Loved the video, I'll definitely have to try some of these recipes! You could try making one of my favourite Singaporean Malay desserts ~ Kuih Seri Muka :3
Little disclaimer, the original recipe for pierogi (the dough at least haha) is actually vegan ❤️ It is just flour, salt, oil and warm water. And for pierogi ruskie it is much better to prepare your own fried onion, trust me! Still, lots of love from Poland ❤️❤️
As a vegan from Spain, most of us make the tortilla de patatas with a chickpea flour+water+spices base to substitute the eggs, it's also high in protein and you don't have to blend it! Most of the work goes into frying the potatoes. Once the mixture is on the pan you only have to flip the tortilla. We love it, even nonvegans :3
@@jenjen3041 I love the chickpea version! I don't cut the potatoes and onions in rings but in big and thin slices (I usually use a big potato or two medium size ones and half an onion, for me and my sister, but feel free to use as much onion as u want, there's people that don't even use it). Add to the pan a huge amount of vegetable oil or olive oil to cook the onions a little bit and then add the potatoes. There's people that like to fry them with a lot of oil but if u don't want to, u can use less or just use water to cook them. While these cook, make the substitute of the egg, what I do is mix 14 to 16 tablespoons of the chickpea flour and the same quantity of water (probably like a glass) and then add turmeric to give the yellow color, salt (better if it's the pink or black one but the regular one is also okay), pepper and I add garlic powder too, taste it and add more if you want to. When the potatoes are cook and golden brown on the sides, remove them and the onions from the pan and put them into the bowl with the mix and combine everything together. Then, in a smaller pan, add a little bit of oil so the mix doesn't stick (the pan has to be smaller because the tortilla de patatas has to be thick). I use medium heat to cook it, between 3 and 6 minutes. Then u have to flip the tortilla, so but a plate above the pan and flip, then put the side that wasn't cooking into the pan and wait again the same minutes u used in the other side. I would actually check the tortilla when 3 minutes had passed, just in case it burns. Once it is golden in both sides u can serve it. I top it with mayonnaise or ketchup☺️.
@@jenjen3041 @Jen Jen I don't use a recipe but the one she gave you is nice to have as a reference, specially if you haven't tried it before. I cook everything in the same pan (24cm diameter) and if it's nonstick you don't need more than 3tbsp of oil although most people from Spain would say that's impossible, this is the land of olive oil lmao. I also add to the "egg" a tsp of vinegar to cut the chickpea taste a bit and sometimes some baking powder to make it fluffier. Good luck on your tortilla adventure ^^
Brigadeiro, also from Brazil! It's the most popular dessert here. The usual version is made of condensed milk. For the vegan version, I recommend making your own condensed milk instead of buying a vegan one. Here's the recipe I normally do: Blend 2 cups of soaked cashews with water (just enough to cover the nuts) and then strain the milk. Bring your cashew milk to a pan with 200g of sugar. Mix until it gets a little thicker. Add about 80-100g of chopped chocolate + 1 tbs of cacao powder. Keep stirring until it releases from the pan. Let it cool (it'll get even thicker) and then shape it into balls. You can pass the balls in chocolate sparkles or chocolate powder for a fancier presentation. If you don't feel like doing all that, you can also eat straight from the pan, we call that "brigadeiro de colher" it's so good for those lazy days when all you wanna do is watch Netflix and eat some chocolate! ❤️🇧🇷
Another homeade recipe of condensed milk is one cup of vegan powered milk (I like the coconut one), half a cup of hot water and some suggar. Just blend everything and repeat the process to cook the brigadeiro. It isn't the true recipe but is quicker lol
As an Indian, i can say we have a lotttttttttt of vegetarian dishes(ik its bit different from vegan) in variety of flavours and taste. Love from India🙏❤️

Hey mina! It's me the meatball Elsa :) I forgott the comma between the sugar and the pasta ähm hehe sorry for that... So it was supposed to be mashed preiselbeeren with sugar, and potatoes or pasta on the side. Really sorry to confuse you!! But I'm very happy you recreated my recipe!
Hello Mina, I'm brazilian and I loved your recipe, you combined two brazilian passions together. We would call this of "coxinha de feijoada!". I just loved it!
