    Whoooohoooo! Started 2 weeks ago after watching your videos. Rain, snow, sun I had it all, but I love this as an outdoor routine. Coming from a cancerjourney, this really helps me on my way to a life after cancer. Thank you guys! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

    Thanks to Jump Rope Dudes for guiding me through my jumping rope journey. Seeing development in my body by jumping rope for 2 weeks after getting injured because I overworked myself when I first tried it. Now, I do it every other day, and also in calorie deficit. I'm also increasing my intensity each week.

    I completed 5k skips today. It took around 45 mins(including the breaks).
    It's funny, how I started with 100 skips and never thought I would be able to reach this far.
    This small achievements give immense happiness.
    Next milestone:- 5k under 30 mins.
    Thanks for guiding always.
    Keep motivating, keep inspiring.👍

    This video really motivated me to get started. I am 17 years old, my weight is 96 kg (211lb) and my height is around 166cm (5'4). But sometimes I'm so afraid of not getting any result from the jump rope that I do.

    • @xinalorreen2031
      @xinalorreen2031 10 місяців тому +6

      As long as you keep doing it, you will get results. No way can a body do this kind of workout consistently and have nothing to show for it. I'm just starting, not to lose weight, but to fend off a sedentary lifestyle. Even if all I get is the endorphins from exercise, my face will show more happiness.
      Do the thing.

    I am 73 years old and waiting for my jump ropes and mat to come in, I usually rebound and could only do 90 seconds when I first started. I now do 10 minutes twice a day on the rebounder. I hope I can do this, pray for me 😂😂😂. I have not been rebounding lately because I has some problems with re injury of my shoulder. So going to start again after the first.

    Thank you so much for the work you guys do. Jumping rope has changed my life. I have been jumping rope consistently since the beginning of the year at first I did 5 times a week using the 30 min workouts. It was no surprise I my legs gave in about 2 weeks in. I had extreme shin splits, I took a break for a day or 2 and came back to do 3 times a week. I still felt pain but endured until I got into it again. This week I started using a heavy rope, it's about 2.5 lbs and boy oh boy my arms were on fire. It's the challenge I need because I was getting too comfortable with regular rope.

    Just ordered my first crossrope! I've been using a high-end rope, but I'm tired of the PVC coated metal cable tangling and tripping me up when trying to do tricks. I can't wait to try these!

      Did you get them yet? If so, how are they?

    • @lonewolf1979gmail
      @lonewolf1979gmail 2 роки тому

      @@strixt I'm mixed on them. The quality and material is great. It never gets tangled up when doing cross-overs and stuff like my other one does. I'm mostly unhappy with the lengths and inability to make any sort of micro adjustments (for example cutting the cable to the correct length like most others can do). I got the length recommended for my height which was WAY too long to jump well with. I traded it in for one size smaller, which is workable but still not quite right. For the price of these things they really need to work in a way to adjust the length for a more accurate fit. It's a shame they don't because it's a great rope otherwise.

    • @strixt
      @strixt 2 роки тому

      @@lonewolf1979gmail Awesome, thank you for replying!
      Sadly, that's been my biggest hesitation in getting the crossrope. I'm right at 6'2 so they say I should do the XL, but the 9' I have right now is only *slightly* short, definitely not 6" too short. My current one is definitely usable, so I guess I'll stick with it until I can find something else.
      Thank you again for the reply, I really appreciate it!

My plan was to buy the get strong set along with a 1/2# rope with intention the intention to minimize equipment purchase. Is this a good idea? What is that round platform thing (floor mat) you're jumping on? Looks perfect for avoiding injury...

    Should I be doing this 7 day challenge before I've even gotten my form down? I'm starting at absolute zero, still tripping, etc and found these side to side, run in place, hop back and forth and the others kind of complicated because my mind is still focusing on trying to just get a simple skip down as well as the length of time because I get gassed? Also, I watched a different video (not sure which one though) where it was said to do a 20sec on-10sec break, 20sec on-10sec break up to five minutes. Where can I find that one to start with that I can follow along with? I did solve my double jump/skip by going faster so the rope came around in time to only do a simple hop.

    Hi guys!!! Any idea why I have ribcage pain right underneath the breasts and upper left back pain?? I started jumping rope yesterday... No leg knee nor shin pain, but can't understand why my ribcage and upper back hurts. Thanks!

    (posted this also on another of your vids, just in case). Love your channel; very helpful. Question: I’m a bit past a beginner…not much, but I keep at it. I’m having a problem with the achilles tendon on my left leg. It gets strained by jumping rope (nothing else), and can become painful, which is discouraging. I stretch it for about 20 minutes before jumping, slow methodical stretches, but there’s still an irritation issue. I don’t want to give up jumping because of it. Any advice? thanks so much for your channel! regards;…

      You have an imbalance somewhere. You gotta find out what's going on. More mobility and do some youtube searching. Get with a doctor if you need serious help.

    Hi.. will jump rope cause hurt or worsen De Quervain's tenosynovitis?Cause after nearly 3 years (short 1 month ) it won't go away.
    Will it hurt knees too? My knees are crunchy.. too much hard wear and tear on them..
    P.S Don't work as a cleaner.... it is not worth ruining your body...

    • @JumpRopeDudes
      @JumpRopeDudes  Рік тому +1

      Unfortunately, I can't answer your question, you'll have to get checked out by a doctor to make sure its safe for you to jump rope. If your knees are crunchy, wear supportive shoes and jump on a mat so that you can protect your joints. Hope this helps 🙏🏽
