Escape From Thanet 5 - The Trailer

This is the joint trailer for my next home movie projects - Escape From Thanet 5 and 6.
For those of you NOT in the know, I will explain a little of what Escape From Thanet is, and what it means to myself and my frinds.
Way back in 2000 I recorded a series of day trips out and about in Kent with my Freinds James, Paul and Pete which I titled "Escape From Thanet".
We would often travel around to film various trains, boats and places. At first this may not seem the most exciting thing we could have filmed, but with the benefit of hindsight we now realise that many of the things we filmed simply don't exist anymore: We filmed the SRN4 Hovercraft in Dover months before they were withdrawn from service (and were later followed by the Sea Cats), We filmed Concorde weeks before the fateful crash in Paris that led to the withdrawl of THAT service, and so many of the places we visited have since been redevleoped and regenerated.
What started as a simple home movie among a group of freinds has developed into a bit of a nostalgic trip down memory lane to re-live sights and sounds we simply can't see anymore.
Since that summer in 2000, I have filmed another 3 "Escape" Films.
I am currently in the process of editing together the 5th and 6th films (to be completed back - to - back).
Sadly, one of my freinds - Paul - sadly passed away in April 2011. Both the new Escape films will feature the last footage I recorded of him during the production period (2007 - 2011). As a result, both films will be dedicated to him as a tribute.
So, there is a breif history of the Escape Films. This trailer (designed to give my freinds a taste of the film I am editing) mainly features footage from the first 4 Escapes - with a healthy does of new footage as well.
I hope you enjoy - and I hope to be able to add some edited scenes on here at some point.
