    Doing Cardio on empty stomach is amazing and gives you the best results to lose weight but not all the people can do it and if you can do it you will not have enough energy to lift weight properly after it as u are already depleted most of your energy.
    what i do i keep with me a couple of dates or one banana, so when i finish my cardio i relax for 5 minutes i eat then i hit the weights.
    me my self i love drinking coffee on empty stomach than doing cardio, it all comes to ur personal preference.

      Jonas IDK No you won't. It all depends on your calorie intake. When you are empty stomach your body uses fat as fuel to burn as you have nothing inside you. Make sure to keep changing it up as you get used to it pretty fast. All in all what I have learned going 180 from 240 is consistentcy is the key.

    • @jjjuhg
      @jjjuhg 5 років тому +2

      Not from over working heart and lungs. Ph of the blood drops when you have sugar or carbohydrates. Then the voltage f the blood drops. We have -23 mv. The capacity of blood t have oxygen drops too. Now...a big guy needs more oxygen than you or me. Another cause: coronary calium calcification . Can do a test, its a ct scan- 100 $.shows you if ypu have clogged heart and danger of heart attack or stroke. Vit K2 mk7 type will take the calcium, clean the body and bring it to bones. Vit c from kale banana shake will protect the blood vessels from dammage. Also kale brings you the potassium for making muscles and heart halth. We need t gr a day of potassium- huge , vompared to other minetals. Avocado 1 gr . 3 bananas 1 gr. Kale, potatos. Sodium - potasium pump is the mechanim that puts aminos in tje muscle cells. Without it, good luck. No potassium = high blood pressure and heart arithmya , tyred and no muscles.

    • @SanctuaryLife
      @SanctuaryLife 4 роки тому

      Aaron Stubbs just be careful with loading potassium from supplements, you could stress your kidneys. Get it from real food only. To give you an example, people with kidney disease can’t even eat a banana it may kill them. Your kidneys need love too, remember everything in the body is a fine balance and generally nature gets it right.

    *This is how I do it and it works...*
    For those looking for a nutrition plan to gain muscle and stay lean do this...
    Morning - Wake up drink water, take supplements, eat something with high sodium (salt) that is small, take preworkout and hit gym
    Post work out - high protein and intake some simple sugars to help rebuild the muscle
    Afternoon - high carbs, high protein, high fat
    Protein shake before lunch or after lunch and before dinner
    Dinner - High protein, low carb, moderate fat
    Protein shake before bed
    In summary, you 100% workout on a mostly empty stomach unless you are going for the mega bulk (Arnold etc.) where you legit are burning upwards of 1,000 cals a workout... you don't do that unless you're competing.
    You have to get 20% more protein than you weigh. For example, I weigh 178 pounds so I go for around 210 grams of protein a day.
    You need carbs to lift and hit those PR's.
    *sidenote* you need to be hitting new PR's every couple weeks (So lower your reps and start heavy)
    For example, this is how your sets FOR ALL YOUR BIG LIFTS should go.... Warm-up 2-3 sets with light lightweight to feel the contraction and target specific muscle then immediately jump into the heaviest weight you can go (So obviously use your notes and record) and hit that for 4-6 reps.
    Literally, if you follow this blueprint I swear you will see results.

  • @strongmanwhite
    @strongmanwhite 10 років тому +1

    Ric, I've competed in strongman and powerlifting for around a decade, I've been out of the game a few years and am slowly but surely coming back into it, I just want to tell you that out of all the shows I've seen on youtube, you're series (especially with Rich) is my favorite.

    I'm not saying these guys don't know anything at all but when you juice, that skews your results. It's like riding a bike with training wheels. Sure, maybe you know how to ride a bike without them but how do you really know you can do it when you always have that back up?

    • @willmolinar

      ***** Your post is completely inaccurate dude. I was a national level bodybuilder in the mid 80's so obviously juiced. I stopped training for 8 years in the early 90's and lost just about all the muscle i gained through bodybuilding. The advantage I did have was that when I went back to training muscle memory was apparent and gains were fast. However I only reached pre steroid taking levels, or slightly better as I stayed natural. I've seen the same thing happen to several other former bodybuilders. Look at ex pro's like Paul Dillet. He's just an average sized guy these days.

      ***** You're wrong dude, sorry but you are. You're body, off steroids, can't produce the level of testosterone and other hormones to maintain that level of muscle

    • @willmolinar
      @willmolinar 9 років тому +3

      Yes, of course you have to train. Steroids don't do everything but this is just an excuse from juicers mostly. They always say the roids don't do much but then why do them at all if they aren't that great? Like I said, it's like riding a bike with training wheels and telling someone else how to ride a bike without them. It's disingenuous.

    These guys say people make it harder than it is when really, they're the ones making it more difficult. It doesn't matter how many times a day you eat, all that really matters is your total amount of calories everyday and whether you're eating over maintenance or under and try not to dip your calories too low when trying to lose weight and make sure you're getting enough protein. THAT'S IT.

    • @bradleygreenan6399
      @bradleygreenan6399 9 років тому

      doesnt matter how many times i eat a day and all that matters is total calories? so you're saying if im aiming to consume 4500 calories a day i can just sit down and eat one 4500 calorie meal and be all good? gtfoh lmao

    • @InterestingFella
      @InterestingFella 9 років тому +3

      Yeah, go ahead and try to eat 4,500 calories in one sitting and tell me how that goes, dummy. You can only eat so much in one sitting anyways. Say you've had a busy day and still have around 2000 calories left to consume. Eat a big ass meal before bed and you're good.

    • @bradleygreenan6399
      @bradleygreenan6399 9 років тому

      you're the idiot. i was clearly being sarcastic to make point of how ludicrous your statement was, hence why i said "gtfoh lmao". YOU are the one who said it doesnt matter how many meals u eat as long as u hit your target calories, which if that statement was true someone could eat a 4500 calorie meal and be good or eat two meals of 2,250 calories and be good etc etc. obviously you need to spread your calories and macros out evenly over the course of the day, preferably 5-8 meals (all depends on who u are and preference) so your meals arent too big and u dont get bloated eating a massive pile in one sitting etc., dummy lmao

    • @bradleygreenan6399

      I think it depends on if you train that late or not. Like if you train at 10 PM then sleep at 12 you can eat whatever the hell you want afterwards. But if you just sat on your ass from 6 till 12 then no way.

      I think the best advice to take from this (even if you're not interested in a steroid user) is the cosmetic physique part, regardless of size or training style a small waist and wide shoulders is a good base to keep in mind.

    apparently meal frequency doesn't affect metabolism

    • @zagan1
      @zagan1 10 років тому

      You have to work out the amounts you need and then work your meal amounts around that, that's why they say you have 6 or more meals but you also need to eat the right stuff and the right amounts.
      As they say it's not rocket science but people do make it harder than what it needs to be sadly.
      Some of it comes from so called training places that just go by basic handouts and not proper info, which all comes from body builders anyway yet training places will still say body builders don't know what they are talking about.
