I think the goal was removing the urine odor which hydrogen peroxide and baking soda do. Removing any staining was not the goal from the what I can see from the title. Different problem. This method neutralizes strong odor of urine that penetrates floor seals and crevices in and around the bowl. Helps odor from staying on the porcelain too. Some cleaners remove stains and disinfect but cant remove odor. Hopes this helps.

Absolute nonsense. That wasn't hydrogen peroxide that was added, nor does dish soap or detergent typically have disinfectant properties!
What is in the bottle labeled hydrogen peroxide?
