Nice work. I have taken so many breaks while knitting mine and finally started knitting the button band. Your cardigan looks great and so cozy. If you're ever tempted to make another one, how about using the leftover yarn as an accent color for an ivory/cream base. I just can't wait to finish mine and plan the next knit. I want this in so many colors. But I also want a drop shoulder version. Did you block yours before knitting the button-band?
For your next cardigan, have you considered the Agnete? That is going to be a labor of love.
I'm just finishing up the April cardigan and I think I like it more than Champagne...if I make another it would be an April. I don't block my sweaters until they are completely finished..one time i blocked a colorwork yoke before finishing the rest of the sweater and to this day you can see the differences in the two sections. I have everything to make the September cardigan, I'm hoping it's a little easier than Agnete while still giving the brioche squish.....if it goes well I might consider Agnete.
@@LizSews I went back and forth between April and Champagne cardigans before deciding on the Champagne as I liked the button band and wanted a baggier fit. I do like the shoulder of April cardigan and might consider making that with the double knit button band. Thanks for the feedback on blocking. Could I ask why you prefer the April cardigan over the Champagne.
