lachie you 100% should travel around discussing techniques with elite grapplers.. this is the sort of footage i could watch all day every day. Your explanations are awesome but so are your questions! Super cool
100%. I can’t remember the last time i actually watched a lengthy UA-cam video(more than 2:00), and it held my undivided attention for every single second. Honestly, one of the most interesting BJJ videos I’ve ever watched. Bravo.
This is nice to see. Lachie is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. So down to earth and willing to give you his time. Jacob seems like a really nice guy too. Literally no ego by both of these guys 🤙
Great video! 2:15 such a simple solution to the problem Jacob presented! The commentary on the handfight with Kade, and Jacob's with Tackett, was amazing. And the gripping detail Jacob showed for the false reap is really cool too!
@@georgelarge1650 I know, of course I watched him and was blown away with his retention and entries, I just hope that isn't the last time we are lucky enough to see him compete.
The problem is that he very likely doesn't take peds and doesn't want to. Most other guys his age are taking them. This makes it very hard for him to compete IMHO.
This is awesome, you both seem like great people and are amazing grapplers. It's so cool to see you come together like this during some down time at a major event.
It's funny that Lachlan asked false reap question since he talked about him not being successful with false reap in the competition in Leuven seminar :D
The last move where he brings both his legs around the opponent is in there. I haven't seen all of the dvds though just because they are so long and definitely worth it!
my knees would have blown several times in these positions. even if they're w/in your range of motion be sure they're also in the range of your training partner's.
Seeing Jacob be like "no way you're asking ME a question?" is the most wholesome thing I've seen in weeks what a legend
Jacob is such a humble guy. Really nice to see two talented grapplers exchange ideas this way.
Yeah good kid. Got his head screwed on
Lachlan is a pioneer of the false reap, asking this youngster his take on it. Humble.

This popped up on my feed and made me so happy. Jacob is such a good dude and watching his growth is amazing.
First the technique popped up on your feed and later it will have popped your feet
This interaction was awesome!
I have soooo much time for this kind of content. Two experts sharing knowledge and just how humble Jacob is being is so refreshing to see.
3. Couch is the humblest guy alive lol. So wholesome how he couldn't believe lachlan had a question for him
I always come back to this video when I'm having problems with my false reap. this video the way they talk out the movements is everything .
"You're not asking me no question" 🤣. These types of videos are great!

It's pretty funny how Lachlan and Jacob are discussing how Kade avoided his heel hook, with Kade just walking around in the background
Really hope to see Lachlan compete again, I feel he's only getting better and pushing grappling in new directions with his inovations.
He competed last weekend at adcc

Two of my favorite grapplers sharing techniques. Amazing video.
5:35 i love how lachlan talks about this type of finish (similiar to how he finished kaynan in 2019!)
This is giving me the feels and I don't know why. Just two awesome dudes being awesome together.
2. Hella funny how he was trying to not get Kade to notice he was talking about him lol
I'm a fan of yours Lachlan and got to meet Jacob Couch this summer. Cool to see this!
This video was awesome. Thank you to two humble champions. 🤙🏾
This was absolutely fantastic and I could watch stuff like this all day. Much appreciation to you two for sharing technique with us too.
1. Lachlan has some unique approach to leg locks and works wonderfully
Its so nice to see people exchanging ideas. These are really nice ways to get to the legs. I can’t wait to see the one with Mikey.
Best jiu-jitsu content ive seen in months. Love the humility and appreciate the love of the game from elite guys ❤

I love how shocked Jacob was that Lachlan was asking HIM a question about technique
Nice bits of content from the backstage
This was such a wholesome video. Jiu jitsu bringing people together
Wow thanks for sharing gentlemen.
This is why I love Bjj
It's funny that Lachlan asked false reap question since he talked about him not being successful with false reap in the competition in Leuven seminar :D

rsK - 1:15 , 2:05 , 2:30 , 3:05
fReap - 10:00 , 11:10 , 12:30 , 13:00
This made my day
He's making Lachlan better at heel hooks...that is like putting adamantium in wolverines bones.
Straight wisdom in that room 🔥
awesome video !
More of this please Signor Algorithm
Thank you for this video.
Thanks for sharing!
@00:58 No shoes on the mats!
0:57 Pretty impressive jump 👍
Golden!!! Thank you!
L O V E D this video! Thanks a lot for sharing it
Is that stuff where you take your rdlr hook to the outside of the hip to invert though to k-guard on any of your dvds or your website?
I'm pretty sure it's in open guard 1 and 3
The last move where he brings both his legs around the opponent is in there. I haven't seen all of the dvds though just because they are so long and definitely worth it!
@@kevint4673 Is in where? The website, or one of his dvds?
Eddie Beans aka Eddie Bravo loves Lachen Giles would mention him and Craig a few times in his morning comp. class
Lachlan I look up to you! Love your game
Amazing!
great content
Top content 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽
😮the reverse delariva to kguard 🔥👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Woah, what a treat.
Lachie is in my opinion the most technical leg locker out there.
7:05 Why Kade won on first match
Love these 2 grapplers
i wanna hug them both
I really love the false reap technique but I'm wary of getting estima locked. Have you guys got any advice on avoiding this?
its wild how AI/the youtube algorythm knows the weakpoints of my jiu jitsu game well enough to make spot on recommendations
great clip
2:15 Crouch: "can you do that again bitch" 👀
Legend!
Fuck, I love these guys
Do you think false reap has high chance of injuring LCL?
my knees would have blown several times in these positions. even if they're w/in your range of motion be sure they're also in the range of your training partner's.
So awesome
good stuff.
Amazing

Just the sound is a bit low..legends otherwise..

WOOT WOOT

What is it that makes Lachlan so loveable?
Cool shit

if anything basic jiu jitsu
new school remixed taking over

I’ve used this to heel hook all the white belts at class. 😂 jk
Great content, terrible audio :D
