The problem is that i don't have that deep connection with god, the only thing i have is fear. i stopped praying honestly because i didn't understand the need (and i am ashamed of this please forgive me). My parents remind me a lot of doing them, but i don't know how to do it and they get mad when i don't remember stuff saying that i dont make any effort and that if i really wanted to i could. I really want to have a healthy connection with god you know, being able to rely on religion and have a reason to stay alive but I don't how. Ramadan for me is one of the best moment of the year because i do all my prayers every day, and it honestly makes me feel so good but i struggle keeping that habit and those feelings after ramadan. do any of you have tips for those who want to be more serious in religion and truly have a good connection with god ? also english is not my first language so feel free to correct me if there is any grammar mistakes.
I think the first you should do is an extensive on Islam, why has Allah chose you to be a muslim and try to start practicing one step at a time whilst constantly asking Allah to give you the ability to continue
Like she said in the video, even if you don't feel a connection while praying, do it. Just do it even if you feel terrible after finishing prayer. A bad prayer is better than none at all. It's the shaytan that makes you think your prayers are bad just to stop you from praying. Make duaa for Allah to love you and make you love his religion. Say "Allahumma a’inni ala dhikrika, wa shukrika, wa husni ‘ibadatika" اللهم أعني على ذكرك و شكرك و حسن عبادتك trust me, it's a game changer. Read the Quraan every night, even if it's only a few lines and increase gradually, focusing on the meanings of Ayas more than how much you read. Something that really changed my relationship with Allah and the Quraan is understanding ayas my own way. I'm not saying come up with new tafseer, but I would read an aya slowly, think "How does this resonate with me?" There is always a hidden message for you in almost every single aya. I prefer this to reading tafseer. I limit tafseer only to ayas that I don't understand. The Quraan is a message from Allah to every single one of us, literally letters from Allah to you, and while you read it, Allah is watching you. So read the Quraan like it's a conversation with Allah, answer Him, tell him what yoh think, cry, smile, laugh, and in some moments you will feel his presence so much like He's sending back an answer to you. Whenever you have something to say, any time of the day, whether it's duaa, your feelings, or literally just something that happened that you want to share, say it to Allah. He obviously knows everything but it reminds you that Allah is always here. Allah is always with you so make Him your friend. Once you feel such a connection with Allah, his everpresence, worship will come from a place of love rather than fear. But until then, keep forcing good deeds on yourself, especially prayer, until they start feeling natural again. 🩷
It will come with time. Shaytan wants to disturb you. If you don’t feel the connection, keep praying. I struggled with this problem, thinking that there was a problem when my prayer didn’t feel connected. When accepting that the connection can not always be felt, the connection cale naturally while accepting the less connected moments. Islam is the most beautiful thing.Avoid having a fear relationship, try reading the hadiths of اَللّه love for his servants. اَللَه wants to forgive you. Being born in a muslim family is a sign of love. The need of coming back to Islam is a call from اَللّه

Hello, I am a Non-Muslim girl who wants to engage myself in Ramadan this time as well, but I don't have anyone who can guide me.. Can any of you suggest me what all should I be doing and what to avoid in detail please? May Allah Swt grant all of us Jannah, Ameen
Asalaam alaikum Sister, wonderful! The principles of Islam are submission and Ramadan enables us to practice these principles. In Ramadan we practice fasting, refraining from food and drink from sunrise to sunset. As Muslims we should refrain from backbiting, and in Ramadan the concept of fasting (refraining from eating and drinking) also flows in to refraining from backbiting, swearing, bad behaviour, listening to music, eating excessively. We focus on prayer compulsory and voluntary, dikhr, reading the holy Quran and good deeds that are pleasing to Allah SWT. We also push ourselves in helping others, feeding people, helping where we can, giving to charity etc. Physical intimacy is prohibited between husband and wife whilst fasting too. The month of Ramadan is spent in quiet contemplation and prayer, with muslims seeking obedience to Allah SWT. I hope this helps you in some way and Almighty Allah SWT guides you to Islam and my reply has made things a little clearer for you.
heavy on the nutrition section of the video!! my suhoor gon be medjool dates (best dates ever btw), a hard boiled egg, a protein shake, & my daily supplements (vitamin b, iron). i don't wanna think abt food the entire ramadan you know, & so i really appreciate you including that crucial piece in there because girl why did i watch mukbangs in ramadan too😂 but yeah may Allah swt shower you with loads of good deeds

Thank you so much for making this video - I also grew up with a fearful & harsh image of Allah & I’m finally reconnecting with my spirituality! Coming across this deeply inspiring and informative video from a woman content creator is sooo relatable!! Thank you for speaking from your heart, you are reaching souls. 🤲🏽

As salaam alaikum… thank you so much for this video is starting to put me on a right track to start practicing for Ramadan. Who are you listening to on UA-cam in the background
Thank you sister for this video. As a new Muslimah, I’m nervous going into my first Ramadan. Especially the fasting part. I’m not really sure what make up your fast means, if you could elaborate a little I would really appreciate it! May Allah swt reward you 🤲🏾
Please also refrain from sharing your food, etc. -- the people of Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Sudan are struggling at the moment. Please keep them in your prayers--a sister below said our prayers/Dua are our weapons. Joyous Ramadan and pray for the resistance! Liberation to all!
Try making a schedule, make time for studying, and make time for worship. If u make a routine it will be much easier for u inshallah. While studying u can take breaks as well and u can do istigfar and pray etc.
Do you have any recommendations on channels that go over tafseer? I’m a convert and this is my biggest goal this Ramadan but want to get knowledge from a good place
Let's not forget to make duas for the people of Palestine, Sudan, the Congo and so on, this Ramadan. Dua is the weapon of the believers.

Hey, so I have exams during Ramadan can y’all give me some advice on how I can study and at the same time get a better connection with god?
Try making a schedule, make time for studying, and make time for worship. If u make a routine it will be much easier for u inshallah. While studying u can take breaks as well and u can do istigfar and pray etc.
Amazing video Allahuma barik, may Allah reward you 😍 please where is come from your abaya ? I love it 😍
