I have listened to some pro-gun arguments from here in the UK, for example the NRA. It made my head hurt. I felt like I'd been abducted and woke up in an asylum for the criminally deranged.
No excuse for owning a gun. Period.

Greetings from Germany. We shake our heads in bewilderment every time there is a report of a robbery with weapons in a supermarket or children being shot in a school, here a murder there a robbery.
And every time these cursed weapons are involved. They are also freely available. The USA can't make itself any less attractive.
What the USA really needs are much stricter gun laws, control of existing weapons in homes, much stricter regulations on how weapons are to be stored.
And that someone finally gets off their ass and musters the courage to ban these shitty weapons from the stores and take action against this criminal gun lobby. They should actually be tried for aiding and abetting murder.
But the murders go on year after year and never stop.
A mass murder is defined as the killing of three or more people at one time and in one location. (in US) Greetings from Finland...
I feel so lucky to live in the UK..
well we had a mass killing sometime ago at shopping mall, yet it was knife that was the weapon the man may have unstable at the time. Yet what happen over twenty years ago I glad we restricted gun used in Australia. You can still get one, however you need a reason and medical authorization to get one and. Yet this does not stop death from guns outright but it better then doing nothing at all.
So if you have to pull the trigger manually or every bullet its totally fine ? Wow .. just wow .. thats like its OK when Homelander rips the heart out of a body, but when he lasers people to death .. no thats evil.
Guns are fine for hunting, and sport. Problem is how the law is for obtaining a gun and license, as well as storing requirements.
Hunters also need to do their proficiency test every year to keep the hunting license.
Only in the USA so sad.
