Though some specualt her and Queen/Princess God Twilight have a thing going, idk.

Everything with them for almost 9 seasons was a contest, a rivalry and sometimes so bitter a rivalry that they nearly got all their students killed on a field trip because working together has never been their thing. Rarity and Applejack are opposites but they understand each other, they grew up together and find common ground. One is always the cooler head when the other is having one of those manic pony moments the writers like to force on them. LOL Same with Dash and Shy. But Dash COULD find common ground with any of the other 4. Pinkie and Dash would be too perfect. Bottom line is something MASSIVELY changed between Dash and AJ from the defeat of Discord's Legion of Doom to The Last Problem for them to be a couple. 10yrs though, a lot could change. I know it has been at least 10yrs because the CMC, DT, Twist and Silver were all adult mares in the background.
