Dave has probably done every drug known, died once, beat throat cancer, and spine surgery, still is a beast on the guitar and still doing tours. Goddamn a legend
Definitely my top three favourite Megadeth songs, Mustaine voice isn’t as it used to after his battle with cancer but he performed great as usual nevertheless.
ye dave unfortunately got diagnosed with lung cancer some time back, its very hard for him to sing like on the recording now, this is the only real way to avoid lip syncing which would suck.
Rust in Peace was recorded in E standard tuning. Dave Mustaine/Megadeth have been playing in D Standard since around 2012 when they did the 20th anniversary of Countdown to Extinction.
@@henryt2229 Mustaine has never had lung cancer?? You're confusing it with his throat cancer battle he had in 2019. Mustaine had previously had neck and spine surgery (stenosis) in 2011 which affected his singing capabilities.
Man.. and people hate on James Hetfield and say he can't sing. Dave is a awesome guitars but even way before the whole health issues like literally the entire existence of Megadeth he was and has never been a good singer. I'd rather just watch him play guitar and play the songs as instrumentals.
He actually used to be a great singer, especially between 1992 and 1995. He had a range back then. I feel like his voice started to deteriorate in late 2010.
@@piotrcharvelmajka The Gibsons honestly sound way heavier, more distinct, and lively compared to his Dean guitars he was using the five years prior. They sounded weak, shrill, and ugly. Could have been because of his pickups he was using, his signature Seymour Duncan active pickups, but I don't think so.
@@VicSellsPeace I have absolutely no complaints about the sound of Gibson guitars :) My opinion concerns only appearance :) I'm not a big fan of flying-V style guitars, but if I had to choose one, it would be Jackson Randy Rhoads :) And whatever we may say about how a brand sounds, it's all a matter of money. Mustaine made enough $$$ to play a guitar whose headstock looks like the headstock of an ice hockey stick :-D

That's good, that Dave deals with singing after cancer.
The lead guitar has Marty’s tone in tact sounds good.

This is the first thing I heard from Megadeth!!!!!👍🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Megadeth are great. This is the actitud.
yeah!!!!!Dave Mustaine! Ur the Man! The Best of all the Best!!!!!!
Great performance. Is it just me or are the guitars tuned down to D standard instead of Eb like on the recording?
They are. Tough to sing like 30 years ago. I for one appreciate Dave is still doing this.

Strings feel like wet noodles when I tune to D standard. I love it. Lol

The guy beat cancer and is still up there killing it on guitar
Nothing like a wall of Marshalls man.
So sad.........😔
Still kicks ass
in D tuning this sound pretty cool

Металлика- Команда. Megadeth - игра одного актера.
Что поделать, если актёр все на себе тянет) Хотя без своих соло-гитаристов он бы наверное настолько многого не добился
