This video really motivated me to get started. I am 17 years old, my weight is 96 kg (211lb) and my height is around 166cm (5'4). But sometimes I'm so afraid of not getting any result from the jump rope that I do.
As long as you keep doing it, you will get results. No way can a body do this kind of workout consistently and have nothing to show for it. I'm just starting, not to lose weight, but to fend off a sedentary lifestyle. Even if all I get is the endorphins from exercise, my face will show more happiness. Do the thing.
Thank you so much for the work you guys do. Jumping rope has changed my life. I have been jumping rope consistently since the beginning of the year at first I did 5 times a week using the 30 min workouts. It was no surprise I my legs gave in about 2 weeks in. I had extreme shin splits, I took a break for a day or 2 and came back to do 3 times a week. I still felt pain but endured until I got into it again. This week I started using a heavy rope, it's about 2.5 lbs and boy oh boy my arms were on fire. It's the challenge I need because I was getting too comfortable with regular rope.
I started jumping rope with shoes off, and its helping me to go for 150-200 jumps without getting tangled, where as with shoes I average out at around 50-60 jumps before getting tangled
Whoooohoooo! Started 2 weeks ago after watching your videos. Rain, snow, sun I had it all, but I love this as an outdoor routine. Coming from a cancerjourney, this really helps me on my way to a life after cancer. Thank you guys! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

My plan was to buy the get strong set along with a 1/2# rope with intention the intention to minimize equipment purchase. Is this a good idea? I might be overthinking the whole thing but I appreciate any feedback.
Just ordered my first crossrope! I've been using a high-end rope, but I'm tired of the PVC coated metal cable tangling and tripping me up when trying to do tricks. I can't wait to try these!
@@strixt I'm mixed on them. The quality and material is great. It never gets tangled up when doing cross-overs and stuff like my other one does. I'm mostly unhappy with the lengths and inability to make any sort of micro adjustments (for example cutting the cable to the correct length like most others can do). I got the length recommended for my height which was WAY too long to jump well with. I traded it in for one size smaller, which is workable but still not quite right. For the price of these things they really need to work in a way to adjust the length for a more accurate fit. It's a shame they don't because it's a great rope otherwise.
@@lonewolf1979gmail Awesome, thank you for replying! Sadly, that's been my biggest hesitation in getting the crossrope. I'm right at 6'2 so they say I should do the XL, but the 9' I have right now is only *slightly* short, definitely not 6" too short. My current one is definitely usable, so I guess I'll stick with it until I can find something else. Thank you again for the reply, I really appreciate it!

They have great beginner work outs on their channel as well, just 10 or 15 minute workouts. As a beginner those are more than enough and will have your calf's burning in a good way, and as you get better you can always transition to a more advanced workout. Everyone is different and it is best to listen to your body, but generally it's best to jump one day then rest 1 or 2 days after then get back to it.
Hi, thanks for you great video, I want to ask about METs, I tried to find Mets for different skipping speeds but for 120-160 skips is regard as the same in most websites I found, cuz I skip at a pace of around 180/min for an hour so I wanna ask is there anyway to have a more ccurate estimation on the calories I burn for my work out?
