Thank you. I just started one week ago. Each person is different. My dose is .25 and I cannot get 1200 calories In daily. I have lost over 5lbs. I am quite happy.
I really want to thank you for spending your time and breaking this down. I'm a heart patient and my Cardiologist prescribed this for myself. I had to search for 2 months to find the .025 I found it finally and haven't started yet. Today I finally found the .50 which is the next of the 4 weeks and my Dr Sent in the 1.0 mg for the next month so I can try to find it somewhere. But for people without prescriptions and the insurance turning you down 1600.00 a month is crazy... I'm only paying 24.99 after my insurance agreed to cover me.
Hi, thank you kindly for comment. I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and what led you to Wegovy. I can say that my health has improved significantly from the weight loss. I am very grateful that my insurance covered the medication and the 2.4 mg dose isn’t hard to obtain at all. I hope that your journey with Wegovy goes well and that you reach your health goals!!
I wanted to share some helpful information with you about Wegovy that someone else shared with me. The doctor may encourage you to keep increasing the dosage. If you find that a low dosage( such as .50) is working for you, then you need to resist your doctor wanting to increase the dosage. The side effects at higher dosages may make your life miserable and once you get to the top level (2.4) Wegovy may not be as effective for you. When I explained to my doctor how the side effects were almost intolerable to me at .59, the doctor agreed to not increase it. Of course everyone is different, but if you find that you are still losing weight on a low dosage. I would encourage you to stay on that dosage as long as it is working for you. So far I’ve lost 32lbs in 4 months on .50. I know everyone is different, but I hope this may help someone.
Thank you so much for sharing this information. Hopefully it does help someone who is struggling as they step up in dosing. I really needed to stay at 1.0 for longer but I stepped up every four weeks and it took longer for my body to adjust. So your suggestion is very valuable. I appreciate you taking the time to share this information with our community.
I started last night … but today I felt full with only nausea this am and I felt full all day and ate reduced calories and worked out - I will try to update this next week
Hi 👋🏽 congratulations on starting your Wegovy journey! It seems as if you’re off to a great start. You can try chewing mint gum and drinking peppermint tea to combat your nausea. Try to stay well hydrated as well. Please keep us updated!!
Finally started 0.25 11/3 today is the 6th after I have no appetite I make myself eat at lunch and if feel any hungry by dinner I will eat but it's very small just a little loopy in the head and metallic taste in my mouth which makes me drink more so far those are my Symptoms.
Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. I was prescribed Wegovy injections and I'm so scared to start. I've been educating myself but I still have this fear , mainly the side effects
Hi there 👋🏽, I totally understand your hesitation because the side effects can be bothersome but there has been a lot of people who’ve stated that they haven’t had any severe reactions. You won’t know unless you give it a try. Earlier this week someone provided me with an update on administering their first injection and stated that it wasn’t as bad as they initially thought and the person did not report any side effects. So if your starting on the lowest dose, you may not experience a severe reaction however if you do and it’s unbearable then you would most definitely want to speak to your physician and determine if the medication is truly right for you. There are lots of horror stories but everyone doesn’t have the same experience. My journey started off rocky but I no longer have any side effects at all at the highest dose. I hope you feel a tad more encouraged and I’m sure you’ll make the best decision. Whatever you decide I wish you much success on your weight loss journey!! Thank you so much for your comment💕

Just found your channel and I’m glad I did! Thanks for sharing such wonderful information. I’m starting my 0.25 mg dose. I said next Wednesday, but I may start tonight after listening to you. Like, why wait? I had difficulty finding the 0.25 dose. I called pharmacies, and even called the manufacturer. No luck until I contacted my doctor. The hospital outpatient pharmacy had all strengths! I guess they have to because someone could be inpatient on the medication. I hope that helps someone. Also, I’m subscribing to your channel now.

So ill be okay with a couple of pounds the first month.
Hey there 👋🏽 thank you so much. Congratulations on starting your journey, I hope Wegovy treats you well. A lot of people have little to no side effects especially when starting on the lowest dose… you never know, you could possibly have zero issues. Either way, I hope it goes well for you and I appreciate your comment 💕
@zionssoldierofwar7194 Typically you move up in dosage every four weeks unless you experience an issue with one of the dosages in which case your physician may choose to keep you at a particular dose for a while. In my case I was on .25 mg of wegovy for four weeks, .50 mg of ozempic for four weeks, 1 mg of ozempic for four weeks, 1.7 mgs of wegovy for four weeks and I’ve been on the 2.4 mg of wegovy for over 7 months. I will be on this highest dose until I reach my goal weight and then I’ll enter maintenance and presumably titrate down in dosage.

Hey, I would definitely mention this to my doctor to get his/her thoughts on it and perhaps he/she can help you to evaluate your diet to identify how you can eat more satiating foods while paying close attention to your carb intake. Once I scaled back on eating a lot of carbs I noticed my appetite wasn’t as large. Also, there was a period when my appetite seemed to be creeping back but it was due to my activity level increasing, my body demanded more fuel in the form of food and so I adjusted my diet to include larger portions of mainly protein, vegetables like lots of leafy greens, baked sweet potato, a variety of beans, and in between meals sliced apples with a teaspoon of nut butter and lots of watermelon. I also increased my water intake and added a premier protein shake which actually is quite filling. Eventually things leveled out and the appetite suppression returned to normal. I would try including the foregoing foods, consider if your activity has increased, then pay attention to how you feel on 2.4 mg which is a significantly stronger appetite suppressant. Also keep in mind that you may be on 2.4 mgs for some time possibly until you reach your desired weight.
