Hi Shimmy. I decided to place an order after watching your video. Order was placed 3/8/2022, I received a shipping notification on 3/15/2022, and received my order 3/29/2022. I purchased the women’s cotton cropped tee for $6.65, paid $1.99 for the custom tag, paid $6.60 for shipping, and received a $1.00 discount using your code. So all in it cost me $14.24 USD. I too liked that my image seemed like it was printed into the shirt where you could not feel a difference, but that’s where my pros end. The shirt itself had a little bit of stretch to it, but was kinda stiff. Crops are supposed to add a little sexiness and nothing was sexy about the shirt. My image looked washed out, and not vibrant enough. There was bleeding on a letter. The lettering was yellow but it was black bleeding/shading around just one letter. To top it off I did not get the custom tag I paid for! So I’m going to pass on HugePOD for now and continue my search. Although I have not figured out what company I want to use yet, thank you for your videos because they have been a big help.
Hey! That's terrible! You should complain to them and get a full refund! Quality should and NEEDS to be consistent across all orders they get. My only thought about the image not being as vibrant would be, if you designed in RGB it would look more vibrant as it's printing in CMYK which tends to look more dull. However, everything else is unacceptable from them and you should get your money back
If no one told you today, you're appreciated. 👊🏾 I'm in the research and comparison stage of my POD store and I happened upon your channel today and subscribed and been throughly going through your vidz. Thanks family. Blessings.
For about a year I was using Printful; when Shimmy's Printailor video came out I immediately started switching over and I have been loving the lower prices and great quality; however Printailor does NOT have all over print crewneck (which are my favorite) and the production/shipping has been 3-4 weeks on average for my customers. @@shimmymorris1 I've only been using HugePOD for a little over a month, I really like working with them. Yoycol looks good on paper but I haven't tested them. Your reviews are spot on 💯 If you like Yoycol better I'll go with them 💯
@@sexymary Nice, I heard Yoycol is good. How do you think they stack up against HugePOD? (I'm currently torn between the two lol, but haven't tested Yoycol myself)
Hey! Shimmy great video! As a seller based in European Union, I'm a bit stressed with POD companies shipping from China. When buying goods online from a non-European Union country, customs and excise duties are likely to be paid on top of the advertised purchase price.
I could never possibly sell products to my customers and expect them to wait three or four weeks for them. My focus is customer service first. Customers will pay for quality ,but they want quick shipping that's reliable.
They have a broad selection of clothes, but like too many POD companies, they overlook the home decor category. They'll have to get it together on more than clothes to earn my business.
China can make very comfy and good quality shirts & shoes (export quality). Without knowing anything about Hugepod, I guessed it is a China company after putting up a design. 1) Very low-priced shipping cost reminds me of Aliexpress. 2) Spelling mistake on one of their pages 3) Small boxes when filling in forms and overall basic, simple, purely functional website. I am actually looking for this type of print. It lasts for many washes & because it's part of the fabric, it doesn't peel off and it's natural-looking. Also, it is now common for China sellers to demonstrate by washing their merchandise in a video on a selling platform to show that their colours do not wash out, do not wrinkle, do not tear (they will use a sharp-edged scissors to score across the fabric).
The prints you're dating are woven into thre pieces were probably created through the screen print process onto the t-shirt so it won't crack in the wash or dryer, might fade after a while depending on the dyes they used and if they stopped it or not
Actually it’s sublimation so it’s permanent and won’t fade or come off at all. And it’s good to know that they still offer that so cheap because I believe that’s usually more expensive (at least on Printful) due to being a more complicated high tech process. I don’t know exactly how it works but I know Printful is able to do it somewhat sustainably with plant based ink, minimal water use etc. (though it’s normally only done on polyester which isn’t a very eco-friendly fabric) so hopefully they do that too.
@@Teddyiscute can I have a link to where they say it's sublimation please? I highly doubt it would be and their prices so low, hence the screen printing process. They create one screen and can print that print endlessly forever.
Great video SHIMMY! I saw a video from another UA-camr end of Jan about HugePOD but after the first few minutes of this video I knew it was time to order some samples! Your discount code came in clutch too so thanks for that! Looking forward to receiving my samples to see if I can diversify the POD suppliers I use.

