Thanks for visiting John & From the Ground Up Fam!!! We appreciate all the great feedback on labeling and branding from the community & can't wait to see what you create next. 👆🚀
I retired from Ford Motors back then, we had a (2) two weeks shutdown to Launch the next year car line. Today, I see the vision and I will be ready to join the Academy 2022 Valentine’s Day. I know your communities and family is proud of you. Thanks.
The production of this intro had us in some of the most interesting parts of LA 😂 this video I hope helps a lot of you understand how you can use this service to help you start and build your ideas for your next line!
I used Apliiq for print on demand dropsipping for a while, and here's some things I noticed. - Their website is full of glitches that will make you have to constantly contact them to clarify things with your orders or designs. You may be charged twice for an item, or your customer will recieve the wrong item because of a glitch on their end. - Quality is very hit and miss. Your sample will be great, but subsequent orders that go to your customers might have poor quality embroidery, misplaced designs, etc. Also, the quality of their basic 1301 Streetwear tee seemed to change - some orders it was a darker or lighter black, some had loose threads, etc. I found it hard to trust that Apliiq would actually send out a decent order, and when you're trying to keep consistency in your brand and designs, this can be very tiring. - Their customer service is excellent, though. And they will fix any problems. Alas, sometimes it's just too late.
@@michaelessel7443 I believe Apliiq give a 7 day timeframe in which they aim to make and ship out all orders. I've never had any orders that weren't shipped out within the 7 days. Shipping times within the US are usually about 9-11 days for your customer to recieve their order. Again, this isn't good. If you see a shirt you want but the shipping time could be up to 2 weeks, it's gonna put you off. I'm not sure how Apliiq could improve on this (I don't know how they run their business), and it could just be the way the logistics are, but a 2 week shipping time will put customers off. Shipping to outside the US is about 3-4 weeks. Again, a long time.
Let me tell you a hard way which is probably the better way, go learn how to do heat press and screen printing single or two colors that is not too hard. You could also outsource to local screen printing shop. The downside of print on demand is that you don’t have control over print quality and most time them are really bad. I am a customer of Apliiq and some other print on demand companies. I tried the easy way but now I am ready to give up. The way how they do the cheap packaging and cheap print quality the color which doesn’t last for two wash. I am buying printing equipment to do myself. At the end of day you need to have total control over the quality and customer experience if you are really want to build a successful brand.
Dammm i learned so much from you guys like honestly i thought had this but u guys open my eyes to a total new world thanks guys i will share my work with u all when i have it on a good enough level
John. Another great and informative video with Ian and his crew at Apliiq. I'm a HUGE fan of both. I'm looking forward to launching my apparel brand soon. Thanks for all of your great video content and interviews with the individual manufactures that are making dreams come true for start-up entrepreneurs. I'm looking forward to meeting you John in the not to distant future.

Can you cover the following marketing question on a video? Should you wait to start a brand until you have a social media following? Or should you start the brand and then seek the audience?
From my experience, you should start the brand then seek the audience. That way you can develop connections prior to releasing clothing, further meaning that you are able to better understand your audience, what they want, and test designs through personal feedback before you release them for sale.
Sam my advise is go local, unfortunately I have dealt with appliq after watching one of these videos and it was a horrible experience customer service wasn’t what you expected So look for someone in your area Appliq would be good if you live in the US outside the US don’t bother Also save the money and go screen printing too many mistakes with placement with print on demand companies plus the print doesn’t last as long So for your brands image screen printing is definitely the way to go Take the time to develop your brand no need to rush with Print on demand
@@michaelgrak4048 Thanks so much! That’s what I have been doing. I launched my business a few months ago and things have been going great! I have been able to take the time to make sure the quality and prints are exactly what I want. Totally agree!
John I really like your videos but what if you wanna be a printshop service for print on demand inknow you can have your own website but how is possible with not programming experience to have a Shopify print on demand app that integrates with other Shopify websites for your printing demand business service?
sorry but I had to laugh at the words "beautiful and downtown LA" lol those two words usually don't mesh - all in all - was a great video - helped out a lot
I am looking to have B2B website designer on my website for print on demand use but have no idea if there are existing options. I know I can ask B2B clients to just send me a design file but I want them to have the ability to design on the website easily to help those b2b clients with no design experience or budget could design simple stuff on the website itself and that file is sent to me automatically to print.
I am a start-up E-Comm seller I have my website all setup and READY ( whew a lot of work ) I am based in Montreal Canada Do you know of a service like the one shown here that can service my clients? I am doing Coffee Mugs T-Shirts Hoodies Tote Bags and so much more Yup Baseball Caps as well { LOL }
@@johnxsantos I’ve been doing research and preparing to launch my clothing brand later this year. I still have to get my LLC which I plan to this month but I’ve been researching and shopping around. I prefer quality over quantity, I’ve been looking into Supima but it’s on the expensive side for starting out so my eyes have been set on Bella Canvas.
Can't know how I stopmed onto this. Anyway Damn good content ❤️. I also have been watching those rather similar from mStarTutorials and kinda wonder how you guys create these stuff. MStar Tutorials also had cool info about similiar things on his channel.

Should you get your logo registered or trademarked before you start producing branded apparel?
This is my concern, quality. I ordered some sample from Printful and was very underwhelmed. Looking at other print on demand to test samples.
Doesn’t that affect shipping times if they have to order the item after the dropship order comes in?
Great video as always
Appreciate that
Do you have to buy their own clothes? Or do you provide them the clothes you want labelled? Printed etc?
Excellent video.
Is there any free stores to use besides shopify?
Does anyone know if there is an Apliiq alternative in Canada?
How often do you come down to LA?
Todo podría aplicar para México también?
can we ship our own blank labels ?
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