As a dessert from Sweden, you could try "havrebollar/chokladbollar" which translates to chocolate balls made from oats. You just mix oats, melted dark chocolate (or just cacao powder), sugar, margarine, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, espresso ( just a few drops). Then you just form small balls and dip them in the coconut flakes. They taste better after a few hours in the fridge, oats become softer ❤️
India has the most number of vegans in the world and we lovee our food , there are endless dishes that you can try btw love your video's and love from INDIA♥️
@@rekabalogh1228 Yup , I am really proud of it and yes the food is this much amazing that you can even forget that you are not consuming any meat...I bet that♥️♥️
I loved this video!I have a hungarian dessert idea for you:sweet quark dumplings!I've seen a lot of people subtituing the quark with very soft cooked millet, then sugar, vanilla and lemon zest are added, then they form balls out of it and coat it with toasted breadcrumbs. We traditionally eat it with sweetened sour cream or jam.
As a Brazilian I need to say that you nailed these lentil coxinhas! And for desert I recommend brigadeiro, it's a classic must try for tourists here! Loved the video :)
Coxinha is really amazing! I was surprised to see it here and also very proud, I must say. Brazilian food is incredible... It is what I miss the most from my country 🤭 thank you for this video! It was a great one!
Can't believe you did a coxinha filled with feijoada. You took our recipe to another level!!!!! YOU'RE AMAZING, MINA! I'll be trying your version as soon as possible! Kisses from Brazil 🇧🇷❤️
Parathas with potatoes in them are also so good!! (leftover aloo saag is always a winner) I find a good way to stop them tearing is to slightly roll out two pieces, then sandwich the filling between and seal the sides. Then it's easier to roll out thinly!! :)
I've been wanting to try more European foods so will definitely be doing the Pierogi and Swedish meatballs. I actually made vegan goulash recently and it was one of the best things I've ever made. It's so cool seeing everyone come together to share a bit of their culture with others.
There are SO many ways to make Parathas (a modified version of flatbread). The stuffings vary from spiced mashed potatoes, or plainly mashed sweet potato eaten with a syrup (preferably date syrup) , or even dumpling stuffings... It's literally endless 😘
Thank u for trying to make Okonomiyaki. Really nice to see u tried our one of the popular food in Japan 🇯🇵 Also would u like to try making mochi for dessert next?
You should try "arancine", it's a Sicilian recipe which it looks like the Brazilian dish but they are made out of rice and inside there is usually ragù or butter, cheese and prosciutto. We have chocolate ones too! You would love it. Also, arancine is part of the "tavola calda" which are different varieties of baked goods. So tasty
Someone PLEASE send this amazing woman a set of pots and pans with lids that fit!!! She needs some!! That food looks SOOOO amazing!!! I will have to try them!
The fact that this started with pierogi ruskie just warms my heart ❤️ they are literally the love of my life. Also, when it comes to Polish cooking, I would recommend pyry z gzikiem :D
Hey Mina! Try to recreate some italian almond paste cookies! They're super easy to make and naturally gluten free and I absolutely love them! Some of my favourite treats ever! Just need to mix almond flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, vanilla and almond extract and some plant milk! So niceee
Hi! Mina you have to try arroz con leche and aborrajados from Colombia. Arroz con leche it's a dessert, and it basically means rice and milk. In Colombia we add cinnamon, condensed milk, little lemon cest, sugar or panela, and raisins! We also add some really salty chesse as a topping, but that's optional. Aborrajados are not really a dessert, but it's sweet so uwu. They are roasted ripe bananas (more like plantains ) with chesse and bocadillo (a guava sweet) it's amazing !!! Hope you try them out
And I forgot! In aborrajados the plantain is supose to be fryed/roasted with a little oil, and is cut in half, but not all the way through (like a hotdog), Is there where you put the chesse and the guava sweet ! ;)
I’m so happy to see this series! I’ve wanted to see something like this since discovering Beryl’s channel. I hope it becomes a regular thing. Truly special not only to see these international dishes, but to see them veganized 😍👏🏽💖🔥 I’m excited to try the Brazilian recipes too as I’ve never had that food before. I might just have perogis tonight… frozen store bought, but they’re delicious and vegan 🥰😆
Please do as a series from around the world!!! Food is a way of connecting to people and vegans often miss out on that, this is a great way to reconnect and make food for loved ones and experience other cultures. Love vegan country videos, they are my favorite!!!
