And the best part is: With the new crafters you can actually break down incoming diamond blocks directly into diamonds so you dont even need to manually restock the reward system, people playing the game already do that for you
there’s a little bug, the player can just afk at one spot and collect as many items as they want while the tnt hasn’t been pulled in, and just pull all in when 5 mins hit
The way you built it, the player can simply not move and collect a bunch of gems and even tnt, then once they move everything would get counted and they’d most likely have gotten a super high score
Don't teach Joel Smallishbeans about this or he'll absolutely lose it, who knew all it took to make money using honey was to just make a glorified slot machine.
I have an idea for a mini game. I call it, “Bombs Away!” The game is played with 2 players, one will build a structure with sand and wood slabs (to hold the sand up), and put themselves somewhere in the structure. The other player will have a standard obsidian TNT cannon away from the structure. They’ll have to set the amount of ticks and TNT just right, because only get 3 shots of TNT. When the player who built the structure is blown up, the shooter will receive 1 point. The roles will switch back and forth between rounds, and the first person to score 5 points, wins.
I feel like one thing that could be an issue, if you just don't move you'll pick up a bunch of gems. You'll also pick up TNT, but If you pick up a ton of gems and they all get counted, it doesn't matter if you lose your lives. You could probably add a circuit to fix that though. (Sorry if this wasn't explained well)
Gerg, you could just make a long pallette of redstone thats 14 blocks long, thatway it will send a signal to the coresponding pressure plate, but since it's 14 and not 15 it will also power the blocks on the side, then hook it up to a line of observers which converts it to a pulse. You DON'T NEED double piston extenders, just give the sticky piston a one tick pulse and that does the job!
That is actually how I wired the presure plate example in the video, I did try to give them the 3 wide platform via 14 signal strength. However, this just caused even more glitches, so i reduced it. You definitely need a double piston extender because a single piston means blocks get stuck on the edge of the retracted stairs
@@_gerg what i mean is thay you give the sticky piston a 1 tick pulse so it pushes the stair in place, and instantly retracts it's arm (which is what it gets stuck on). And observers being observers will detect when you step of the preassure plate and give it another pulse, extending and retracting in only 2 ticks.
0:32 I did that in a world with friends but it was infinite becouse the items where just from a bamboo farm above. I just wanted an item display like that.
You should add ‘payments’ and rewards to all of your minigame island things to make it more fun, then add a way for people to brag about their fortune in your discord (by making it so they need to be in survival to get the things in discord) and to make a fun competition for your community
Hey Gerg could you make a mini game where you hit magmas with a mace that has wind charge III. And magma cubes for the ground so they take damage when there on the ground. See who can stay up for the longest!
I have a neat game idea, I call it BLOODBATH (edgy name i know). There is a giant quartz arena (add blood to be a cool kid), with mob spawners and chests. The mob spawners causes the choas, they will just spawn hostile mobs. Bloodbath is a wave-based game, with each wave getting harder and longer as time goes on. At the end of each wave, there will be a prize! (Either loot, weapons, or armor) You can leave any time you want btw.
4:26 just tell the player it's designed to be slow to simulate the collection platform being in honey That's a little Mojang trick called "tell them the bug is a feature"
You could use hoppers instead of stairs too, this would make it so you could use the pressure plates and also solve the bug of going afk then banking all the rewards at the end. The only downside is really the esthetiques.
You're probably a Bedrock player; on Java, we can't move hoppers. Also, if you use hoppers without the double piston extender, the tiny overlap between the sliding items and the hoppers under the slime would be enough for the item to be collected.
if you hook the pressure plates up to a pulse extender you can limit how fast the piston extenders recieve inputs. Not sure about tileable pulse extender designs though...
You could still use a sort of pressure plate input, just one on either side. When you step on it, it sends a trigger and also starts a clock, where if you're still on it when the clock pulses, it sends the next trigger.
Can you maybe use a circuit that blocks your input for a while since you gave the last input, just as long as the piston contraption needs. You just have to make sure, that if you step on the pressure plate very briefly, that the off signal is still accepted afterwards.
I dont know if I'm the first person to say this but if because like you said it doesn't get collected until the stair moves the player can just hold still wait until one stair block has a bunch if not at least 20 points of blocks even if that means tnt and then collected them all im definitely not a mumbo jumbo buy maybe you could add a penalty for missing emerald blocks? Idk but love your vids another great video on the beauty of capitalism
It might be possible to implement the pressure plate inputs by adding a pulse extender so the input signals that the piston extenders receive don't change quite as many times.
I'm not a redstone genius but I have an idea. Why not have pressure plates on top of dispensers that shoot out items (dirt or something you have an abundance of) on top of trip wires to send a signal. I used a similar system before with one of my redstone builds in the past I hope that mechanic still works in game it's been a few years so I hope an update didn't change that
I wonder if you could use a couple of single tick repeaters to buffer inputs, so that you could spam a little and just slow the signal down enough that multiple presses register
now idk if it rlly works, but instead of the double piston extenders, you could make a 1 block gap for the items to fall without being affected by any block underneath it because there is no block underneath it
You could have a gap instead of the pistons and stairs, but the way I picture what you described, the game would be gone. Like, you'd just be watching the items drop down a gap.
You can make tiled observer lines 3x faster by alternating observer into solid block into note block into observer etc... I would have called it golden shower btw.
If you're referring to the observers in the double piston extenders, those have to introduce the right amount of delay for the circuit to do its job. I don't think Gerg wired anything over a long distance using observers in this video.

You don't even need to use double piston extenders for the stairs, just an observer pulse instead of a constant redstone input on the pistons.
" Now the signal is on, while the stairs are retracted, and off when the stairs are re-re *not* tracted-d *they're pushed out.* "

love how gerg completely ignored the fact he could just 1-tick the piston and not need a double extender.
The problem is not just the extended piston head, but also the edge of the stairs. The double piston extender is necessary as long as you use stairs.
It might be possible to implement the pressure plate inputs by adding a pulse extender so the input signals that the piston extenders receive don't change quite as many times.
Also, another problem with the pressure plates is, in the case of a TNT, you could just step off
