Laurie Mains, What a fabulous coach. Laurie was ruthless on his forwards . I remember watching Laurie train the AB's at Onewa Domain back in 1992 . He trained them like no other indeed . Mains coached Jamie Joseph and Aran Pene as well, 2 real toughnuts indeed
as a Harbour fan I loved to hate Otago . The Otago forwards always played well drilled midfield inpenetrable ruck and maul football . with guys like Jamie Joseph,Aran Pene and Gordon MacPherson they werent adverse to a bit of dirt as well
Some of the worst British rugby I have ever watched. Peter Winterbottom outstanding, though. Otherwise, apart from the immature rocking comment, I agree with the other posters. Very depressing viewing. GG.
