Great video! Swindon has two best kept secrets, the Coate Water Railway and the Swindon & Cricklade Railway - both well worth a visit if you're a train nut.
What a fantastic miniature railway.... Your class 20 is absolutely brilliant and very detailed.... Also like the class 50 hoover.... I take my hat off to you, well done...
We have now been to Swindon 2 times and enjoyed every minute. Helping out at Halloween was mad with the shear numbers going through. Dressed up of course. Robert is one of the nicest guys you could meet and a great friend. We were in fact chatting by a model track yesterday. My current design is in 7 1/4" and based on a lawnmower. All B S 450 of course. Some will get the joke. Love from David and Lily.
I had a smashing day there to be honest! They were a friendly bunch too and its a nice long track. Id go back with the steamer next time for sure. Rob is a legend to be honest! Top chap. Have a good christmas 😀
Hydraulic Heaven! Great to see you back Eric with more interesting content.Your LT Class 20 looked great at Coate Water Railway & hope to see a layout update soon.
Excellent video, my compliments from New Zealand. Always love the Western, your class 20 is beautiful with the trim in place, and I was floored by the GBRf class 50. All amazing, and all with sound. Keep safe, looking forward to your next production. Definitely subscribed.
nice one eric, i wish i has my class 37 up and running now so i can go to places like this, maybe one day, i wonder if you can fine out the name of the music or song when you go back to the railway after the wagon build ,
Oh my lord, it's a small world! Rob did my 5th birthday party at the RSME in Reading (best party ever, and first time I drove a loco!), had a whale of a time and had many a ride behind his steam loco, Polar Star! Last saw him at the OOC open day with the ochre whizzo, good to know its still going!
In this scale most including all of these are battery powered with electric motors and then an additional sound system. Ive seen a couple petrol powered setups which are kinda cool though.
I had a nightmare last night when I was sleeping about 2 trains crashing together and my nightmare came true and then I heard a crash in my model railway room and a a stock crashed into a class 378 for no reason and I was so surprised when it happened for the first time in my life ?!
Those 'Westerns' and 'Warships' look amazing!

I don't remember this episode of Land Of The Giants.

Would have loved some details as to what those ;hydraulics; and other diesel locos actual mechanisms.

Awesome looking engines, I see you have a third rail, presumably that's for the other gauge?
The extra rail is because the track is dual gauge, the 5” locos run on the inner rail, the 7&1/4” stuff runs on the outer 🙂

Not been for a few years now, did you see western druid. That's the new owners home track
No i didnt, just robs two lovely examples
Amazing video
Very nice video
Good to see you back
Excuse the ignorance why is there a third rail ?
Thanks
Thanks Trevor, its a dual gauge track, the outer rail is for 7&1/4 gauge trains, the 5” stuff uses the inner one
What a turn around !
Many thanks from the south west of France
Keep em coming thanks
good update stay safe lee
Is the GBRF class 50 the one from phoenix locos
Yes mate
@@UndergroundEric cheers mate 👍

Its in bits and im going to sell it
Nice video
What driving these along?
The diesels in this scale are 99% of the time battery powered at 24V with a sound system.
Haven't been there in so long even though I live near it, Saw you was going somewhere with 5" gauge and my gut told me you was there 🤦♂️
Ah what are the chances haha. 🙂
