Being intersex means they were probably given sexual reassignment surgery the day they were born when they couldn't consent, and never told about it, but if they were just trans they'd have to wait years and fight really hard just to have it consentually, and probably have it denied anyway. I'm sick of the right to bodily autonomy for queer individuals being denied and violated all the time. We're people too. (I'm trans.)

You took a bit of a leap there considering most intersex people simply have mismatched chromosomes / hormonal sensitivity but still only have one set of genitals or the other.
But other than that I totally agree. And it's laughable how all of those bills being passed to "protect" children make exceptions for irreversible surgery on infants.
@@morbidsearch You're right that most intersex people just have intersex chromosomes and their physical anatomy is mostly typical. I forgot about that. However, if they had any type of intersex condition that does affect physical anatomy, then what I said is completely accurate.
