Hi, i have a question. i am a jewellery maker, and i have Muslim friends. I am not religious but I want to make them a set of prayer beads for them for the next big festival now my question is would I cause any offence if I did as I can't find any information on this

I don’t know a lot but I am currently converting I would say it’s probably not a big deal as long as your not gaining money from the word of allah. But this seems like an amazing gift and shouldn’t be any problem or come off offensive if anything I’m sure people would love the thought and acceptance of their religion ❤ inshallah they turn out great

From the seerah of the beloved Prophet, peace be upon him, there is no report or proof of use of bead for dhikur, instead Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, used fingers to count dhikr... Wallahu aalam

I think people Invented the bead to make counting easier because using finger you still could misplace it or anything else ...so I guess that's why they make the bead people tend to use that rather than their finger because it's easier and also because seeing the bead make them remember to do their d'hier because we associâtes it with that ...but I can be wrong that's just my personal take on that 😅
