Patrick was easily one of the best characters early on too because he wasn't a jerk he was just plain dumb and funny and cared for Spongebob while Patrick after the Spongebob movie was a dick
@@LittleJerryFan92 Yeah, SpongeBob went downhill after the 1st movie because it was supposed to be the end of the series but Nickelodeon wanted more episodes. At this point, it's just as bad as teen titans go.
The patty pal episode genuinely infuriates me. I got so mad watching Patrick essentially rob SpongeBob, eat all the food that they were SUPPOSED to split, and then eat the toy after not letting SpongeBob ever play with it. Sure at the end he buys two but he uses SpongeBobs money again

the Nitwitting is an episode that is actually severely disturbing to me i remember my first time watching it i turned off the tv and went and did something else completely
Early spongebob: spongebob and Patrick, while being childish, are still adults. While they can be extremely naive, they still have reasoning behind their actions Later seasons: spongebob and Patrick are massive brain-dead 7 year olds that torture everyone and everything around them.
You should cover the worst SpongeBob Specials. Some the worst I remember are Atlantis Squarepantis because the story is our characters go to Atlantis, but not much actually happens. The only entertaining part is Sandy using the boys as weapons. Who Bob What Pants was a story about SpongeBob forgetting who he is, however he recovers way too easily. Truth or Square was also really bad because we get a bunch of scenes with Patchy the Pirate calling random celebrities that kids probably don’t know. They’re concepts that could be really entertaining but the writers gave up on anything comprehensible. Kind of like Teen Titans Go.
After the creator stepping down and letting Nick executives take the reins on the episodes, the characters became more bland and annoying with some disturbing moments which somehow managed to be green lit
I notice it started getting real weird right after the first movie. It’s sad how Nickelodeon has milked SpongeBob for every penny after Stephen Hillenberg died
Seriously where are the freaking cops in the Nitwitting? They bust Mrs. Puff for littering of all things and whenever SpongeBob crashes a boat during his driving test....so why do these idiots get off Scot free?
The very first episode that you mentioned that episode was so annoying to watch cause Patrick treats SpongeBob so unfairly and then he acts out all Jealous the episode that made me feel bored because both SpongeBob and Patrick fight over the toy many times during the episode until Finally Mr Crabs stops the argument but then he too is a cheapskate as well.
My question is who are they even making this show for anymore? Is SpongeBob really still that popular with the current generation or is Nickelodeon just deluding themselves into believing that it’s still popular?
I miss how Patrick used to be in the early years of the show. Yeah, he was dumb but he still meant well, now he's still dumb to the point of causing so much unnecessary suffering to everyone around him, and occasionally being an a-hole for no reason whatsoever
I believe the worst episode is the one with suicide jokes. I don't remember what it's called but there are several bad jokes in it. Like squidward sticking his head in the oven, or putting up the clam cage except it looks like he's preparing to hang himself. It's absolutely disgusting that the producers even did this
This is a nitpick, but I'm tired of UA-camrs not knowing what the term infamous means. It means known for a bad deed or quality. Band Geeks is a beloved episode. It is not infamous.
That first episode is actually pretty genius in isolation. It’s a complete character assassination for Patrick, making him seem intelligent enough to trick SpongeBob and inflict emotional warfare - but on its own, it’s actually a really good episode for teaching kids the importance of toxic friendships, and how some people can be lazy and take everything off you with a big smile on their face, and you have to go along as to not hurt their feelings. It’s an uncomfortable watch, but that doesn’t make it a bad episode - those are two different things, whether you enjoyed it, and how impactful and thought provoking it is imo.
I don't know if you do suggestions but could you possibly do the episode that ruined The Loud House and the episode that ruined PAW Patrol believe it or not PAW Patrol was actually good before it was milked like Spongebob
I was completely zoned out watching this until the quick flash of the Siege thumbnail. Brought me back to reality like a dog smelling a treat. The offense, the acceptance. It happened so fast

In seasons 1-3, Patrick stupidity was actually funny. In the later seasons, I can't stand him as much anymore.
