yup yup...looked around and haven't seen anyone do a behind-the-scenes "making of a video"..i know that editing is a pain, but i know a lot of people would appreciate this video..great work Patrick.

I have a question when recording audio let’s say you’re making a flight and you’re using ATC and things like that. Do you record with all sounds in the headphones so that when you talk, you don’t hear a repeated sound from the speakers coming up, hitting the microphone and so on or is there a specific way where you can hear everything in the video without any feedback do you have to use all sounds in headphones or do some sounds go on your speakers and some on your headphones how exactly do you do it?

hey great vid! what resolution do you have your MFS 2020 running on ? Im not sure if you have to match the resolution of the screen or not ? Id appreciate the help. because 1:34 it looks like the view its not wider like the full wide screen , it looks like its either zoomed in from the cockpit view ? or something like 1080 to give you the cockpit view more zoomed in ?
I run the sim at 1440 and then I record just that portion of the screen on my screen recorder but the output is my monitor resolution which is 1440x5140. For the zoom I just use a base zoom in the camera settings but I position the head view where I think it looks close to a real perspective.
No never. You mainly need to worry about music. Some that say copyright free might come back and strike you a year or two later. But nothing happens. Just means your video loses monetization or it goes to the music creator.

Love your process! Thanks for the in depth breakdown. I use DaVinci Resolve, free version as opposed to Premier.
How did you get the bird strike?
@@Belatu42 thank you! That’s a feature in X-Plane. You can do it with any plane, but those specific details are from the Airfoillabs 172.
