    Currently at 40 percent / 20 for tinnitus and 20 for knees. Also a history of recurring cluster headaches and entered a claim for this bur got 0 percent for it.. currently working with my county VSO in Iowa to revisit the headaches thing. Tinnitus has worsened and now insomnia has been a problem. Actually, I'm rated at 10 percent for tinnitus and 10 percent for hearing impairment.

    Navy 2002- 2010 FMF Corpsman stationed in San Diego but now i live just outside of San Antonio. Just got Vestibular test and I have unilateral weakness left ear 44% and directional preponderance right ear 56%. Just now waiting for ENT appointment. I get dizzy, off balance and nauseous on a daily basis. It has been effecting my work more and more. I was out from work for 2 months with no pay on FMLA because I was calling in and leaving work early. I do get ringing in my right ear from time to time but not sure if they would believe me. Just found ya'll yesterday on UA-cam. Keep up the great work spreading to all veterans their benefits and information about disability claims.

    Sorry I missed this live. Air Force (2) 4 year enlistments, C-141B Flight Engineer, Originally just 10% for tinnitus, but then recently approved an additional 30% under PACT Act for Sinusitis. I would like to re-visit the tinnitus for secondary symptoms of migraines, Vertigo, dizziness, Insomnia & anxiety. I did see your fee schedule, that did give me some serious sticker shock, as you guys all know there are many Veteran Services that are provided through VA funded or partially funded Veterans services through State VA services and other non-profit organizations, most provided at ZERO cost. They obviously don't assist with the "strategy" portion, but they will offer advice and resources to guide you through the process. So, although I appreciate what you do here, we must separate the services offered that are at zero cost by VA Service organizations as opposed to the services that offer value by your services and then determine what that is worth. Does that make sense?

    Hi I served in the US ARMY , I've been rating of 80% , 😢 that's sad . I was mech Infantry , in tanks . I now have , syncope , vertigo , prostate cancer , left hip pain , severe migraines , fractured left shoulder , bone one bone left knee pain , tentinites . I have flat feet and , was never giving arch support , ever . We often slept in our tanks , with the motor running all night to , keep us warm . Breathing the diesel fumes , really affected us also , the loud noises from , missile fire , driving the tank for miles . Lots of us were thrown around , hiring our heads inside the tanks . Jumping out of tanks , we would hit the metal and , get hurt . I'm getting migraine pills from the VA now but , they make my headache worse and , I get very dizzy . Oh I also have , PTSD , DEPRESSION and , ANXIETY . I can go to any funerals , my anxiety kicks in , and , I've fainted and , really got scared up . I need help , I'm called a walking medical case .

    Maybe some folks can approach the VA hearing loss/ tinnitus thing in a different way. 1970 ch-47 door gunner with over 800 flight hours @ average120 decibels. Meniere's Disease is now very tricky as a VA claim. There are numerous Court cases where Veterans sued the VA for Meniere's and the Court sided with the VA that Meniere's disease is NOT caused by Tinnitus or is secondary to Tinnitus. Meniere's disease in itself is a standalone disease that would have be medically proved to have incurred during service. So, if you develop Meniere's disease later in life, I think it would be very difficult to prove that it was serviced connected. Please clarify my points if I missed something or misunderstood the court filings i read about.

    im at 70% tdiu, never to have VA eval again. i really want to continue to claim because of the pact act, and wish it to be documented, i have what they call meniers and a myriad of neurological symptoms from that as well as migraines w vertigo and heavy tinnitus, hearing loss/ deaf and chrinic sinusitis. What i want to know is , should i even open the can of worms back up to file and is there back pay involved? Or just leave things alone since im at 100 %with tdiu? I was hoping to get 100 P/T so i never have to worry. Know whats funny, i had VA eval for tinnitus years ago which was denied, ever since then its only gotten worse and worse.

    • @VAClaimsInsider
      @VAClaimsInsider  Рік тому +1

      Hi there!
      Secondary claims can be submitted using the same methods as filing a direct-service connected claim. Which is to file VA Form 21-526EZ (Application for Disability Compensation and Related Compensation Benefits). This can be done by mailing it, dropping off in-person to a VA Regional Benefits Office, using a VSO, or filing it online using the VA system EBenefits and or VA.gov. In our opinion, the best method is for the veteran to file it themselves online, which allows them to take ownership of the claim while submitting documentation and tracking the progress.
