Me too Donna - no desire to ever watch him or listen to him ever again. We should put our money where our mouth is and not endorse this type of behaviour in media.

I am not sure why Andy keeps saying “can’t take the eyes off of him”, no need to appease the fool. Nick Kyrgios is the ultimate overhyped player. Sure, his serve’s good, but where’s the footwork? The backhand? The grind to win ugly? A guy who can’t sustain rallies, relies on trick shots, and tanks matches isn’t ‘talent’-he’s a highlight reel with no substance. #13 career high says it all.
Exactly. The guy even when he was playing well was annoying (behaviour) & frustrating (wasting his talent) to watch The only time I could watch a whole match of his was when he played Federer. He behaved himself & concentrated on his tennis then. Very gratifying too that Fed beat him everytime after the 1st time, even tho NK played his highest level against him. He wasnt as good vs Nadal or Djokovic - more shenanigans and less respect towards them back then, but against anyone else I wouldnt waste my time on him.
Bingo!! He's never won a Slam, his highest rank was 11th in the world. Why is anyone talking about him other than his on court childish tantrums? His career is over. Ignore the fool.
Kyrgios needs psychological help, it kind of nauseated me too the interaction between Kyrgios and Djokovic (doubles) like they were best buddies, ugh :) for some reason Djokovic always gave me that bully vibe too...
Djokovic parading with his useful idiot (for the moment). Djokovic is currently riding on the back of this mentally unstable tiger, and we all know how that story usually ends.
My heart goes out to Sinner who is a young guy caught in an unfortunate situation and is being relentlessly bullied. I think he needs to be more supported by the tennis community. People are not made of steel.
@@janjan55555 yes and no. What is the range of his responsibility? If a staff person stabs someone on tour is Sinner responsible? What the autorities are doing is in fact define the realm of his responsibilities. But It's more probable that the phisio never asked Sinner (who is not a clairvoyant and legitimately trust the professionality of his people) and used the substance not thinking about consequences enough cause it was a common medicine that doesn't need medical prescription.
@@janjan55555I've ridden again your statement and it is wrong on different levels. Well done Andy, finally someone in the tennis world with the balls to speak up about Nicks bullshit, why more don’t is beyond me, yer he is talented and very watchable but how that makes people accept his behaviour or even question speaking out against him blows my mind.
How about a comment that's not about NK but about "Served"? Wanted to write this for a while and here we go: First time I shed actual tears was when Mc beat Borg at Wimbledon in 1980 and the last time when Roger retired. Have not missed many important games in-between those two events. I've always loved playing and almost enjoyed watching even more. But I never expected my love for tennis to reach a new level because of a stupid podcast. Well maybe that is because it's not stupid but super enlightning, entertaining, intelligent, eloquent, eye-opening and overall amazing. Love the in-depth analysis, the rich experience, the anecdotes, the empathy, sensitivity and humanity, the humour, the swearing and the vibes. It well deserves the warning for being offensive as much as for being addictive. Thanks a ton to you Andy and your team for doing this.
Andy : thanks for saying the truth about NK. He is an attention seeker with incredible tennis talent but with a poor personalty and likewise intellect. But in the world of today guys like him get away with his behaviour. Being the person he is, he was allowed to do high profile tennis commentator...while everybody who follows tennis, knows that he is subpar as a person. There was a time he hated Djokovic and now they are good friends it seems ? That also says something about Novak and his lack of good judgement in this case.
If they want to commentate matches or be in media they literally get trained not to do that. They also get trained not to use filler words like 'um' or 'ah' because it would be distracting.
Addressing the 🐘, AKA bully of tennis. Thank you for finally calling it as it is. #NickTheBully shouldn't be hired for any tennis outlet to comment. I personally dont care what he has to say.
lets be honest. Kyrgios and alike, like Karen Collins - they are just clowns at this point. Same goes for Halep. Whoever is talking about Sinners or Swiatek case and how they "doped" has NO idea what he is talking about. Pure hate or trolling. OR stupidity
If we "knew" him he'd be even more pathetic in our eyes. Dude desperately wants to be some "bad boy" but if he actually got into a REAL "situation" with a someone who knows what they're doing he'd be edged within an inch of his life at will.
