- Make your own DIY Wedding Invitations using this easy to follow video tutorial.
This video tutorial will show you how to make stylish wedding invitations with a vellum wrap and wax seal. These DIY wedding invitations are really low cost (less than £1.00 using products available on www.imaginediy....)
Sometimes I make an invitation and wish I was getting married again ..... just so I can send it to my guests. This is definitely one of those. I love the effortless charm. And the best thing it that it's really easy to recreate at home. Not only that, but once you've purchased the wax seal (which you can use for all your wedding stationery and beyond), the cost of each invitation is really low.

You can see all the sizes along with full instructions on this page of our website:
www.imaginediy.co.uk/how-to-make-easy-vellum-wrap-invitations/
Hope that helps
How would you mail this?
stick it in an envelope and address, stamp, and send
Yep! Definitely put it in an envelope and send it by standard post. If you're in the UK, you should still be able to send them as a small letter.
What is the font used ?
Hi
I used the following fonts:
Mrs Eaves Petit Caps, Lovefern (and Lovefern Swashes for the glyphs).
You can see more details for this information on the following blog post:

Hope that helps x
Would you be able to use a glue gun to place the wax seal on?
Hi
I'm so sorry about the delay in response.
A glue gun doesn't work on the wax seals unless you can get one that can be set to a very low temperature (a cool melt glue gun). This would also require different glue sticks as the melting temperature would need to be lower. I've found that if you try to stick a wax seal into place with a normal glue gun, the glue is too hot and instantly melts the wax.
I hope that helps. But if you need any more advice, please feel free to e-mail:

Kind regards
Leah
Hi there! Lovely work, may I ask where you bought the vellum paper from? Or what should be thickness and quality of it? I am looking to do some wedding invitations of my own after having been inspired by your work!
Thank you
Hi
I'm so sorry for the delay in response.
We sell the vellum on our website. You can see the full range of products used on this page:
www.imaginediy.co.uk/how-to-make-easy-vellum-wrap-invitations/
The weight of the vellum makes a difference to it's transparency. So the lighter the weight, the less transparent it will be. Somewhere around 120gsm is nice.
Kind regards
Leah
These are lovely what gsm should the card be? Thank you