I get a lot of information and use out of watching them.. I even save them to a playlist so that I can go back and check Out something that you said were reviewed. Thanks for all your hard work
I wish you would do a video on some of the not so goods. Would help us know what to watch for by example. Shouldn't only do the good. We as POD sellers need to know the good, the bad and the ugly.
HugePod has an incredibly slow processing time! My sample order was in “processing” mode for 3 weeks before I finally sent an email requesting my order to be canceled and refunded. I might try again later with HugePOD.
1. Glad you used a dryer as: A. You don't always do so, and B. In the U.S. we almost always dry everything 2. If you are making your vids primarily for the U.S. market you should know that what you are calling a "sweater" is a "sweatshirt". Not all of your viewers will understand. Here a sweater is a similar shape, but knitted. Traditionally from wool, but now often synthetic.

Have you tested the AOP print quality/alignment? Their image placement in quite rudimentary, compared to others like Printify, Sublimator or Yoycol. Seems like a leap of faith is required when designing AOP garments that require alignment for symmetry or aren't repeating patterns.

Hey Shimmy, thanks for another great video. Can you please make one on Yoycol? I'll be ordering samples from them in the next couple of days and so far their prices seem to be the most economical? As always what we most want to know is prices versus quality! :)
This is a great news, but I only have one question though, how long this company operates? Because, You know when you build a store for long term, of course you have to make sure that it doesn't close anytime soon because the supplier decided to close their company. I have battling with the shipping side of things on Etsy, for a few days now and I'm ready to throw the towel in! Please may you - you sound experienced enough to figure this out for us foreigners, PLEASE. Thank you so much!
Annoyingly shipping with Etsy can be an absolute ball ache because of taxes in various countries. Set certain shipping rates or increase your prices and just offer free shipping
Until they integrate etsy, you can operate on a Dropship model. You will just physically place the order with Hugepod when a customer orders from your shop
That wouldn't work for me. Read I am disabled and and need the fulfillment chillment model instead of doing the drop shipping method. I physically can't handle that periodI physically can't handle that.
As someone who's dealt with Chinese manufacturers for 10+ years... I'd say 4/10 times the order never arrives to it's destination. It's usually not the companies fault, the fault is with customs & the logistics of shipping something from a country exporting millions of products a day. Your package is essentially a needle in a haystack and with almost half my products never arriving to my customers I tend to stay away from companies in China.
I've been ordering from China for 10+ years too and only one order got messed up. So it's hard to draw conclusions from individual results. It's better to find studies or surveys of what peoples experience have been making orders from China. I do understand the concern though, it's definitely easier and quicker to fulfil from your own country.
Hehe, I ordered a T-shirt from them on December 6, 2021. They sent it on December 30, 2021. They missed my address, so the T-shirt came back, in the meantime I ordered some more things to see the quality. Today is February 19, 2022, I still haven't received anything.
@@shimmymorris1 What I noticed is that they respond to email once a day so if you send a reply, you will get a response the next day.So a conversation on a topic can take days.In the meantime, they sent me at least 30 emails of various nonsense and advice that no one needs.Mostly promoting themselves. They made a mistake in the address to which they should send. I have lived at that address for 20 years and they suggest in one of my emails that I should change my address. At first I couldn’t believe they were so rude and then I started laughing. In my answer, I asked them if they thought it was a good way to run a business.I could tell you about them as much as you want but I am tolerant because they changed the website because when I ordered the t-shirt the website was different and they had about 50 products and now they have 250.They generally have problems with the website because the information you leave does not match the information the website remembers. All in all, it is obvious that he will learn the hard way what business is.

These POD companies are REALLY taking advantage of their shopowner customers charging insane high prices and many shipping costs are double the product costs! How stupid do they think we are??? Someone needs to do a comparative analysis of product cost, shipping costs, shipping timeframe and then tie in another analysis with each of the Shopify, Etsy, etc. listing and subscription costs. If you identify the REAL profit after paying all these fees, you'll see we're all working for these companies and getting a fraction of the profits. The majority of the UA-cam videos claiming to make hundreds of thousands of dollars I'm sure are reporting their total sales, NOT total profit. There are solutions if we form a group. Shimmy.... let's talk!

