He does say he wants a "dirty woman". If you remember from the song Mother, his overprotective mother says "Mama's gonna check out all your girl friends for you. Mama won't let anyone dirty get through". So Pink is rebelling against her now and wants a "dirty woman".

The Wall is a rock album that narrates the story of a young individual who is part of a rock group. The album is crafted in the signature style of Pink Floyd, where the listener is taken through a journey with a clear beginning and end. To truly grasp the deeper meaning of the album, it is necessary to listen to it from start to finish, as the story seamlessly unfolds through each song. The Wall is a masterpiece that showcases the band's creativity and ability to captivate the audience with their music and storytelling.

You can still call 123 in UK and a recording will tell you the time every 10 seconds. It costs 50p per minute though so I wouldn't recommend it as a long term thing even though it is quite relaxing. Anyone else as nerdy as me will also recognise 123 as the UDP port for connecting to a time server.

I think you should both react to Pink Floyd The Wall on your movie channel! It strings all the songs together into a cohesive story and incredibly powerful. Also, very trippy.

They wanted to get an "honest reaction" to a phone call and hopefully they would be able to tie it into the message of the song that rock stars aren't the only ones capable of infidelity. This operator was a perfect foil for them - and it was on the first try! Keep up the great work guys.

I love seeing them react to songs from The Wall. The Wall is a very story-driven concept album so have short (for Pink Floyd) songs that are more structured (like songs you hear from other bands) so you do not have that 10-minute space journey that they are used to and expecting. I can't wait to see Jay's face when they react to The Trial . Probably the first Pink Floyd song Jay will not like! I also can't wait until they react to the Pink Floyd The Wall movie. It may give them a better sense what the songs are about.

    Yaaaay!
Great to see you're doing better Amber!😊👍
In the context if the movie The Wall,
this song and it's sound are perfect.
Back in 1989, i was lucky enough to meet the actress Jenny Wright, whose character in the movie is introduced to, and with this song.
    In 1989,
She once came into a supermarket i was working at.
    She and another person walked
    in around 12 midnight looking
    for a bathroom to use.
    Jenny looked so lost, vulnerable,
and disaffected. I got the impression
the woman she was with had some
sort of abusive control of Jenny.
I recall secretly noticing how dirty
and scratched up both of Wright's hands and arms here.
    She also had some bruising.
I chatted for a few minutes with her about another movie she was in called Near Dark, she was happy i saw the movie. As soon as the person she was with came back from the bathroom, Jenny clammed up and got really quiet.
Truth be told, i just wanted to give Jenny a reassuring hug, and ask her if she needed me to call someone, and if she wanted to get away from that sketchy AF woman she was with.
Unfortunately, the woman ordered her to leave the store and off they went. She was so sweet and kind. Sigh....

Please, take the time to watch The Wall, the movie! You already have a movie chanel, that would be agood place to watch it! You will then realize that the album is in fact a storie and each song is like a chapter that need to be listened in the proper order. This will make you understand the album!

I know I brought it up before, but you really do need to listen to this album start to finish to hear the songs in the context of the story the album is telling. And, even though I don't think you would ever be able to post it due to the way YT limits music in film reactions, you should absolutely watch the film version as well. It's an amazing film visually illustrating the music including actual animated sequences they used during the live concerts, and features one track not on the album. I have the special edition DVD and it's one of my favorite films of all time.

I'm thrilled you guys are getting back into Floyd, but seriously guys, you really need to check out Pink Floyd: Live At Pompeii, 1971, the full version. You can make it two videos if you want, because they often have it split into Part One & Part Two, but if you guys never check this performance out, you'll be missing out on a life-changing experience.

You guys absolutely have to Do Echos Live at pompeii! You will both absolutely love it! It's considered by many to be the greatest live performance video of all time. It's really old but it gives you an idea of where the true greatness of this group was first discovered. Truly epic performance!