Well said. I have a problem with NK representing a sport I love after pleading guilty to abuse. His hypocrisy is matched only by his ego and his toxic influence.
Andy, please don't apologize for talking about Nick's behavior. You seem very level-headed and fair - I never get the feeling you just want to talk about drama for its own sake. Like you said, most of us watch him because of his incredible talent, not because of his off-court drama, so he'll always be in the conversation. I really enjoyed watching him and Nole play doubles in Brisbane. Nick will always be a "What if?" player. We can only imagine what he could have done if he knew how to truly apply himself and keep his emotions in check. I would _love_ to see a mentally stable, fit, well-practiced Kyrgios play Sinner. If only...
No one appointed Nick, the arbitration of tennis if he has a real issue with how the Jannik issue was handled, he should be really be taking it up with the regulatory bodies and not the player (Jannik) himself.
I am just praying that when the main draw comes out, hes in sinners quarter. Sinner will send him to early retirement and it will be the most satisfying thing in tennis history
@@dabu8701 I agree. I really don't want that, for tennis' sake (and for Sinner's mental health too). NK wants that and he already said he wants to turn the match into a brawl. The man is in desperate need of attention, better leave him in oblivion.

Preach Andy. It is hypocrisy and his dig at Cruz Hewitt was very inappropriate. He is a kid, starting a career, why? I agree the doping rules and agency should explain their rules and regulations so ago players abd the public are on the same page but melatonin puts you to sleep and I don't even know how the microscopic topical cream on Sinner is enhancing. If so, what's the product called.
Kyrgios was already a clown when he first started his ATP career and his comments to Wawrinka about his girlfriend should’ve been enough for people to realise that this guy is nothing more than a head case. At this point in time, he’s self destructing. The best thing Jannik Sinner can do is to continue ignoring Nicks comments. He’s on a downwards spiral and knows he’ll be forgotten about.
I think it's a case of mental health or disturb of personality, but it's also a case of idiocy, and it's definitely bullying. Glad you addressed this the way you did, you said the things that have to be said at this point.
Something you didn't mention that highlights NK's hypocrisy even more. He plead guilty to a January 2021 offence, stating that he was doing drugs at the time, so he played tennis under the influence of drugs in that period (in early February he played in Melbourne) and therefore, by his own admission, he's more guilty of doping, i.e. of assuming illegal substances, than Sinner, since he did it willingly whilst the Italian didn't.
Era l’ora che qualcuno d’influente come Roddick, dicesse qualcosa di più duro e giusto, verso lo psicopatico australiano. Forza Jan, you are a very gentleman 💪🎾🇮🇹
Nick Kyrgois has a helpful partner in the form of a lazy sensationalist media who just want sensationalist headlines and report his every BS tweets and comments. The only problem with tennis at the moment is testing to parts in billions is catching out two No. 1 players with unintentional breaches which are not in any way performance enhancing. Well done to Andy for actually understanding the issues and explaining it.
His partner's in crime are not only the media but the cohorts of trolls, bullies and simply stupid people on social media who behave like him and say the same things as him. They make him strong, he gives them voice, it's a disgrace.
Remember several years ago when NK’s brother made nasty comments about Stan Wawrinka’s then girlfriend, Donna Vekic, liking the “Kokk” after she played mixed doubles with Thanasi Kokkinakis at Wimbledon? Being an idiot bully seems to run in NK’s family.
Thank you, someone had to speak up about this constant bullying on social media. It is very sad to see this kind of violence, especially when it is secretly supported by other prominent players who themselves have a history marked by questionable events. They are a group of hypocrites and toxic individuals.
Kyrgios is the Trump of tennis. We feel obliged to commend him when he behaves in a manner that is expected of normal decent humans. Kyrgios has pushed the limits of what is acceptable so far that it feels like normal codes of behavior are constantly relaxed and adjusted for him. It is too bad as it seemed like when he was in the booth Kyrgios made some strides toward being a mature human being. Not so.
