he's playing the harp part from the record but no one else evidentally has heard the record so they are making new shit up which could be great but it's not. It is kind of stupid. Improvising is a talent and these guys were recording artists. evidentally. cuz damn.

I loved Bob from his first album. I couldn’t believe that he would play with the Dead. I met Jerry in 1971 in Providence Rhode Island at my first show and I saw him sitting on the edge of the stage with his legs hanging over the side. I was one of the first people to come through and I saw Jerry sitting there with an unplugged guitar. I stood right in front of him and he smiled and I just asked him if I could sit behind the amps and he said yes. I made my way around the right side of it and made my way up to the first opening between the amps.and I come out next to Bear who was dropping liquid acid on the back of people’s hands and then they licked it off. I stuck my head out and he put four big drops on the back of my hand and I licked it off. By second song I was staring to get off. At the first set break I got up and walked around checking out the gear and the next thing is Jerry next to me holding out a big fat joint. We start passing it back and forth for several hits and I took a big and held it for just a few seconds and began having a crouching fist. Jerry is laughing at me.The second set is standing and I sit behind Pigpen.Bear hooks me up with his local dealer. The first hits I got were pale blue. This turned into more than 10 years that my best friend from high school and I made some money during this period. thanks Jerry ⚡️🎸⚡️

❤️🖤 EFFLUVewe! LIEB! Met je kwikmond in de missionaire tijden With your mercury mouth in the missionary times En je ogen als rook en je gebeden als rijmpjes And your eyes like smoke and your prayers like rhymes En je zilveren kruis en je stem als klokkenspel And your silver cross and your voice like chimes Oh, wie denken ze dat jou zou kunnen begraven? Oh, who do they think could bury you? Eindelijk zijn uw zakken goed beschermd With your pockets well-protected at last En je tramvisioenen die je op het gras plaatst And your streetcar visions which you place on the grass En je vlees als zijde en je gezicht als glas And your flesh like silk and your face like glass Wie zouden ze je kunnen laten dragen? Who could they get to carry you? Droevige dame uit de laaglanden Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands Waar de profeet met droevige ogen zegt dat er geen mens komt Where the sad-eyed prophet says that no man comes Mijn magazijnogen, mijn Arabische drums My warehouse eyes, my Arabian drums Moet ik ze bij uw poort zetten, of dame met droevige ogen, moet ik wachten? Should I put them by your gate, or sad-eyed lady, should I wait? Met je lakens als metaal en je riem als kant With your sheets like metal and your belt like lace En je kaartspel mist de boer en de aas And your deck of cards missing the jack and the ace En je kelderkleren en je holle gezicht And your basement clothes and your hollow face Wie van hen dacht dat hij jou te slim af kon zijn? Who among them did think he could outguess you? Met jouw silhouet als het zonlicht dimt With your silhouette when the sunlight dims In je ogen waar het maanlicht zwemt Into your eyes where the moonlight swims En je luciferboekjeliedjes en je zigeunerliederen And your matchbook songs and your gypsy hymns Wie van hen zou proberen indruk op je te maken? Who among them would try to impress you? Droevige dame uit de laaglanden Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands Waar de profeet met droevige ogen zegt dat er geen mens komt Where the sad-eyed prophet says that no man comes Mijn magazijnogen, mijn Arabische drums My warehouse eyes, my Arabian drums Moet ik ze bij uw poort zetten, of dame met droevige ogen, moet ik wachten? Should I put them by your gate, or sad-eyed lady, should I wait? De koningen van Tyrus, met hun lijst van veroordeelden The kings of Tyrus, with their convict list Wachten in de rij voor hun geraniumkus Are waiting in line for their geranium kiss En je zou niet weten dat het zo zou zijn gebeurd And you wouldn't know it would have happened like this Maar wie van hen wil je echt alleen maar kussen? But who among them really wants just to kiss you? Met de vlammen uit je kindertijd op je middernachtkleed With your childhood flames on your midnight rug En je Spaanse manieren en de drugs van je moeder And your Spanish manners and your mother's drugs En je cowboymond en je avondklok And your cowboy mouth and your curfew plugs Wie van hen zou je kunnen weerstaan, denk je? Who among them do you think could resist you? Droevige dame uit de laaglanden Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands Waar de profeet met droevige ogen zegt dat er geen mens komt Where the sad-eyed prophet says that no man comes Mijn magazijnogen, mijn Arabische drums My warehouse eyes, my Arabian drums Moet ik ze bij uw poort achterlaten, of dame met droevige ogen, moet ik wachten? Should I leave them by your gate, or sad-eyed lady, should I wait? Oh, de boeren en de zakenlieden, ze hebben allemaal beslist Oh, the farmers and the businessmen, they all did decide Om je te laten zien waar de dode engelen zijn die ze verborgen hielden To show you where the dead angels are that they used to hide Maar waarom hebben ze jou uitgekozen om met hun kant te sympathiseren? But why did they pick you to sympathize with their side? Hoe kunnen ze je ooit verwarren? How could they ever mistake you? Ze wensten dat je de schuld voor de boerderij op je had genomen They wished you'd accepted the blame for the farm Maar met de zee aan je voeten en het valse valse alarm But with the sea at your feet and the phony false alarm En met het kind van de gangster in je armen gewikkeld And with the child of the hoodlum wrapped up in your arms Hoe hadden ze je ooit kunnen overtuigen? How could they ever have persuaded you? Droevige dame uit de laaglanden Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands Waar de profeet met droevige ogen zegt dat er niemand is gekomen Where the sad-eyed prophet says that no man's come Mijn magazijnogen, mijn Arabische drums My warehouse eyes, my Arabian drums Moet ik ze bij uw poort achterlaten, of dame met droevige ogen, moet ik wachten? Should I leave them by your gate, or sad-eyed lady, should I wait? Met je plaatwerkherinnering aan Cannery Row With your sheet metal memory of Cannery Row En je tijdschriftman die op een dag gewoon weg moest And your magazine husband who one day just had to go En je zachtheid nu, die je wel kunt laten zien And your gentleness now, which you just can't help but show Wie van hen zou jou in dienst nemen, denk je? Who among them do you think would employ you? Nu sta je bij je dief, je bent voorwaardelijk vrijgelaten Now you stand with your thief, you're on his parole Met je heilige medaillon in je vingertoppen omhul je nu With your holy medallion in your fingertips now enfold En je heilige gezicht en je spookachtige ziel And your saintlike face and your ghostlike soul Wie van hen zou ooit kunnen denken dat hij jou zou kunnen vernietigen? Who among them could ever think he could destroy you? Droevige dame uit de laaglanden Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands Waar de profeet met droevige ogen zegt dat er geen mens komt Where the sad-eyed prophet says that no man comes Mijn magazijnogen, mijn Arabische drums My warehouse eyes, my Arabian drums Moet ik ze bij uw poort achterlaten, of dame met droevige ogen, moet ik wachten? Should I leave them by your gate, or sad-eyed lady, should I wait? 🔥🔥🔥🖤🔥🔥🔥 04~10~2024 Vrijdag~tien~oktober~tweeduizendvierentwintigXXIV
