to test fitment and performance. Also to make the install videos for our customers to be able to do the work themselves and see that it's not impossible to do at home.
Depends what parts you get. I spent over 1300 on the ams heat exchanger and downpipes alone. And their red alpha tune is 1495. But there are also cheaper downpipes and heat exchangers and tuning options so I wouldn't say 1300 like concept z said, but maybe 1500 if you go super cheap on parts and find a cheap tuner
Roughly $1300 is what the cost in parts and Dyno time with us will be. It can go up or down a bit depending on any hiccups that could happen during the tuning process.
There is another video of just the exhaust (they dynoed after installation), this is part 2 of that video. They initially didn't have the DP on. Try that video and maybe it can help you out some more
really its negligible turbo vehicles need tuning to make extra power, the better flow allows the turbos to perform better letting you safely run more boost
@@sticky40sx71 sound is a little better, especially at cold startup. The gains are there too. I can't honestly say how much because i've never gotten mine tuned but there's a stretch of road before my neighborhood that I used to hit 100mph on stock. After ams downpipes I can hit 105 before slamming on the brakes to turn into my neighborhood. It was definitely a mod I could feel
Have you upgraded your heat exchanger? If not I wouldn’t recommend tuning it yet because the factory heat exchanger is very small and once you put some more power on the motor it’s not good, so I would recommend a AMS heat exchanger then a tune
Yuhan Iriahuzla the 3.0, it’s a twin turbo dude literally just a tune no mods and you make 60-90whp for a couple hundred bucks. Even after spending thousands on mods and tune can you make 90whp on the 3.7
You should be clearly listing HP gains for 1) Cat back alone 2) Cat back + cat elimination 3) Cat back+ cat delete AND ECU. Most people will only be able to the cat back mod. Cat delete won't pass inspection. What about cat back + ECU? I appreciate your effort but the results don't really answer to many questions.
Ok. I get it! People want to go fast for cheap by cutting corners. 9/10 this is only going to cost a lot of mechanical issues (hence financial headache) in the long run. Three hundred horses not enough, hmmm let me add 20 more. Or maybe if I add more torque and f..k up the tranny; forgot to upgrade brakes...ohh I forgot let me change those color brake calipers maybe the car will 'look faster. I mean really.
You're special. The exact same car with the exact same motor, transmission, differential and almost everything else is badged the Q50 Red Sport 400. It makes 400hp on the same drivetrain from factory. And yes, same brakes.
I love that you put the decibel rating, not many youtubers put a quantifiable data point let alone the specifics at rpm. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for being descriptive about it being a premium rwd and that it's a 3.0L twin turbo Q50!
I'm getting one in 2 weeks I'm excited!
I have a Q50 and fucking love this car. Might look into doing this

When you took the sound clips from the inside, was that with the fake exhaust sounds from the audio system disabled?
Are you guys located in phx area?
Where is this I want to come in for service ?
how bad was the drone
was this the 3.7L or the 3.0T
Is this on Uprev or Ecutek?
Where are you guys located I have a Redsport and need some work done by a solid shop...
lol, when you finally find a tuner you think you can trust they don't want the work. Go figure.

Can you safely run the test pipes without tuning ?
Yeah they can run them just fine, they still help with power and response even with no tune

Any CEL after the downpipe install?
no

stock ecu we used EcuTek to tune it

They don't come 3.5, it would be 3.7. But the premium is the 3.0tt