Your best podcast so far, Andy. I was a big supporter of NK, but no more. As an Aussie, this hurts. He has burned his bridges as a player, and is close to doing so as a respected commentator. I hope he finds the help he needs.
Are we never ever allowed to speak of Nick without stating that he is talented? So what. He loves that as much as the clicks. Whatever his excuses, “Could have been” is really “Might have been”, “Isn’t”, and “Was not”.
I 100% agree. You can't look at the world (and Sinner situation) black and white, there are greys. Kyrgios is wrong when he says the stuff about Sinner.
I remember watching Roddick play Lleyton back in 2001 at US open and u could tell from the way he presented to the umpire during an argument he was highly intelligent.
Bravo! I know this convo wasn't easy.. but you did an EXCELLENT job speaking about the situation. Words from a mentally unstable guy like this should be ignored..Swiatek & Jannik are fair people
Swiatek & Jannik are fair people. jannik lied to everyone for six months, Iga lied for several months about the reasons for skipping tournaments. Lol "fair" people)
@@МихаилВащенко-с9я . They didn’t lie. They were not allowed to say anything. These are two different things
Their lawyers/itia likely forbid them to make statements during investigation, are you this thick not to figure this out?
Amen 🙏 Thanks for calling him out, can't agree more 💯
Totally agree..and honestly surprised at Djokovic's choice to play with him, sort of taking his side. A bit disappointing isn't it?
I'd say a lot, not just a bit.
100% agree. Even if we should not read it as Nole is taking his side necessarily, it's still not a good look
NJ is just a nice guy trying to help a challenged player get his feet back under him. Says a lot about Nole. But I am not a fan of Nk. Always been a wanker
What do you expect that serbian is the most disappointing thing ever happened to the sport
I don't think it's surprising. Novak also likes to play the victim of not being loved by the tennis world and therefore probably feels a connection with Nick, not to mention the fact that Novak also doesn't shy away from controversy.
Kyrgios is such a disgrace. He would be nothing without these childish comments. He reached one major final after Nadal withdrew from the semifinal. Australians don't even like him.
making semi finals or finals of Wimbledon is pretty good tho
@@Lanky009That doesn’t make him a good person.
@@Lanky009 No question, but on the other hand, he had one of the easiest paths to a Wimbledon final in memory. He didn't have to beat anyone who has any grass talent.
Thank you for standing up to the bully that is Nick Kyrgios
Thank you for these comments, finally commentators that speak out about this bully Kyrgios.
Great post, Andy. Thanks. I've never been a Kygrios fan. I don't know what his problems are and I frankly do not care. I have no sympathy for those who could but won't and turn to envy and spite for those who can and DO.
I hate giving these type of people any coverage but yes you're right, you have to stand up at times so that the voice of reason is out there to combat the infection that type of person spreads to others. In this case, you just hope his talent runs out so he becomes irrelevant. Such a waste of talent.
Thanks Andy for doing something about this drama !! 💪💪🇮🇹❤️
someone finally said it....dude behaves like a salty high-schooler who couldnt get with the cheerleader.....GROW UP MAN
Honestly, THANK YOU.
For MONTHS we Jannik fans have been bombarded by attacks from haters who know NOTHING about how it works, what happened and how the case went.
Syringes, "doper", "cheater", it's hard to ignore them. And when these attacks come from such a famous and (unfortunately) listened to person, you feel helpless and heartbroken.
So THANK YOU for exposing yourself and giving voice to the truth, which is that it is BULLYING, which could also be reported for DEFAMATION.
Thank you.❤
I think Sinner fans and Iganation should stand up together, it would be more effective, Nick is doing the same towards Iga, doesn’t miss a chance to comment about her
Thanks for saying something Andy and JW. This is so well put, and I’m hoping Kyrgios can finally put his mental into the tennis that makes us wanting to watch more instead of the social media banter and toxicity.
I dont think this will happen - he clearly dont enjoy being professional tennis player, he does it for status/sponsorship reasons only IMO
Never gonna happen. He is who he is at this point. When people tell you who they are, listen.
Classic, taking out his low self esteem on everyone else.
Thanks for being a loyal client of Pfizer!
@@HarryDuBois1033so true.