Thanks for sharing. And that looks good in terms of quality and pricing but a huge CON is the shipping time. Customers are less and less willing to wait 3-4 weeks for a t-shirt or a hoody. Unless it has a very fantastic and unique design 🤷
yes this is very annoying, and I don't think any company who operates out of china, or that part of the world will be able to have fast shipping!

Haha awesome! You’ve been using them a while?
Yoycol needs testing too. It’s on the list
@@shimmymorris1 I've only been using HugePOD for a little over a month, I really like working with them.

@@sexymary Nice, I heard Yoycol is good. How do you think they stack up against HugePOD?
(I'm currently torn between the two lol, but haven't tested Yoycol myself)
how long was the shipping time?
Hey! Shimmy great video! As a seller based in European Union, I'm a bit stressed with POD companies shipping from China. When buying goods online from a non-European Union country, customs and excise duties are likely to be paid on top of the advertised purchase price.
ye it can be a real problem. You should look into Gelato. They have fulfilment centres everywhere
I could never possibly sell products to my customers and expect them to wait three or four weeks for them. My focus is customer service first. Customers will pay for quality ,but they want quick shipping that's reliable.
you're totally right! It's a really hard ask. It baffles me that dropshipping is such a huge industry!
They have a broad selection of clothes, but like too many POD companies, they overlook the home decor category. They'll have to get it together on more than clothes to earn my business.
ye that's true!
So the two downsides to them seem to be not integrated with any of the sites I use and also the long shipping. People want fast shipping today.
Yes that’s very true. Fast shipping is important. This is more like dropshipping
Also, it is now common for China sellers to demonstrate by washing their merchandise in a video on a selling platform to show that their colours do not wash out, do not wrinkle, do not tear (they will use a sharp-edged scissors to score across the fabric).
interesting!
The prints you're dating are woven into thre pieces were probably created through the screen print process onto the t-shirt so it won't crack in the wash or dryer, might fade after a while depending on the dyes they used and if they stopped it or not
awesome! good to know
Actually it’s sublimation so it’s permanent and won’t fade or come off at all.
Thank you for this review. I preety much gave up on POD because I am increasingly frustrated with printful.
i hear! and they're getting more expensive now! crazy

I wish you would do a video on some of the not so goods. Would help us know what to watch for by example. Shouldn't only do the good. We as POD sellers need to know the good, the bad and the ugly.
Oh im going to! That’s very much in my plan
HugePod has an incredibly slow processing time! My sample order was in “processing” mode for 3 weeks before I finally sent an email requesting my order to be canceled and refunded. I might try again later with HugePOD.

1. Glad you used a dryer as: A. You don't always do so, and B. In the U.S. we almost always dry everything
2. If you are making your vids primarily for the U.S. market you should know that what you are calling a "sweater" is a "sweatshirt". Not all of your viewers will understand. Here a sweater is a similar shape, but knitted. Traditionally from wool, but now often synthetic.
P.S. "joggers" in the U.S. are "sweatpants"

Have you tested the AOP print quality/alignment? Their image placement in quite rudimentary, compared to others like Printify, Sublimator or Yoycol. Seems like a leap of faith is required when designing AOP garments that require alignment for symmetry or aren't repeating patterns.
It does seem all over the place, I want to do a side by side test with a whole bunch of companies for AOP

Until they integrate etsy, you can operate on a Dropship model. You will just physically place the order with Hugepod when a customer orders from your shop
you could do that for sure
That wouldn't work for me. Read I am disabled and and need the fulfillment chillment model instead of doing the drop shipping method. I physically can't handle that periodI physically can't handle that.

awesome! good luck. Start with samples
I bet the silky one is SUBLIMATION Shimmy.

That’s absolutely shocking and unacceptable! What have they said to the complaint emails?

The problem is the shipping time. NO ONE in US wants to wait more than a week for a product.
that's totally true!
Shimmy.... let's talk!
