I was Rick and Morty shill until Justin Roiland got kicked. It’s time for the show to end when an original creator gets fired. Last season should’ve been it’s last
@michaelmatthews1567 it's not gonna get any better than it's peak, Adult Swim just asked for several more seasons, as you can tell by last season, they wrapped up all their story lines quickly, Prime Rick and Evil Morty, the most interesting stories, wrapped up quickly, telling us this is a new era, and that we're resetting. Rick and Morty didn't get popular until Season 2 when they introduced their first canonical storyline, and since then they've been back and forth on if they want to tell a story or just stay episodic. And I don't see why they can't stories, bc obviously people love a good story, and lore breakdowns on UA-cam, it literally boosts their numbers, but ig they don't wanna put in the work anymore, especially if they gotta do literally 70 sum more episodes. They had a good 10 year run, no reason to just drag for another 10 years
As we learned from the Roiland's downfall, he pretty much quit on the show after the second season (and that his relationship with co-creator Dan Harmon was so bad, the studio tried bringing in a mediator)

4:13 it’s not that confusing, Dan Harmon didn’t know if Ice T would say yes, so he did a parody of his voice in the initial episode so that Ice T couldn’t sue later (if he had asked in advanced and then been denied, it would’ve been considered imitation instead of parody) so when the episode came out Ice T said he loved it and wish he’d been involved so they brought him back to cameo in Rise of Numbericons.

Me and my buddies were in college when this episode came out and it collectively ruined it for all of us. When that season was airing, we got together every week to watch the new episode, but the watch parties came to an abrupt end after that one. I don’t think I’ve had any desire to watch it since 😂
None of these mentioned “worst” episodes ruined rick and morty😂 they just weren’t a section of comedy that applied to you or your tastes. These episodes were all fantastic in their own light and only got hate bc people who hadn’t been watching since the beginning didn’t understand the build-up or the comedy behind them🤷🏼♂️

Man, I must’ve been pretty drunk when I watched this episode. I’m remembering everything you describe, but only after you describe it and show it on screen.
At first, I was like, "Nah, Rick and Morty doesn't have a bad episode." Then he showed the episode, and I was like, "Oh yeah, that was pretty bad, haha."
This one was fine. Sperm episode was the worst in the middle of their worst season. And from the comments safe to say its almost universally considered the worst.
It's interesting because the Citadel episode was very similar in concept, yet is considered one of the best episodes ever. (Though to be fair, all the "new" characters were all variants of Rick and Morty anyway, so this one may be cheating a little.)
I remember an article about Doctor Who battling Rick and Morty as 2 ongoing sci-fi shows, and Doctor Who won due to better dramaturgy (and other fun stuff) You know, that reminded me, that Doctor Who had a lof of episodes without the Doctor... but plot twist! They are actually good (Prime example - Turn Left episode)
Donna is a awesome companion. She actually grown and understands stuff. Rick vs the doctor would be a either or, type deal. It depends what they have on them and which doctor is facing Rick.
I think the worst episode was definitely the crew episode.(I think it was called “one crew over the crewcoos morty” I hated that one. And season 7 to me has been my favorite out of all the seasons writing wise. I find it a lot funnier but still good lore wise, voice actors could be better. But I can live with it as long as the writing stays this good.
I've really enjoyed Season 7 besides this specific episode I covered. There's definitely some lower quality episodes throughout the series, but overall, I'd say most episodes got me enjoying the show!
Genuinely don't see the problem with this episode. So what if it doesn't have rick? It's not like a show not having a titular character in an episode is some sin or groundbreaking thing. It's a common thing
Every Citadel episode with evil Morty is way worse than this. They form a rating category by themselves. It's 10 (for some outstanding episodes, like Rickdependence), 9, 8, 7, 5 (for some season one episodes, like the dog one), Citadel (aka -1).