Kyrgios has been bragging about getting 40 million engagements over the last month on his instagram stories. This truly has become just an influencer spectacle
he's like a town drunk shouting in the city square ..people look because it's loud and distasteful and pathetic
1:21 i love that "influencer" has become one of the biggest insults you can call someone now, it's like a polite way of saying you don't contribute to society in any tangible way
This is a very insightful comment 👍
Influencers are basically unemployed losers who are too lazy to work hard. Sound like someone?
I can easily "take my eyes off of him." He is talented, but his personality sucks so badly that I choose not to watch him. He is the biggest baby in tennis.
Me too Donna - no desire to ever watch him or listen to him ever again. We should put our money where our mouth is and not endorse this type of behaviour in media.
He's self-delusional, and it's sad. He wants grace without giving grace. He wants mercy without being merciful. He needs prayer.
And deliverance!
keep it in church, bud. non delusional people don't wanna hear it
@ It's amazing that triggered you. 90+% of people in the world believe in a higher power. You're the outlier And you could have easily taken this as a non-religious critique because neither of the terms require religion, but it's ok my atheist friend, keep on being offended.
@@unknownvitster 😂 who knew prayer doesn't require religion? also, the majority of people once thought the world was flat, too. that doesn't mean you're right, huh doofy
@@TheBigChiefton Continue with the ad hominem without addressing the intent of the post. Keep going; I find this amusing.
The fact that he has zero work ethic and zero discipline but could still get to #13 says something.
Exactly. The guy even when he was playing well was annoying (behaviour) & frustrating (wasting his talent) to watch
The only time I could watch a whole match of his was when he played Federer.
@@ER1CwC
Yeah. It says he had a big talent he chose to totally waste.
Totally agree. Overinflated lots of them kyrgios one of them
Bingo!! He's never won a Slam, his highest rank was 11th in the world. Why is anyone talking about him other than his on court childish tantrums? His career is over. Ignore the fool.
Thanks for discussing this!!!
NK crossed the line of no return.
Its fine to have an opinion, not spreading lies about Roddick and messing with a 16 yr old full of dreams
It must be difficult for a drug addict guilty of assault and unranked to come back.
DANG!!
@@AlfredoArcangelitrue
Listened to this and 100% agree. Really well said also!
Kyrgios needs psychological help, it kind of nauseated me too the interaction between Kyrgios and Djokovic (doubles) like they were best buddies, ugh :) for some reason Djokovic always gave me that bully vibe too...
You dissed the " GOAT" You want to see bullying? Just wait.
It’s curious these type of people always get together…
Not everything is psychological issue. Some people are just assholes.

Djokovic parading with his useful idiot (for the moment). Djokovic is currently riding on the back of this mentally unstable tiger, and we all know how that story usually ends.
Andy, it is a pleasure to follow your podcast. Thank you for standing up, you are a good person
He's always been a punk. I don't like punks. And this was brilliant, Andy.
My heart goes out to Sinner who is a young guy caught in an unfortunate situation and is being relentlessly bullied. I think he needs to be more supported by the tennis community. People are not made of steel.
Having your physical use a forbidden product isn't unfortunate or negligent, it's forbidden. The player is always responsible for the team.
@@janjan55555what if a player gets a massage at a spa on vacation or shakes someone’s hand with testosterone cream on it?
@@janjan55555 yes and no. What is the range of his responsibility? If a staff person stabs someone on tour is Sinner responsible? What the autorities are doing is in fact define the realm of his responsibilities. Imo maybe there would've be negligence if the phisio asked sinner if it was okay to use that pomade to cure himself and Sinner just nodded thinking wasn't a problem.
You said that cause the substance is forbidden Sinner is at fault regardless the presence of diligence or negligence. It's nonsense cause at this point i can poison with drugs every other player and then win every tournament (it's always their fault if they're poisoned regardless, even if i'm cought they must be suspended for at least a year!) 😂
@@andreabruno7095 Dude, let's not get into stupidity here! That's a clear cut case of responsability of an adult! In tennis the rule was clear...
You mean 1981. Mc lost to Borg at Wimbledon in 1980.
