I grew up and lived my life in the time of Bob Dylan, Hallelujah and Leonard Cohen, the answers blown in the wind..Masters of lyric...

Oh my man o day! Who woulda thunk it that Dylan would be hitting yet ANOTHER peak at age 80. Mind, we can forensically go back
7 or 8 years+see+hear Dylan starting that climb to this new summit. Was it those years recording 3 releases and performing half his sets made up with his own take on obscure Sinatra and The Great American Songbook??? Yes.
Was it the two year forced break from touring that rejuvenated Dylans voice visionand muse? Doubtless.
Dylan certainly is singing with some of the greatest confident authority he ever has. The phrasing, the emotion the held out trills and notes and elastic last syllable type things Dylan's doing here blow my mind and put a smile on my face from ear to ear each and every time I have heard any isolated performance from the November +December shows. Gosh and the music is so brilliant too. Dylans band is one of the best on the planet...so sympathetic to what Dylan is doing. I wonder if they talk after the gigs about how Dylan has pushed them to new heights as musicians. I wonder if they're saying amongst themselves
"Man...Bob's always been great, I don't know how he's done it, but Dylan as good as we've seen +heard him recently years has somehow raised his performance and singing up a couple of notches even from that!" It's a great time to be a Dylan fan...especially starting when
Murder Most Foul dropped+then Multitudes +then the entire Rough And Rowdy Ways record.
    Brilliant stuff.

Very simple words, but with such a deep meaning... He is the master of words, real poet. Dylan's body of work is also the closest thing I can define as "art".

I'm just completing a cover of Dark Eyes and the writing in that song is just poetry. Absolutely fantastic rhyme structure and a beautiful song to sing.
