When cleaning your trottle body with a trottle body cleaner (solvent or spray) always remove the trottle body. Do not allow the solvent to get inside the intake of you engine because it can foul your spark plug causing your engine not to start and creating additional problems.
📌 Very Important.. 1. If throttle body barrel is not fully cleaned, 2. If engine has some extra blow by gases, 3. If the spark plug gap is excessive, (more than 1.1 mm) This vibration will not go off fully like in this video.. After completing all this procedure, turn off ignition switch, remove 2 fuses from engine fuse box, 1. ECTS 2. EFI main For 60 seconds and fix them again.. Now start the engine and see the results.. 📍This engine has (MAP) Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor, that is not Mass Air Flow (MAF sensor)
If you are cleaning the throttle body and you have either a button or key start it really does not matter. What matters is that you remove the throttle body before cleaning. If however you are unsure about what you are doing, it would be best to allow your mechanic to do this for you.
My Vitz 2013 having same problem of vibration while slowing or stopping the Car, by switching on the hazard light. this is reduced while is switch on AC. I did this complete procedure of cleaning but problem still there.

The main part that goes bad and increases vibration is the ' Hydro engine support' on the vehicle. It's the one on the left when opening the hood. In the video, your idle is going down and below 700 rpm as the engine is getting to its operating temperature, the cause of vibration. 1krfe 1.0 should be around 750 rpm.
I have a 2010 Toyota Passo which is three cylinder's how do I stop the vibrations . It vibrates at idle stop and whenever AC is on at a idle stop or when put in reverse?
@@grimmyboss2079change your engine mounts, mainly the hydraulic one. Have the throttle body cleaned. Change your spark plugs to Iridium ones. I did all of the above and 95 percent of the vibration is gone. If it persists, check the ignition coils and the belt for slippage.
I personally faced the same problem with my vitz 2007. I resolved the problem. How ? There is a small "LK screw also called allen screw" on throttle body covered with some kind of sealent/silicon type material. Remove that silicon and tight (clockwise) with Allen Screw driver.(Perform this while engine is switched off). Start the engine and check if problem still exists repeat the action. i resolve it with 2.5 full clock wise rotation.
@@ShelDockToyotaVitz its tiny screw. All second generation vitz (2005 to 2010)have this screw. Might be third gen did not have this screw. Its on your front while standing in front of car. Its located below plastic portion/part of throttle. Normally its found below the electrice wires of throttle

If the MAF sensor needs cleaning it can cause engine vibration. Cleaning the sensor will stop the vibration. Remember though that several problem can contribute to engine vibration.
Usually when you switch to heating the cabin of your vehicle by turning the knob from cool to heating you automatically close the cooling vents and open the heating vents in the dashboard. If when you you have a knob to switch this function you should hear a thinking sound when being switch from cooling to heating. First check this function before doing anything else.
It hasn’t been reduced, the car was cold. It will be the same if the engine is hot. I have vitz 2013 and it has the same problem. I cleaned the throttle body, cat and spark plugs, nothing changed. Now going for the fuel injectors and fuel pump, lets see what happens.
For my 2011 vitz it has helped because the vibration is not as bad as it was. Even now driving for long distances it still is good enough. Hopefully you can find a solution for your issue.
@@TheAndyplaylist i had this vibration for three years i have vitz 2012 ksp130 i clean throttle body every week and map sensor nothing help all parts air cleaner original i week ago i decided to clean the EGR its under the air box on the right side i had to remove the inlet ,now i clean it very well and from now the engine no vibration at all i reset it and now no little vibration . this is the solution for these 3 cyl cars TRUST ME good luck
You can as long as it is sprayed on and not wiped. You should not pour it on either. It should be left to properly dry before reconnecting. Also you need to ensure the gasoline is clean.
Are you sure the vibration is gon... Not possible in this engine..... Now maybe okay but after you drive your car make a new video.... I think the vibration comeback again...
I have been driving my car for about a month now since I cleaned the throttle body and valve. Vibration is about 5%, not fully gone but significantly reduced.
@@bilalrafique1668 If your idle rpm is a bit too much then dirt somewhere on either the throttle body cylinder or the valve is preventing it from closing properly. Sometimes when cleaning, dirt may be pushed or lodge in areas preventing proper closing of the valve. Ensure all areas around the cylinder and valve is properly cleaned. There is a rubber gasket under the throttle body. If not seated properly then air may escape under it causing higher than usual idle rpm.

Its best you use a cleaner specifically for the Mass Airflow Sensor. Resedue left on the sensor because of an incorrect cleaner can damage the sensor.

Vibration is greatly reduced but not completely gone. Am still working on a solution.

Can I use gasoline to clean MAF sensor?
You can as long as it is sprayed on and not wiped. You should not pour it on either. It should be left to properly dry before reconnecting. Also you need to ensure the gasoline is clean.
Can the brake/carburetor cleaner be used?
Yes it can be used to help clean the trottle body. You also need to use a rough cloth to scrub away some of the particles because it can be stubborn.
Check PVC valve, might be stuck open...

unfortunately , this isnt Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, this sensor is called MAP sensor
I know in my vehicle it uses a manifold absolute pressure sensor- MAP for short.

When you switch the ac on you should hear the engine idle rpm increase. If this does not happen try idle code re-learn.