Hiii I'm the girl who suggested the coxinhas. And I have to say: they look amazing!!! Some people make them with too much dough or don't fry them for long enough. But yours looked perfect. I'm glad you tried and liked it!! Kisses 😘🇧🇷

Indian “gujiya” are very similar to the polish dumplings. They have a sweet coconut filling but the only major difference I can think of is they are deep fried PS: yup it did watch till the end so letting you in the comments as asked by you ☺️
Mina thank you so much for including my suggestion for vegan pierogi ❤️❤️❤️ I'm more than excited to try these and especially with the sweet filling 🥺 other recipies sounds super yummy too! oh and the gossip girl reference yaassss

I love this concept! I would like to see more specific regions like foods from one continent? Or maybe like south Europe, east Asia or the Middle East?
Great video; great ideas. For your dessert follow-up, and as an Australian, might I suggest you try making Lamingtons (cake), Pavlova (meringue-based), Iced Vovo's (cookie) or Anzac biscuits (cookies). 🇦🇺
¡Coxinhas and tortilla de patatas! I'm so thankful you made a vegan version for these 🥺 I'm going to try the okonomiyaki one as well, because I saw a recipe by Lidl and loved it 💜 thank you! These are always so nice to watch, your voice is so calming and sweet (very different from what I'm used to hearing from Germans 😂 and I yell in Spanish).
As a brazilian, I am stunned with the mix of Coxinha and Feijoada, these are two dishes I would never ever combine. But there you go. Glad you enjoyed lol

There is a restaurant in Duluth, Mn that does a vegan Okonomiyaki. It is SOOOOOOOO yummy and I LOVE that you just showed me how to make it!! As a side note, try adding some kimchi! SOOOOOOOOO good!
Awesome idea to feature foods from all different countries! I love culture, but as a vegan, the food part can feel like I'm adding restrictions when I travel. So this is super fun and really interesting!! Yay!
Great video! I'm from Poland and Pierogis are ineed one of the most famous dishes of our country. I also love vegan options of them, for example with tofu, cabbage&mushroom, spinach or as you told - sweet version with fruits. Heaven! xx
Hello from Sweden! The traditional way of eating meatballs is with boiled potatoes, thin gravy, lingon berry sauce and pickled cucumbers. It's so yummy
I cant believe you made pierogi. Love from Poland 🇵🇱❤ Also a quick tip from a polish person lol Peal the potatoes before boiling them :) thats how we do it here You wont burn your fingers that way
From my countryside in Poland, my family peels potatoes after they boiled them because they say that they taste better and they are less watery. You just wait until they become colder and then you peel them without burning your fingers 😊
its already a vegan desert (adding heavy cream is optional), but i'd love to see your take on tembleque! its very popular here in puerto rico, especially during the holidays and its sooo good especially with cinnamon on top!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS VIDEO!! I totally recommend you making Namoura , a Lebanese dessert that is widely known in the Middle East but is called different named. Its a vegan dessert once you use vegan butter in it and its SOOO GOOD

I am Swede myself and I was trying to figure out what sugar pasta was🤔😂
Hey Elsa, My name is also Elsa:)
And thats funny with the comma haha
Sorry, but I laughed! What a great mix-up!! A friend of mine as a kid liked to eat pasta with cinnamon and sugar - so sugar pasta could be a thing 😂
hahaha no worries! thank you for your recipe it was so so yum :)
@@Molscheira that sounds kinda good. i like to eat chocolate and then pasta, so i can imagian it being good 😋
Everyone in the comment section is talking about pierogi
As they should be
I am a simple, Polish girl. I see pierogi, I click thumb up 😍 Thank you for this video
for ruskie pierogi i recommend firm tofu, potatoes, lemon juice, friend onion, salt, pepper and nutmeg !
Gretting from Poland ♥
Hello Mina, I'm brazilian and I loved your recipe, you combined two brazilian passions together. We would call this of "coxinha de feijoada!". I just loved it!
it was such a good idea!
You have to try "Pastel de Nata" from Portugal, it's a pastry filled with vanilla custard
🙆
YESSSSSSSSS!!!! my favorite~ i love my pasteis natas so much ♥
I would LOVE to try a vegan version of it
Quero muito, juro
Just after i commented, I saw your comment! I was saying exactly the same. They are so good
I would give my right arm for a decent pastel de nata
Polskie pierogi hahaha I'm sending kisses from Poland ❤️❤️🥺
much love!!
Mina make polish food. Omg dreaaaaaaam
Polacy łączymy się ❤️
the way she says "coxinha" and "feijoada" i'm crying she's so cute (love from brazil
Omg. "Coxinha" from Brazil 🤧😍
It's so goooood 🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧 one of my FAVOURITES
I'd love for this to become a series!
