example of a class that requires you to do a lot extra, depending on rune, gear, stat, engraving choices etc can add a lot of layers of complexity that honestly in a lot of situations will result in you dong 0 damage. As you said, if you do it all correct its good damage, but it's hard to do everything right all the time, especially when you're constantly knocked down or stopping fighting to do some mechanic. Also, nobody plays your class, so good luck finding class engravings you need when you hit relic gear, because they're either 200k gold or not even available.
As a soulfist main from the start, I have seen a lot of new soulfist players coming in. It's a challenging class to play, but incredibly fun! Quit being a Debbie downer, we need more soulfist so good class engravings aren't hard to come by.

But I will say soulfist doesn't scale hard in damage until they get their relic gear. It's not a class you can expect to park at 1370 and be satisfied with.

He certainly miss out on having a lot of fun with gravity training Destroyer: Also with Destroyer there are no downtimes (yes, slower than speedheavy classes), an easy rotation and the sheer joy, ignoring mechanics while smashing the bosses heads. Only downsides for me are the slow dash and 2 animation locks.
If you're auto attacking a lot with Gravity Training you're doing it wrong. Minus bonk bonk mode of course.
NA SF in general is not that good unless you want to invest time and gold on her. Its just don't have that the same affect the korean version have.
Did you try robust spirit? I have a 1340 alt soulfist, but she’s RS and just curious how much better she would feel as EO. She’s not in my main 6 so I haven’t put much into her. Even just the feedback from her attacks feel lackluster.
i have an EO soulfist at 1445 as an alt. She used to be RS. While RS feels nice because you go straight to Hype 3 and the spirit bomb makes tons of damage, I hated the wait time in between hypes. EO is way better in my opinion, fas paced, never run out of energy. Sure the numbers may be a bit smaller than RS but the constant attacking and movement make the class one of my favorites (I main deathblade at 1480)
RS is very clunky earlier in the game, main reason why most people hate on it without ever build it properly. You will need like 1600 spec end game for it to pop off but it will def be worth the effort. RS played right outperform EO in raids since quick short bursts of dmg are usually favored.
I went RS as my main...feels bad to even consider switching over accessories at this point lol
I love my EO Soulfist she is only at 1370 right now, will probably be the third alt I push to 1415. If you love spamming abilities you should try swift reflux sorceress (current main) it's insanely spammy especially when you have full nightmare.
Hey I made s soulfist at the recent event and I'M trying to figure out what's the optimally skills and build to do she's 1370 and I planning to barke her for a while at 1370 so can u give me any advice ?

I started the game with a Soulfist and quickly switched mains as soon as I finished MSQ and used my free powerpass.
Soulfist is very hard to play and landing her Spirit Bomb is incredibly tough and its true when you said Soulfist is a bad alt. That's why I left it at 1370 to be my lopang alt.
Or or. Just hear me out...play robust and hit vykas so hard with a spirit bomb that people will think it's a sidereal being activated.
EO is the easiest dps class in Lost Ark right now. All you have to do is press z 3 times + self buff x2 + pummel every 50 second, there's no dps cycle
If the class was that easy to dps with, I’m sure more than 3% of players in NA would be playing her. In my opinion she is the most intricate class besides arcanist when it comes to identity skills. As a Soulfist you have to be a master of the raid by always knowing what mech is coming and recognizing burst patterns. Raid boss’s in the late game are on average on targetable for 5-6 seconds for they move/fly or do some general mech and whether or not your timing is good in burst windows will ultimately be where your damage ceiling lies assuming you have your full damage rotation down timing is what separates a good and a great sf

TBH sort of similar with timings, but its difficult to pin point in words why i feel like they are still really different
Soulfist is my first alt....and now it is my lowest item level class as my 8th alt and I will already make a painter a core 6 of my "mains". But, this kind of video peaks my interest as my soulfist will be at T3 in a few weeks (with no effort).
Don't make a soulfist unless you are the type of person that likes failing honing.

how about your gems and tripods? i realize lately that gems and tripods plays a bigger role than the engravings.
Soul Fists are basically wet noodles until relic gear. Also being reverse heavenly retardation doesn’t help either.

I have a love hate relationship with her. I’m constantly changing up my skills rotation and tripods. I enjoy it but sometimes I’m frustrated if I miss time something with her. She sucks t1/t3 but once u get 1370 she really opens up

There is no why YOU should do this do that, if you enjoy something you have the rest is not important.
Energy overflow soulfist is good, however you might aswell try scrapper taijitsu which is 2x better. I prefer robust energy because at higher levels she can do more dps. Tai scrapper is just way better. Also these videos are useless without any gameplay, build, or anything to base your opinon you just talk about it for like 9 minutes with hardly any detail
I'm getting my TA scrapper up to T3, and keep thinking its overpowered. I'm surprised when the scrapper is not MVP.

@@caseyddr As a soul fist main I know this isn’t true. 1800+ hours of gameplay and I may have done 2-3 total guardian raids with another Soul Fist. It’s like being a unicorn wandering in a desert saying they are faster than the other unicorns they meet when you’ve seen only one other unicorn. XD

If you see 1 soul fist every 10,000 raids you can’t say you beat them consistently. EO soul fists don’t need copium when you beat out igniter sorcs 90% of the time.
