Enjoyed this video. So much planning goes into the end dump that you don't really think about. Liked how you dump that load taking your time. Again i really do appreciate your time and effort doing these videos, enjoy watching
Hey what’s up man. So this trailer is a 40x102. Well I can’t say on that since I’ve only been pulling end dump for a year and a half. What type of product to you plan on hauling? You might be limited causes of the length. Sometimes different products are really light and fill mine up completely. Being bulk we get paid more if we haul more weight. So that might be something to consider before a purchase.
@CruzTube Honestly I am not sure as to what I would haul I will be pretty open to anything as long as it's safe haha. You think the 36ft trailer is to short? What about the sides its 92in on the Mac trailer I'm looking at. Do you think I need another axle on the daycab for heavy hauling?
@@AnythingWithMotors I personally think it’s short. But like I mentioned, I’m no guru so it all depends on the work you have set up for yourself. On my setup I’m always at 80k loaded rolling down the highway. I don’t have any extra axles and I do fine. I also couldn’t imagine the extra fuel consumption being heavier than 80. Another area I personally wouldn’t want to venture down lololol. Oh and I’m not sure about the sides. All the trailers at Oakley are this height or higher. So anything shorter I don’t have experience with.
I’ve only gone out that way once with this company. I wish we went that way more. I do know there’s some guys that live out there from what I’m told. So I’m guessing they usually the ones that get those loads
Thank you. Currently on my last fuel up I was getting 5.5. But I stay in it, so that def doesn’t help my fuel mileage. Usually get around 900 miles out of my tanks.