Yes me too!
ok as a brazilian, the feijoada coxinhas are BIG BRAIN food like how have we never thought of this its genius

India has the most number of vegans in the world and we lovee our food , there are endless dishes that you can try btw love your video's and love from INDIA♥️
Just read an article about it today, and honestly, i got really suprised! You can be really proud of your beautyful country!
@@rekabalogh1228 Yup , I am really proud of it and yes the food is this much amazing that you can even forget that you are not consuming any meat...I bet that♥️♥️
Aloo paratha>>>>Paneer Paratha tho
@@rushmetofood can't agree moreeeeeeeee... But don't forget the curd.! Now that's straight heaven on earth!♥️😂
And Indian food is sooooo good 🤤
I loved this video!I have a hungarian dessert idea for you:sweet quark dumplings!I've seen a lot of people subtituing the quark with very soft cooked millet, then sugar, vanilla and lemon zest are added, then they form balls out of it and coat it with toasted breadcrumbs. We traditionally eat it with sweetened sour cream or jam.
Pierogi are the best!! Love from Poland ❤️
In shops in Poland I found a lot of versions of vegan pierogi, for example potatoes with tofu or tofu with broccoli, they are great!🥰
THIS IS NOT A DRILL MINA MADE COXINHA THIS IS NOT A DRILL 🚨🚨
ela não apenas fez coxinha, ela fez uma coxinha recheada de feijoada!!!
COXINHA DE FEIJOADA!!!!!
WOOOOO!!!!!
Coxinha with feijoada filling... And people say brazilians are creative... 🤣 🤣
Ela fez todos os brasileiros tristes com uma coxinha
As a Brazilian I need to say that you nailed these lentil coxinhas! And for desert I recommend brigadeiro, it's a classic must try for tourists here! Loved the video :)
Coxinha is really amazing! I was surprised to see it here and also very proud, I must say. Brazilian food is incredible... It is what I miss the most from my country 🤭 thank you for this video! It was a great one!
As an Indian it’s so wholesome to some of our recipes being used as well!!!
Indian food is amazing and I really love it, it definitely needs more representation on UA-cam and stuff
I was once invited to my dad’s indian friend’s family and the food is so delicious. I was grateful that there was no meat too :)
(leftover aloo saag is always a winner)
I find a good way to stop them tearing is to slightly roll out two pieces, then sandwich the filling between and seal the sides.
YAAASSS PIEROGI 🇵🇱 Love from Wroclaw!
cant imagine how much work you've put into these recipes! thank you so much mina
So tasty
omg i’m brazilian and this makes me so happy!!!!!!!
Someone PLEASE send this amazing woman a set of pots and pans with lids that fit!!! She needs some!!
That food looks SOOOO amazing!!! I will have to try them!
I watch these dinners while I eat my dinners at University. Such a chilled vibe, I love it!
So niceee
okay but whenever mina uploads the day just gets better
Please do more videos like this! I love seeing recipes from all around the world
Greetings from Poland!! you made my favorite pierogi 😎❤
Pierogi ruskie are best pierogi
greetings from poland!! i love your channel and im so happy that you included our traditional dish here
In aborrajados the plantain is supose to be fryed/roasted with a little oil, and is cut in half, but not all the way through (like a hotdog), Is there where you put the chesse and the guava sweet ! ;)
Omg thank you for trying pierogi! It’s my favourite food ever!!
if you're looking into brazilian food, Pastel is easily veganized and SO DANG GOOD
I’m so happy to see this series! I’ve wanted to see something like this since discovering Beryl’s channel. I hope it becomes a regular thing. Truly special not only to see these international dishes, but to see them veganized 😍👏🏽💖🔥
I’m excited to try the Brazilian recipes too as I’ve never had that food before. I might just have perogis tonight… frozen store bought, but they’re delicious and vegan 🥰😆
I'm not sure if Mina knew how many Polish subscribers she had 😅 🥰
Please do as a series from around the world!!! Food is a way of connecting to people and vegans often miss out on that, this is a great way to reconnect and make food for loved ones and experience other cultures. Love vegan country videos, they are my favorite!!!
A tip for the Tortilla de patata, you can do a regular one and substitute the eggs for water+besan flour! It’s amazing!!!
NO WAY YOU MADE PARATHA! These recipes are really cool I will try them.
I’m from Brazil and I loveeee coxinhaaaa. I loved the idea of filling it up with “feijoada”
Hiii I'm the girl who suggested the coxinhas. And I have to say: they look amazing!!!
Some people make them with too much dough or don't fry them for long enough. But yours looked perfect.
