  • Where to even begin with the "all-new" 2023 Acura Integra? Enthusiasts have been waiting for a new Integra ever since Acura discontinued the excellent RSX back in 2006.
Now, 17 years later, there is a new Integra. Based on the 11th gen Honda Civic, the new Integra only comes in a four-door sedan body, and, despite being positioned as an entry-level luxury sport sedan, it pretty much feels exactly like a Civic Si. The powertrain is identical, the chassis uses pretty much all the same parts, and even the interior is almost 100% Honda Civic.
What gives? Where are the upgrades? The Integra is supposed to be the better version of a Honda Civic, but this doesn't really seem any better, especially given the ridiculous $37,395 price tag.
Is the revived Acura Integra worth your time and money? Let's go find out...
2023 Acura Integra A-SPEC with Tech Package
    MSRP: $37,395
    Engine: L15B7, 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder
    Power: 200 horsepower, 195 lb-ft torque
Transmission: 6-speed manual w/ helical LSD
Fuel Economy: 26 MPG city, 26 MPG freeway, 30 combined
Chassis: McPherson strut front, multi-link independent rear, adaptive dampers. Brakes, sway bars, etc. all the same as Civic Si
Interior/Tech: Leather, power, heated seats, dual zone climate control, wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, head-up display

Try to find an Si on a lot, or at MSRP. Both are very possible with the Integra. I bought mine at MSRP 5 days after putting down my deposit, and given the markup on the Si, I basically paid for an Si + $2000 with much a better stereo and heated seats, both of which are important to me. After 2000 miles (and new tires) I love this car and plan on keeping it a long time. One thing to note is that dyno tests show that this car, like the Si, has more power to the wheels than Acura claims. With good tires (the ContiPro Contacts are just awful), this car is a blast. As far as de-contenting cars to make money on higher trims/other models, every manufacturer is doing it. That does not make it right, but it is unavoidable.

you are correct, the car dynos at 220hp. it looks sick, it is insanely comfortable, there is plenty of room and i've gotten as many compliments with this car from strangers as I do when I take out my EM1.

i literally owned an em1, a gsr and now a 23 integra and i absolutely love my integra. it rocks. i literally just finished a weekend of hard driving it up some serious touge shit. it suits all my needs and you can get them for the same price or CHEAPER than a 11th gen si.

Happy turkey day, Jake. You pulled no punches in this review, and it's much appreciated. Fingers crossed for the Type S.

Calling this a cash grab seems unfair. I'll admit I didn't have the experience of growing up with Honda/Acura (it was mostly a Ford family) but every other account I see is that the Integra was always just a "nicer Civic" and the higher performance people remember either came from tuning or the Type S which is launching this summer (confirmed with 2L/320HP). I just received my Integra with the stick earlier this week and am loving it, it's a joy to drive without being too much while still having fantastic fuel economy. I think they struck a good balance as an economic and mature daily driver that can still be fun on the weekends or be taken to track days, never mind the cost limits I'm sure they were probably also constrained to.

Wife didn't want a manual. So I ended up with Hondas sport touring. Not quite as nice as the Integra. But dam close. Plus I got the loaded Civic for less than the base Acura. I would have gone the other way if it were just me.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! The first honest and unbiased review of this mess. My daily is a '19' Civic Si 2 door, and drove a couple of Integra A spec's with tech. What a let down! The car and the styling is trying to be too many things at once…it’s also WAY too long! The grille makes it look like any other Acura… please give it its own personality. The interior is beautiful. The tech is nice. Stereo nice. The seats are hard and uncomfortable with not much bolstering. But it felt like I had an extra 400 pounds in it. If Acura is going to bring back a legend after all these years, don’t give it more weight and LESS horsepower. Find at least 20-25 more HP for bragging rights from an upscale Honda brand. I WANT to like this car. But they need to focus on what it's trying to be.🫤

Honda does the same boring engine across every motorcycle category as well. Nothing unique about the design.

Omg could you understand this car, or the historical relationship between civics and Integras, less? I mean, is it possible?
