My father got bladder cancer from his exposure. We fought for six years and were denied. He suffered for 16 years and the VA reopened his case after he passed away. I have read every case of Nehmer and have fought for 4 years and I just made it to the US Supreme Court.
Under the Nehmer the court order states pay to estate. The VA applies their regulation 38 CFR 3.816 but that regulation does not apply to Nehmer. I am trying to see if any other veteran was affected by this other than my father.