I'm glad you tried and liked it!!
Kisses 😘🇧🇷
Coxinhas are really the best, we can have it anytime of the day and it will be fullfilling anyway! Glad you made them!
would love for this to become a series!! 💕💕💕 This was so interesting to watch, amazing to see all these different dishes, expanding dish repertoire and palatte is always greatly appreciated 😊 each dish looks so delicious, now just have to decide upon the one to try out first 😅 thankyou Mina!!
I'm so happy to see coxinha hereee, happy you liked it
Haven't whatched the video yet, but being yours makes in good already!!
I love how you just made due with what you have and all your recipes are suitable for folks who have normal kitchens and don't have fancy equipment
Try "pastel de nata" from Portugal 🇵🇹 you're gonna love it 😍
I was so happy to see brazil in the list!! ahahaha you did innovate a lot with the filling! but yeah, coxinhas are everything!!
Indian “gujiya” are very similar to the polish dumplings. They have a sweet coconut filling but the only major difference I can think of is they are deep fried
PS: yup it did watch till the end so letting you in the comments as asked by you ☺️
Mina thank you so much for including my suggestion for vegan pierogi ❤️❤️❤️ I'm more than excited to try these and especially with the sweet filling 🥺 other recipies sounds super yummy too! oh and the gossip girl reference yaassss
Ah cool! I'm from Brazil 😁 You're the first internacional youtuber I see doing an brazilian dish in this kind of videos 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow this so soo cool! I think we can all see how much time and effort you put into this video, so thank you! It was totally worth it :)
I just loved the way that she say coxinha and feijoada
Netto has canned black beans.
You can find dried black beans at Turkish supermarkets if you happen to have one near you.
Also thumbs up for the Neff oven, I love mine 🙂
Uma das minhas youtubers favs fazendo coxinha, isso é tão OMG 🇧🇷😭💖
I would be thrilled to see the vegan version of the Austrian desert “Kaiserschmarrn”!
Yes, that would be great. I've tried so many different recipes already but none of them seems to work very well. Would love to see that. 👍🏻
I loveeee this new video series idea, please do more!
Also I find it so sweet that you often take suggestions and recipies from your viewers.
Coxinha de feijoada??? Omg!!! I love this creation!! You’re now 60% German and 40% Brazilian hahaha ♥️♥️ love it
I’m Brazilian
And when u said Feijoada I was like 🥺🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for making these videos mina. they make my day better and are helping me get through some tough times. keep doing what you do!

Thank you so much for these recipes Mina! I would love to see your take on Venezuelan cachapas, which are a kind of corn pancake.
So many pierogi fans! I"m one of them :D Hugs from Poland
Awesome! Such a great idea: the final results look amazing too. Hope you'll carry on with this series!
first! so excited for this because so many countries have great vegan foods :))
OMG, you made Coxinhas 😂 I’m impressed. Sending love from Brazil 🇧🇷
I was surfing and this video popped on in the background... I'm in love with your voice, I new it was you, because your voice is so calm and refreshing!
I love these videos! Your energy is so charming as well 😊
A traditional dessert here in Catalonia called is Crema Catalana, it’s so similar to Crème Brûlée . It would be awesome if you recreated it in a vegan version 🤍
Your videos are so calming, Mina
Heaven! xx
I literally love every single one of your videos! Thank you for all the amazing recipes Mina. You're the best!!
Hello from Sweden! The traditional way of eating meatballs is with boiled potatoes, thin gravy, lingon berry sauce and pickled cucumbers. It's so yummy
I cant believe you made pierogi. Love from Poland 🇵🇱❤
Also a quick tip from a polish person lol
Peal the potatoes before boiling them :) thats how we do it here
You wont burn your fingers that way
From my countryside in Poland, my family peels potatoes after they boiled them because they say that they taste better and they are less watery. You just wait until they become colder and then you peel them without burning your fingers 😊
Desert video seems like a gorgeous idea! also I'm super happy to see veganised tortilla because I've been meaning to make it for a while
We've never seen some of these foods before, but they all look so good! 😍💚
Pierogi ruskie are amazing. pls try them if you haven't already
its already a vegan desert (adding heavy cream is optional), but i'd love to see your take on tembleque! its very popular here in puerto rico, especially during the holidays and its sooo good especially with cinnamon on top!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS VIDEO!! I totally recommend you making Namoura , a Lebanese dessert that is widely known in the Middle East but is called different named. Its a vegan dessert once you use vegan butter in it and its SOOO GOOD
