Disillusion surely deserve more credit than they got! Love all their albums, even (or especially!) the more experimental Gloria. 2004's Back to Times of Splendor is just an incredible epic journey that sucks you in. Definitely recommended from start to finish.

I almost fell out of my chair! I’m so thrilled that you like the band! They are working on their next album now. 2019 album The Liberation is one of the best albums I have ever heard. Straight through listening is a sublime trip. “Progressive Supremacy” is a true statement. Leipzig, Germany is home base for the band. Andy Schmidt, deeply talented leader is the only person in the band who does not work a regular job, thanks to the loyal supporters of Disillusion via Patreon. We are deeply invested in more ways than just the financial realm. I want the world to hear and fall in love with the band, like I did. I’m all in with Disillusion.