It failed because it forgot that parodies were meant to parody things, not just imitate them poorly.
This episode actually reminds me a lot of this Chuck Jones animated movie from the 1970s called 'The Phantom Tollbooth'. One of the subplots in that movie was about a kingdom of words and a kingdom of numbers, and the conflict and eventual reconciliation between the two.
Bro I enjoyed the video and effort you put in. Constructive criticism: Saying "or something" every other sentence is no bueno
ice T must not have been good at reading lines lol
Me and my buddies were in college when this episode came out and it collectively ruined it for all of us. When that season was airing, we got together every week to watch the new episode, but the watch parties came to an abrupt end after that one. I don’t think I’ve had any desire to watch it since 😂
So this is the worst ?
Not the incest episodes ???
Seriously?! The Water T episode was the worst? Did we just forget that the episode with GIANT TALKING SPERM AND AN INCEST BABY EXISTS???
None of these mentioned “worst” episodes ruined rick and morty😂 they just weren’t a section of comedy that applied to you or your tastes. These episodes were all fantastic in their own light and only got hate bc people who hadn’t been watching since the beginning didn’t understand the build-up or the comedy behind them🤷🏼♂️
Any rick and morty fan would agree there are horrible epidodes on the show, but they't break anything because anything can happen is an important thought here
This episode was extremely mid, and yeah probably the worst one. HOWEVER this season had 3 absolutely banger episodes so absolutely worth watching
Didn’t expect this today Rick and morty is goated btw
Made me laugh way more than I care to admit
Oh. My brain protected me by forgetting that this episode existed. And now I remember.
I thought this episode was mildly amusing. Nothing special, but by far not the worst episode.
"Only the really popular ones were known world wide" yep thats what popular means
" I wanna thank my words' the letters that made them" And that's. IT!!!
Makes this episode definitely worth watching
What people forget is that the worst episode of Rick and Morty is still better than the best episodes of most other shows
If 0 turned out to be the letter O and was giving his speech on why he betrayed the letters but then 8 kills him mid speech that woulda been amazing
This one was fine. Sperm episode was the worst in the middle of their worst season. And from the comments safe to say its almost universally considered the worst.
I dont get it, rick and morty is famous for having an absurd episodes, and people complain when they see one?
It's interesting because the Citadel episode was very similar in concept, yet is considered one of the best episodes ever. (Though to be fair, all the "new" characters were all variants of Rick and Morty anyway, so this one may be cheating a little.)
I remember an article about Doctor Who battling Rick and Morty as 2 ongoing sci-fi shows, and Doctor Who won due to better dramaturgy (and other fun stuff)
You know, that reminded me, that Doctor Who had a lof of episodes without the Doctor... but plot twist! They are actually good (Prime example - Turn Left episode)
Death Battle had those two fights
Donna is a awesome companion. She actually grown and understands stuff. Rick vs the doctor would be a either or, type deal. It depends what they have on them and which doctor is facing Rick.
The morty sperm episode is way worse than this. This one really isnt that bad.
The beginning of the episode feels like a movie that the math teacher would play lol 😂
When they fired Justin is when it was ruined
Justin did nothing but voice the characters, season would've been the exact same even if he wasn't fired
I just got a Rick and Morty arcade ad😭
I think the worst episode was definitely the crew episode.(I think it was called “one crew over the crewcoos morty” I hated that one. And season 7 to me has been my favorite out of all the seasons writing wise. I find it a lot funnier but still good lore wise, voice actors could be better. But I can live with it as long as the writing stays this good.
I've really enjoyed Season 7 besides this specific episode I covered. There's definitely some lower quality episodes throughout the series, but overall, I'd say most episodes got me enjoying the show!
@@TheRealDarzii I’m just waiting for season 8 now!
Genuinely don't see the problem with this episode. So what if it doesn't have rick? It's not like a show not having a titular character in an episode is some sin or groundbreaking thing. It's a common thing
I dont care what anyone say for me its still good it got worse but i still like it
Every Citadel episode with evil Morty is way worse than this. They form a rating category by themselves. It's 10 (for some outstanding episodes, like Rickdependence), 9, 8, 7, 5 (for some season one episodes, like the dog one), Citadel (aka -1).