@Lerameistezet true. thanks. love the nerdism in this community
That also says something about Novak and his lack of good judgement in this case.
says something about his (as compared to your) ability to forgive
Andy how are you so eloquent? I’ve never heard you stutter. Quite impressive honestly.
It truly is
My 2 favorite tennis commentators are Johnny Mac and Andy Roddick...
If they want to commentate matches or be in media they literally get trained not to do that. They also get trained not to use filler words like 'um' or 'ah' because it would be distracting.
I would love to see Andy and Roger commentate at Wimbledon together!
Addressing the 🐘, AKA bully of tennis. Thank you for finally calling it as it is. #NickTheBully shouldn't be hired for any tennis outlet to comment. I personally dont care what he has to say.
I love your podcast. It's really balanced. I've been listening or watching since some time last year. Keep up the good work.
lets be honest. Kyrgios and alike, like Karen Collins - they are just clowns at this point. Same goes for Halep.
Whoever is talking about Sinners or Swiatek case and how they "doped" has NO idea what he is talking about.
Pure hate or trolling. OR stupidity
Collins is a fraud and a nasty person.
Kyrgios' #1 crutch for his behavior is: "You don't know me."
If we "knew" him he'd be even more pathetic in our eyes. Dude desperately wants to be some "bad boy" but if he actually got into a REAL "situation" with a someone who knows what they're doing he'd be edged within an inch of his life at will.
We know him. We all know bullies.
Andy: rational, compelling, articulate while being emotional. Such a class act. Love you man.
Well said.
I have a problem with NK representing a sport I love after pleading guilty to abuse. His hypocrisy is matched only by his ego and his toxic influence.
Kyrgios still mentally 10 yrs old
Andy, please don't apologize for talking about Nick's behavior.
Finally someone breaking ranks and providing a realistic evaluation on NK. Thank you Andy and co host.
I am just praying that when the main draw comes out, hes in sinners quarter. Sinner will send him to early retirement and it will be the most satisfying thing in tennis history
Do you really want the clown show that will come with that match??
@@dabu8701 I agree. I really don't want that, for tennis' sake (and for Sinner's mental health too). NK wants that and he already said he wants to turn the match into a brawl. The man is in desperate need of attention, better leave him in oblivion.
Better fr him to be drawn to play his buddy Djokovic
Agree!!!
Omg I hope me too that will be the game of the year!!!
I’m glad someone finally exposed the issue for what it truly is: NK is a confessed physical abuser of women. Being a troll is the least of his problems-honestly, it’s just pathetic.

Great points were made. When you’re right, you’re right.

The cream wasn't even on Sinner 🤷🏻♀️
Kyrgios is abusive! It sucks to watch his actions on and off the court, bad person. Thank you, Andy, for putting things in their place.
Holy sh*t hahaha.... andy roddick dropping truth bombs😂❤❤❤
Laying it all out! Spot on, Andy! You are so intelligent and eloquent!
Great video, someone with an audience had to put this point of view out there
Kyrgios was already a clown when he first started his ATP career and his comments to Wawrinka about his girlfriend should’ve been enough for people to realise that this guy is nothing more than a head case.
Spot on 👏👏👏👏 perfectly said and always professional
NK is a deeply disturbed individual. It is sad that he has largely wasted his considerable talent, but his behavior is inexcusable.
Not so.
Cry more! TDS
Kyrgios has been on DRUGS/Intoxcicated many TIMES in his Matches (social DRUGS). He should not even TALK. That is what he said himself....
You are right. Being drunk is being on drugs and he admitted he has played drunk against Nadal.
Can’t agree more with you Andy. Thank you so much for your clear mind and words, really.
Thank you for the show, Andy 😊
At last, someone calls out NK big time....
Bravo! I know this convo wasn't easy.. but you did an EXCELLENT job speaking about the situation. While I care about Nick and know he sometimes struggles I think it's healthy to call things out + spell things out.. esp. on behalf of Hewitt's son (very important points you made there). I think it will be helpful for Nick to hear this as well. Thank you so much Andy for your insight and ability to speak about this...very much appreciated.
